Gabi Garcia is dancing on stage in her workout gear. In a new social media post the MMA star shows off her moves in a two-piece exercise set while attending the Craig Jones Invitational. “Legend,” Stuart Cooper Films, who shared the Instagram video, writes in the caption. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Cold Plunge

Gabi is one of the many athletes who rely on cold plunges to help restore and recover. “7 minutes ice bath for finish my day! Control my mindset is everything!” she captioned a post. There is limited research supporting the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increased focus, improved sleep, and decreased inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes basic post-sport recovery.

2. Prioritizing Mental Health

Gabi is open about her mental health struggles. “One step at a time. The hardest thing than starting something is starting from scratch after years of hard work. This time with depression and health issues and also not having my mind and spirit in balance has really taken a toll on me,” she wrote in a post. “It took me long to take that step of scoring and going to train with @choiultimatetraining I wasn't ready to start over yet. I've been at my high performance for a long time and having to start over is a very painful process. But today I put on my white stripe of life and I'm back to doing my physical part and getting my training schedule in order. this makes me so happy! Today I was very happy to take another step towards the change I want for my life. and once again I'll be back better than ever. Getting up is difficult, the flame was out. But I've always started over, I've always tried, and it wouldn't be any different. I never asked for victory I always asked that I endure the process to the top and that's life. Today I took one more small step but for me it's huge. For those who know the taste of success, work is not a problem but a solution. I don't have less problems but stronger shoulders to move on”

3. Diets

Gabi puts herself on diets when she has goals to achieve. “In November I started my diet. slowly, small steps. many obstacles, stress, problems, pain. But I needed to take the first step and get out of that depression! I didn’t want to let the opportunity come and I couldn’t get in shape. There’s still a long way to go, but I’ve already lost 20lbs and I still have 20 more to lose. Starting over is always painful,” she wrote in a post.

4. Jiu Jitsu

Gabi’s career focuses around her jiu jitsu practice. “Jiu-Jitsu gave me confidence in myself and a life lesson that today I don't know what my life would be without jiu-Jitsu,” she wrote in a post. “So many medals and so many memories and yet jiu jitsu gives me the greatest joy I have.” Studies confirm that the practice helps with balance, cognitive function and psychological health in addition to weight loss and physical fitness.

5. Dancing

As you can see in this latest video, Gabi enjoys dancing. Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

Nikki Garcia, also known as Nikki Bella, is a former pro wrestler. She and her twin sister, Brie, were known as the Bella Twins in the WWE. Garcia and her sister also starred in the E! Reality series Total Divas, Total Bellas, and have a podcast together. Garcia will also appear on the upcoming season of The Traitors. She recently posted a carousel post on Instagram, captioning it, “Tis’ the season to be Jolly lol right @brie ?! 🎅🏻Catch up on the latest episodes of @thenikkiandbrieshow We had such an incredible interview with @carichampion love her so much! And finally got to talk a little bit about when I hosted @netflix Unfinished Beef! That’s where I met Cari! 😍 She just blew my mind!! Her interview has such great advice and inspiration in it so make sure to take a listen! ✨🤍Also if you haven’t heard I’m on the next season of @thetraitors.us premiering January 9th on @peacock Mark those calendars 💋”

She Does Squats

In her Instagram post, Garcia included a video of herself doing squats at the gym. Squats have a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says that the exercise is a great way to burn calories. “Engaging large muscle groups helps burn calories both during and after exercise. One study found that squats burn about 35 calories per minute, aiding in weight management and fat loss.”

She Lifts Weights

Garcia likes to lift weights to keep herself in shape. In her Instagram post, she is seen doing squats with a weighted bar. Garcia talked about her approach to lifting weights in an interview with Us Weekly. “More repetition, less weight. But I miss squatting heavy. I feel like my legs were able to get toned and my butt stayed bigger.

She Does Barre Classes

A photo of people during a barre class.

In her Us Weekly interview, Garcia shared some of her favorite workouts. One thing she likes to do is go to barre classes. ACE Fitness states that these exercises have a lot of benefits. “Traditional barre classes typically focus on exercises that help participants with posture, alignment and proper engagement of the core stabilizer muscles used for many positions that must be held for extended periods of time. An important feature of barre workouts is holding a position to keep the engaged muscles under isometric tension.”

