"This set is dropping September 21," she captioned the Instagram Story. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Snorkeling
Mayci enjoys snorkeling. She went snorkeling with her family in Cabo San Lucas. "Mexico photo dumpy!☀️Now we're back to reality😩Which photo is your fav?👇🏼" she captioned the post. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.
Hiking
Mayci also likes to hike. "Summer in utah with the fam>>>☀️," she captioned a post. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:
- Building stronger muscles and bones
- Improving your sense of balance
- Improving your heart health
- Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems
Hot Tub Soaks
Mayci soaks in the jacuzzi. She posed next to the hot tub at the Snowpine Lodge on a recent getaway. If you don't have access to a hot tub, just take a bath. They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.
Tennis
Mayci was a college tennis star when she got pregnant. "Never give up on yourself 💪🏼 You can do anything you set your mind to despite what statistics or your haters say😘," she captioned a video of herself playing. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.
Workout Apps
Mayci uses the Obé app where she has a personal trainer who helps "keep me accountable," she says in an Instagram video. Her trainer "created a custom workout plan tailored to my needs and interests, and I've been doing boxing classes, HIIT, yoga, and more," she says.
