Pooja Hegde has the blues – in her swimsuit. The Indian actress shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit in one of her latest social media posts. “Sunset blues,” she captioned an ethereal Instagram video of herself in a blue bathing suit and matching pareo. How does the gorgeous actress keep herself in such fantastic physical shape? Here are the go-to health habits that help her stay fit.
1. Lots of Exercise
Pooja spends a lot of time exercising. She discussed her approach to fitness with Vogue India, explaining that she does headstand workshops, aerial dance classes, Pilates, calisthenics, kick-boxing, circuit, and interval training. “My grandfather is a sportsman who has been felicitated by the President of India. My mom was super athletic. But I always had a lazy excuse ready for every PT class,” she admitted.
2. Self-Acceptance
Pooja maintains that loving herself is key. “We have so many beauty standards. I have been told I am fat and also too thin. All my life I have wanted to be like someone else—have the legs and torso of a Victoria’s Secret model perhaps—until I realized I can’t,” she told Vogue.
3. Healthy Eating

Pooja maintains a healthy diet. She has revealed that she avoids crash diets and does juice cleanses. “You need to take care of your body till you’re 40. After that, your body will take care of you,” she told Vogue. She also revealed that she eats small meals every two hours.
4. Hydration
Pooja is a big proponent of hydration. Not only does she drink a lot of water, but uses coconut oil on her skin and in her food. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
5. Active Lifestyle
Even when she isn’t exercising, Pooja spends a lot of time outdoors engaging in activities. She loves hiking, snorkeling, and taking walks. “Found Nemo! He and his friend were cuties ☺️☺️ #snorkeltales” she captioned this photo from one of her snorkeling trips.
