Read on to see 5 ways Natasha Liu Bordizzo stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.
1. She Takes Care Of Her Skin
Bordizzo shared some of her skincare secrets in an interview with Byrdie. “In the morning, I use Cosmedix Purity Clean Exfoliating Cleanser ($66) as it's really refreshing and leaves my skin feeling smooth. I then follow with Chanel Hydra Beauty Serum ($124). Once that’s absorbed a little, I finish with a Sisley moisturizer or one from Aspect Dr ($33). At night, it's largely the same, although twice a week I'll use EmerginC Scientific Organics At-Home Facial Peel + Clarifying Kit ($125) as a strong exfoliant. Also once or twice a week in the mornings—especially if I have a shoot—I'll use Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask ($180) which instantly smooths, brightens and plumps.”
2. She Gets Skincare Treatments
In addition to taking care of her skin, Bordizzo likes to get skincare treatments done. She shared her favorites with Byrdie. “My secret is visiting Melanie Grant in her Double Bay clinic for regular facials and rejuvenating Omnilux. Especially before and after flights. You don't realize how dull your skin has been looking until you’ve had a treatment there.”
3. She Eats A Mostly Vegetarian Diet

Bordizzo shared some of her diet secrets with Byrdie. “I'm ‘accidentally’ vegetarian most of the week though,” she explains. “For breakfast, I'll usually have muesli with coconut milk or eggs and avocado (the Aussie classic). For lunch, I'll eat at a cafe as I'm always out and about. For dinner, it's a simple stir-fry with veggies, tofu and a heap of tamari. Or a prawn pasta with a tomato base.”
4. She Does Martial Arts
Bordizzo tells Byrdie that she practices martial arts to keep herself in shape. “I've been doing martial arts for most of my life and normal cardio workouts really bore me. I love martial arts because you're so concentrated on the art form and the self-defense element that you often forget you're working out.
5. She’s A Conscious Consumer
Bordizzo tells WellMadeClothes.com that she makes sure to read the ingredients on food before she buys it. “I’ve now come to the conclusion that I just need to be a conscious consumer. For me it’s more about where the food is from, than what it is. Also how it’s cooked. I’ll always go for steamed food, especially when I’m in Asia because the food is either steamed or fried. I’ll think about the source for the foods I’m eating, I try to buy organic. And just checking the ingredients list on what I’m eating. If you see too many ingredients, or ingredients you can’t pronounce, then it’s generally a good indicator that it’s not good for you.”
