Lauren Frost is running a marathon – in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the beauty queen and Miss Oklahoma winner shows off her incredible body in exercise gear as she crosses the finish line of the Oklahoma City Marathon. “#RUNtoREMEMBER 👏🏻,” she wrote in the Instagram caption. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Clogging

For her talent at the Miss Oklahoma competition, Frost showed off her clogging moves. "I'm a clogger, I was the only clogger on the stage," she told News on 6. "It's always really fun to bring that to people, and sometimes it's their first time even hearing about clogging... so I'll get to bring that to Miss America and it'll be so fun. I've been doing it since I was five and my feet move really fast."

2. Hiking

During a trip to Oregon, Lauren spent a lot of time hiking. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

3. Bike Riding

Lauren enjoys riding her bike. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

4. Dancing

Lauren was a competitive dancer in college. “The journey has not been easy, but I am blessed to have learned the power of perseverance. 2 months ago I couldn’t walk on my tiptoes. Now, in 4 days, I’ll be leaving to compete in the highest level of collegiate dancing. I appreciate every ounce of support that has been given to me! I’m not taking any of this for granted,” she captioned a post from a competition.

5. Running

Lauren is also a runner. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.
