Intermittent fasting works by “prolonging the period when your body has burned through the calories consumed during your last meal and begins burning fat,” explains Johns Hopkins Medicine.

2. She Practices Portion Control

Another way that Lorin manages her diet is by allowing herself to eat almost anything but not eating too much of it. “I eat whatever i want pretty much, just in controlled portions,” she said in the same post.

While you might not find Lorin slaving away at the gym, she gets her steps in. “I try staying active through other things like walking around my village,” she added on Twitter. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses.
