In just a short time, Olivia Rodrigo has ascended to global stardom. With two critically acclaimed, Grammy-nominated albums under her belt, she’s broken records and embarked on a world tour. Recently, Rodrigo shared a photo on her Instagram story from a bridge in Singapore, prepping for her concert. Despite her rapid rise to fame, Rodrigo stays grounded, often reflecting on her inspirations and personal growth. As she navigates life in the spotlight, she continues to evolve both personally and artistically. Her music, layered with emotion and honesty, resonates deeply with fans around the world, capturing the complexity of growing up. Here’s a look at some of her thoughts and habits that help guide her success.

1. She Has Inspirations

Miami,,Fl,,Usa;,July,2022;,Folk,Rock,Singers,,Simon,AndShutterstock

In an interview with Deadline, Rodrigo shared who her inspirations are. “I love listening to like OG singer-songwriters. I find that that’s an endless well of inspiration. I was listening to a lot of Simon and Garfunkel while making Guts and this Hunger Games song. I listened to a lot of Carole King and Joni Mitchell and people like that I feel like always move me.”

2. She Feels Less Pressure

Rodrigo tells The New Yorker that she felt less pressure making her second album after her first had so much success. “It happened so young in my career. I had this album that was out, and I won Grammys, and I was nineteen, and I was, like, Wow, I’ve done so much that I wanted to do. I’m only nineteen. But, in a way, that’s also sort of freeing. Maybe that sounds weird, but it’s so nice to have accomplished those things in the last album cycle. I’m so grateful for everything that happened then, and all of the doors that that’s opened. But, in a way, it’s kind of nice also to think, Now I just get to make music for me. You know what I mean? I feel like I can get away with doing anything now.”

3. She’s Layered

Rodrigo tells The New Yorker that her songs are a lot like her, layered. “I think that I am very multifaceted as a person, and some days I feel like I want to be super sarcastic and satirical and I feel angry and pissed. And, other times, I’m feeling really sentimental and want to write a guitar ballad. I think that it’s fun to play with different aspects of your personality, but I always try to make it seem genuine and true to who I am on a soul level, too.”

4. She’s Changed

Rodrigo opened up about how she feels she’s changed to The New Yorker. “I’ve changed so much just between the ages of seventeen and twenty. In that time period, you grow. I feel like I grew twenty-five years in three years. So, yeah, she’s vastly different. But I definitely remember the fear of sitting down and trying to write this second album, and thinking, Oh, my God, I’m not a seventeen-year-old girl going through her first heartbreak anymore. That’s such a universally relatable experience. How am I going to make something that people can get behind?”

5. She Takes Classes

Olivia RodrigoOlivia Rodrigo/Instagram

Rodrigo revealed to The New Yorker that she wanted to take a poetry class to help with her writing. “There’s a song on the album called ‘Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl’—it’s about me dealing with the consequences of that. I was homeschooled my whole life, and I always wanted to go to college. I was always very curious. There’s so much that I want to know in this world. I really enjoyed taking that class. I’ve always been super interested in poetry, and I’ve been writing it for a long time. It was really informative, and I feel very grateful that I got that opportunity. We actually turned one of the poems that I wrote as an assignment in the poetry class into a song on the album, called ‘Lacy.’”

Ponton shares a lot of gorgeous photos on Instagram. A few weeks ago, she shared some photos of herself in two brown and white bra tops, and brown pants. She captioned the post, “How do my eyes look? Quick!” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Olivia Ponton stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Doesn’t Want To Impress Men

Olivia Ponton.1Olivia Ponton/Instagram

In an interview on HighLow with Em Rata, Ponton spoke out against the pressures for women to impress men. “From such a young age, we are taught that we are supposed to do the absolute most to impress men. I still fall under it. It's not like I've cracked the coat or anything. I still struggle with it. ‘I'm still like, oh, I'm single. I should go out and wear a cute dress and see if I get boys' attention.’ I don't even want their attention. I don't even like them. I don't know where my thought process is when I'm doing this. And I think our society has just normalized that girls should spend hours getting ready to go out and boys just show up and they're just so comfortable in front of whatever it would be. And I don't agree with it.”

