LPGA Tour Star Charley Hull in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shows Off "Instagram vs. Reality"

She recently shared a video on Instagram of herself on a fitness bike.

Charley Hull is a highly successful golfer, known for becoming the youngest player to compete in the international Solheim Cup. Hull has also won Rookie of the Year and competed in both the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour. At the age of 15, she became the youngest competitor to qualify for the tour ladder. Staying in top shape is important to Hull, who recently shared a video on Instagram of herself on a fitness bike, captioning the post, "Instagram vs. Reality." With a dedication to fitness, self-care, and preparation, Hull balances her golf career with workouts, sprints, and rowing, staying physically and mentally ready for the game. Here are some of Hull's healthy habits.

1

She Golfs

Golf is the main way Hull keeps herself in shape. The sport has a lot of health benefits. Better Health states, "Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you'll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you'll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more."

Hull shared some of her secrets to success in an interview with Marie Claire UK. She says that she always makes sure to be prepared. "If you put the effort in and prepare as well as you can, that should help build your confidence," Hull explained. "I think it's great going into something knowing that you've prepared at least as well or maybe even better than anyone else."

She's All About Self-Care

No matter how busy Hull gets, she makes sure to take care of herself. She shared her favorite self-care practices with Marie Claire UK. "I'm very into my skincare and love having facials whenever I'm home. As a golfer, we are out in the sun/ wind/ rain for up to 8 hours each day so I do my best to protect it from the elements and keep it hydrated. I also have regular massages to stay relaxed."

She Does Sprints

Hull shared some of her favorite workouts in her Marie Claire UK interview. She says that sprints are a favorite of hers. "Working out is really important to me, both physically and mentally. Obviously I need to be strong for golf, but I enjoy the challenge of a good workout and love doing sprints etc. My trainer (@precisiongolfkate) is a top Hyrox athlete so she's great at challenging me and keeping it fresh. It's good for my mind and I think the routine that comes with being a professional athlete helps me. I also remind myself how lucky I am to be travelling the world, doing something I love for a job!"

She Uses A Rowing Machine

Hull shared some of her favorite workouts in this Instagram post. In two of the photos, she is seen on a rowing machine. Hull captioned the post, "Active is attractive." The Cleveland Clinic states that using a rowing machine has a lot of benefits. "Like running or a session on an elliptical, rowing is a full-body workout. But unlike those activities, you don't have to stand to do it. That means less pressure on your legs and more work for your upper body."