She Does the Elliptical

Garcia also told Us Weekly that she uses the elliptical to keep herself in shape. The Cleveland Clinic states that the elliptical has a lot of benefits. “Using an elliptical machine can give you a great cardio workout. Your speed and machine resistance will affect your workout intensity and how hard your heart works. (For moderate intensity, you should feel slightly out of breath yet still be able to have a conversation.)”

She's All About Body Positivity

Garcia is all about body positivity. She revealed in an interview with Us Weekly that she got this from her mother. “My mom said, ‘You’re gonna be my age one day and will look back and be like, why didn’t I appreciate that body more?’,” Garcia explained. “[God] didn’t make me a size 2 or 0. He made me curvy in a beautiful and ass-kicking way!”

Former professional wrestler and TV personality Nikki Garcia (one half of the Bella twins along with sister Brie) may not be competing in the ring anymore, but she’s still fit, strong, and fabulous. The Total Bellas star shared a video of herself wearing black leggings and a tank top, lifting weights at the gym. “So the goal is to get strong again in 2024. I miss feeling super strong. Best advice I ever got from my Kiki, who’s super strong and healthy in her 90’s, was always keep your legs strong, strong legs let you enjoy and keep up with every decade of your life. Amen to that! Now let’s go get strong again💋💪🏼 Enjoy the weekend Bonita Army!” she captioned the post. Here’s how Garcia is thriving at 40.

1. Pilates and Yoga

Garcia has switched from mainly powerlifting to Pilates, yoga, and barre workouts. “For me, it’s definitely less weight, more power walks, and more reset movement,” she told New Beauty. “It’s more about toning and lengthening with body weight than using actual weight. I think that is always the one thing that will remind you of your age! The aches and all those things. I’ve really tried to be kinder to my body in the way of not looking at it like we’re in a competition. It’s not trying to have crazy abs that are popping out and biceps. It’s more of just having good health. I may not look like a cover girl, but it’s OK.”

2. Biohacking Fan

Garcia loves trying new wellness trends. “It’s about having a healthy lifestyle, she told Us Weekly. “[I’m] really big on biohacking — cold plunging and infrared sauna baths. I don’t drink soda; I don’t eat fried food unless it’s french fries every now and then. I make sure to get protein and veggies in.”

3. Meditation Every Day

Calm,Serene,Sporty,Young,African,American,Ethnic,Woman,Meditate,SitShutterstock

Garcia and her sister both incorporate meditation into their wellness routines. “It’s so important to bring meditation into it; Brie and I are in a fortunate position that we can have a life coach. That has been such a blessing for me,” she told New Beauty. “Even an app like Headspace can help with that; I truly feel that it’s so important to talk to someone and, sometimes, you need to have someone professional, not just friends to talk to. Sometimes, the people that love us have a hard time telling us things that we need to be told. That’s why I think professionals are amazing to have in your life.”

4. Strong Is Sexy

Garcia has learned to appreciate her strong, unique physique. “My mom [Kathy Laurinaitis]said, ‘You’re gonna be my age one day and will look back and be like, why didn’t I appreciate that body more?’” she told Us Weekly. “[God] didn’t make me a size 2 or 0. He made me curvy in a beautiful and ass-kicking way!”

5. 40 and Fabulous

Garcia is excited about what her 40s will bring. “You get reminded of your age in the entertainment industry,” she told Us Weekly. But I know what I want out of life, and I know where I’m going and I know who Nikki Garcia is. And that feels pretty damn good.”

It can be included in your cardio workout routines, or even used as a form of active rest! Increasing your heart rate is one of the best ways to burn fat, and learning how to do jumping jacks along with their variations is an awesome way to burn fat and build muscles at the same time without weights. Both aerobic and resistance training are the fundamentals of good physical health.”

The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Natasa Stankovic in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Wednesday Challenge"

Stankovic shares her go-to workout moves, from squats to lunges, cardio, Pilates, and strength training.

Entertainment India - March 2023

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Kim French in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Real Results" Workout

Learn how she sculpts her powerhouse physique with deadlifts, lunges, squats, and more.

Kim French is more than just a personal trainer—she’s a fitness coach who empowers thousands through her Believe App and Instagram workouts. Known for her structured, effective home training plans, she proves that you don’t need a gym full of heavy weights to build serious strength.

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

French is seen doing hamstring curls in her Instagram post. According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