2. She Does Ab Workouts

@iamoliviaponton

Monday Reset: 15 min AB workout routine🎀💜🩵 #abworkout

Ponton shares a lot of her favorite workouts on TikTok. In this video, she is seen doing ab workouts. The Mayo Clinic states that ab workouts are important. “Your core is the central part of your body. It includes your pelvis, lower back, hips and stomach. The stomach muscles sometimes are called abs. Core exercises train the muscles in your core to work in harmony. This leads to better balance and steadiness, also called stability. Stability is important whether you're on the playing field or doing regular activities. In fact, most sports and other physical activities depend on stable core muscles.”

3. She Dances

@iamoliviaponton

Ponton is seen dancing in this TikTok. Dancing has a lot of benefits. “One of the health benefits is cardiovascular,” said Kellie Grabfelder, DPT, physical therapist, tells The Cleveland Clinic. “So, it's an aerobic exercise which helps our body use oxygen, which helps increase our heart rate. It gets our blood pumping through our body and oxygen to our muscles. And this can even aid in weight loss for people.”

4. She Uses A Stairclimber

Olivia Ponton.2Olivia Ponton/Instagram

Ponton revealed on TikTok that she likes to use a stairclimber to stay in shape. ACE Fitness states that workouts like these have a lot of benefits. “Improving metabolic health in terms of lower risks of heart problems and other complications, also by definition improves fitness. You can feel your heart working harder and the fire in your lungs when you ascend stairs. And that’s provoking important changes in your cardiorespiratory system that will make physical activities, like running and walking, feel easier.”

5. She Swims

Olivia Ponton.3Olivia Ponton/Instagram

Ponton is seen in a pool in this Instagram video. Swimming has a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic states, “Swimming isn’t just good exercise, it’s great exercise. That’s thanks to the water itself, which offers buoyancy and resistance that makes it easier on your whole body than other forms of exercise…We’re not saying that swimming is easy (far from it!), but swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

Rita Ora is always on the move, traveling around the world for work—but she never skips her health and fitness routine. Ora, 33, shared pictures from a recent trip to Auckland, New Zealand, including several of her posing in workout gear while taking gym selfies. “It’s one of those posts…workouts and lol’s,” she captioned the post. “I still cannot believe you're in New Zealand!!!💕💕💕 you're so amazing!!!” a fan commented. Here’s how Ora stays healthy and strong, even on the road.

1. Weights and Resistance Bands

Ora works out three to four times a week, mixing up her workouts. “I might go to the gym three times a week, and then I’ll definitely do a Pilates class, so it’s not always weights,” she told Women’s Health. “I always travel with 1KG and 2KG dumbbells, ankle weights, and a medium resistance band. If I can’t do a workout, I just use the ankle weights and wear them when we’re around town, or at home.”

2. Big Lunch, Light Dinner

Ora saves her heaviest meal of the day for a big lunch. “I have a light breakfast, a substantial lunch, and then a light dinner,” she told Women’s Health. “So what has made a drastic difference over the last three or four months is that I’ve been drinking a liter and a half, maybe two liters of water a day. I can only speak for myself. This is not me telling everyone, ‘I’m the new health guru and I know everything’, because I don’t. This is just what has been working for me.”

3. Live Performances

Ora‘s favorite part of her job is doing live performances. “I love the energy of the crowds, moving around the stage and interacting with my band,” she told W Magazine. “I don’t really get nervous anymore—I just get really excited. I have an insane amount of energy before I hit the stage. I do a lot of stretching and vocal exercises to get myself centered and both physically and mentally prepared, and then I’m ready to go!”

4. Sleep and Self-Care

Ora prioritizes sleep and says she is a big fan of the snooze button. “After I wake up, I do some light stretching just to get myself going and then I like to do affirmations,” she told W Magazine. “I think it’s really important to start the day off with positive energy. I usually do all that before my morning skincare, and then it’s off to breakfast! I would say the most important part of my wellness routine is not going straight to my phone in the morning. I like to take my time and really get myself centered before I go into work mode. After breakfast, I shower and then head to the gym for cardio and weights.”

5. Therapy Sessions

Ora swears by regular therapy sessions as being incredibly beneficial for her mental health. “It might not be for everyone, but it's been a great outlet for me to talk in private… It just feels really safe, and it's just nice to get it off my chest,” she told Wondermind. “To have an hour to sit down with someone and solely talk about whatever you want is like [chef’s kiss] in my books. And it's helped me a lot with my new album being able to express myself, finding words to communicate. All of that I learned in therapy.”

In his TikTok, Wahlberg is seen enjoying eggs with sausage. According to University Hospitals, eggs have a lot of health benefits. “At 70 calories each, eggs are a stellar protein source and a nutritional powerhouse. When eaten as part of a balanced diet, eggs provide multiple health benefits and are unlikely to pose a risk for heart disease.”

