As she prepares for her next fight, Ladd took to Instagram to share her excitement and anticipation, expressing her eagerness to find out the details of her upcoming match with Bellator MMA. “I’m so excited to find out the where/what/who of my next fight now that I’m healed up,” she wrote, giving fans a glimpse into her mindset. Whether it’s hiking in scenic California or hitting the gym for strength training, Ladd maintains a disciplined fitness routine, while also spending quality time with her beloved German Shepherds. Here’s how she keeps herself in fighting shape.

1. She Hikes

Ladd shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is going for hikes. Ladd shared this set of photos and videos of herself and her dogs hiking in California. She captioned the post, “Just your standard dose of daily hiking pics between my training sessions 🍁⛰️🐺” Ladd also posted this hiking video, captioning it, “An absolutely lovely place to spend the evening 🙂 this particular peak is also historically significant …just below this point at an elevation of 9,400 ft was THE HIGHEST point the wagon trains crossed while immigrants were traveling West, in hopes of a better life .”

2. She Has Dogs

As you can see from the previous blurb’s Instagram links, Ladd has two German Shepherds, whom she features on her Instagram. Ladd does a lot of activities with her pups. She shared this video of herself and her dogs enjoying time on rocks overlooking the water. Ladd captioned the post, “Little bit of chilling out between things today 💙 PRP update : I’m feeling SO GOOD , leg feels strong, and if all goes well at next weeks checkup I’ll be easing into full training again. FINALLY, I’m itching the fight again at this point 😬”

3. She Uses Weights

Ladd does a lot of strength training to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing back leg lifts with a weight. Ladd captioned it, “Just over here doing some light balance work. Watching the @bellatormma fights in San Diego and feeling some MAJOR FOMO 🥲Here’s to end of the year. 🤞” She also shared this video of herself and her brother doing deadlifts with kettlebells. Ladd captioned that post, “Little morning work with the giant baby bro @shealorladd over at @gamefitsac this fine morning.”

4. She Does Squats

Ladd doesn’t skip leg day. She enjoys doing squats to keep herself in shape. Ladd shared this video on Instagram of herself doing squats with a kettlebell. She captioned the post, “Front squatting with two kettle bells like this is SO AWKWARD , it’s only 70 pounds which for a back squat is nothing but doing it this way is actually weirdly hard . I dislike it greatly 😂 but when my PT gives orders I listen ( orders came from @kimeperformancept ).”

5. She Swims

Ladd likes to swim to stay in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her dogs enjoying a day at the lake. Ladd captioned it, “Kylo was like …you’re done now, no more floating around out in the deep water 😂 this was how I ended my night after physical therapy, some miles, and my assigned rehab exercises today.”
