Nicola Peltz in Bathing Suit Says "Happy 4th"

Here’s what her diet and exercise consist of.

Nicola Peltz has come up with a unique way to keep the sun off her face—simply wear a pool inflatable around your head like a halo. The 28-year-old wife of Brooklyn Beckham shared a picture of herself wearing a black bikini as she relaxed in the water, enjoying what looked like a delicious snack. "Happy 4th," read the text on her humorous snap. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Peltz stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

Chai Latte Every Morning

Peltz starts every single day with the same drink—a chai tea latte with oat milk. She also developed a love for lavender lattes after trying one once in Napa. "Oat milk can be enjoyed and included as part of a healthy, well-balanced diet that also includes plenty of colorful produce, healthy fats and protein," says Jorden Edinger, RDN, LD. "Keep in mind that oat milk made at home will be lower in many of the micronutrients, like calcium and vitamin D, that are added by manufacturers to store-bought varieties."

Dates For a Snack

Peltz loves dates for a healthy snack that also satisfies her sweet tooth. "Dates are high in fiber with about 7 grams per serving," says Gillian Culbertson, RD, LD. "That's the same amount of fiber as a cup of cooked whole wheat pasta or just under a half cup of lentils.  Another benefit of eating dates is helping you reach your body's daily iron quota."

Homemade Salads

Peltz makes homemade salads made of arugula, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, candied nuts, and Parmesan cheese. "The health benefits of olive oil have been attributed to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties," says Howard E. LeWine, MD. "In fact, observational studies have shown a link between lower risks of cardiovascular disease, some cancers, and even dementia in people who consume higher amounts of olive oil than those who use little or none."

Her Fitness Regimen

Peltz loves walking, hot yoga, and SoulCycle sessions to stay fit. "Walking does several things to improve health," says Barry Franklin, director of preventive cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. "It lowers your risk factors for cardiovascular disease, decreases body weight and fat stores, decreases blood sugar levels, modestly improves your lipid profile and reduces chronic stress."

Pasta For Dinner Made By Brooklyn

Peltz loves pasta for dinner. "Brooklyn [Beckham] cooks a lot which I love," she says. "My favorite thing that he makes is angel hair pasta with pink sauce… probably my favorite meal ever. Brooklyn always does the cooking, I'm a terrible cook. The only thing I can do is make that salad, and I feel very happy about that, but that is the only thing I can contribute to dinner. Other than that I just eat everything."
