Former Disney Channel Star Olivia Holt Shares Swimsuit Photos From Mexico

Here are her top lifestyle habits.

Olivia Holt is living her best life in Mexico in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the Cruel Summer star gives fans a glimpse of her recent vacation – and her amazing body in a bathing suit – while having a blast south of the border. "Mexico on film 🌼 bye cutie summer," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. "Gorgeous," commented one of her followers. "Badddieeeee," added another. How does the actress maintain her fit physique? Celebwell rounded up some of her top lifestyle habits.

1

Walking

Olivia regularly goes for walks together with dog Roger. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Athleticism

Olivia's history of athleticism helps her in her career, especially with her Broadway role in Chicago,"from being a gymnast to a cheerleader [to] Kickin' It — we did legit boot camps on that show," she said in an interview with Brit + Co. "I never reached the level of being a Black Belt like my character, but we did so much of our own stunt work. Even when I was working on Cloak & Dagger, that was a Marvel show full of constant stunt work and I did a lot of that too. I feel like so many of the roles that I've done have really helped me prepare for this because of all that physicality."

Hiking

Olivia also loves hiking, a great way to get exercise. "No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between," says the National Parks Service. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.

Olivia told Girls Life that she loves swimming, hiking, and tumbling with her friends. However, her favorite workout is fighting. Parkour. "I love it," she said. "It teaches you how to do all sorts of stunts, and it challenges me."

Indulging in Guilty Pleasures

Olivia's guilty pleasures? "Popcorn. I like Smart Food White Cheddar Popcorn, but I do just like plain movie theater popcorn too. [On set] I got everyone hooked on popcorn dipped in Nutella. It's soooo good. But it is very messy," she dished to She Knows. She also revealed that she has a favorite condiment. "I eat everything with ketchup. I smother everything with ketchup. I cannot eat a meal without ketchup. I carry ketchup in my purse."