He Eats Salmon

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying salmon. The Mayo Clinic states that salmon has a lot of benefits. “Seafood in general, and salmon in particular, is a good choice for protein in the diet. If you can use salmon in place of a higher fat meat, that's even better. Salmon is probably best known for its omega-3 fatty acids. Called EPA and DHA, these fats may support heart health, brain function and healthy joints.”

He Likes Lemon Juice

Wahlberg is seen enjoying lemon juice in his TikTok. St. Vincent’s Medical Center states that lemon is very beneficial. “Weight-loss studies have also noted the effects of lemon. Drinking lemon water, which keeps you hydrated, increases your metabolism. One glass burns at least six calories. It can also help you feel full, making it easier to resist an urge to snack.”

He Likes Olive Oil

Another thing that Wahlberg is seen eating in his TikTok is olive oil. According to The Cleveland Clinic, olive oil has a lot of health benefits. “EVOO contains more than 20 types of polyphenols, a category of plant-based chemical compounds that help protect your heart and reduce inflammation throughout your body. Polyphenols are a type of antioxidant.”

He Gets Enough Protein

Protein is a big part of Wahlberg’s diet. He is not only seen eating high-protein foods like eggs and salmon in his TikTok, but he is also seen eating protein bars and powders. Piedmont states that protein is extremely important. “Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are composed mostly of protein. Your body uses it to build and repair tissue.”

He Eats Blueberries

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying blueberries in his TikTok. The Cleveland Clinic states that blueberries have a lot of benefits. “Because blueberries are high in fiber and lower in sugar when compared to other fruits, they don’t cause your blood sugar to spike. For people with certain health conditions, scientists suspect this positive effect could aid with blood sugar management.”

Rita Ora isn’t just a chart-topping singer and TV star—she’s also serious about staying fit. Whether she’s lighting up the stage with hits like Black Widow or guessing contestants on The Masked Singer, Ora makes sure to carve out time for the gym. In a recent Instagram post captioned "Come to the gym with me," she gave fans an inside look at her workout routine, and it’s packed with powerhouse moves. From treadmill runs to Pilates, here’s exactly how she keeps her body in top shape.

She Strength Trains

Ora is seen using dumbbells and a weighted shoulder press machine in her Instagram video. Both of these are considered strength training exercises. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Runs On The Treadmill

The first thing Ora does at the gym is run on the treadmill. Healthy Talbot states that this has a lot of benefits. “Jogging or running on a treadmill helps to lose weight as well as burn fat quickly and effectively. Yet it’s easier on your knees and joints than outdoor running. This is the most popular advantage of working out on a treadmill workouts. Besides, these workouts burn calories at a faster rate than other aerobic exercises. To burn calories even faster, you just need to run longer and faster on the machine.”

She Does Tricep Exercises

Ora is seen doing tricep curls in her Instagram video. Gymless says that all tricep workouts have a lot of benefits. “Our triceps muscles enable us to extend the elbows, and it is a powerful extender of the forearm. Triceps are often used for pushing, which is utilized in our everyday activities such as opening a door, inserting a plug into a socket, or moving furniture across the room.“

She Does Leg Presses

Ora is also seen using the leg press machine in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic says that this exercise is very beneficial. “The leg press is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work a variety of muscles in the lower body. Specifically, the leg press targets the quadriceps muscles in the front of the thighs, the gluteal muscles in the buttocks, the hamstring muscles in the back of the thighs, and the calves, all in an integrated fashion. Since the leg press works several muscles at once, it's an especially efficient way to strengthen your lower body.”

She Does Pilates

Rita Ora on a Pilates reformer

Rita Ora/Instagram

The last workout that Ora is seen doing in her Instagram video is a session on the Pilates reformer. Pilates has a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn’t going to bulk you up — if anything, it’s designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury.”

For Hewitt, fitness is all about variety. “I try to switch it up a bit,” she told OK! Magazine. “I’ve found that if every week I do something different it tricks my muscles into not getting used to doing any one thing. I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. I wear 10 pound weights on my ankles while I’m working just so that as I’m moving during the day I’m constantly building muscle. It’s not great for your back but I’m doing it anyway. I do a booty workout thing that I just did for Shape, which was really fun. And I do Zumba. I have DVDs and I dance around like a crazy person in my house.”
