Jackie Cataline is prepping for her next fight – in her workout gear. In a new social media post the Power Slap champ shows off her amazingly strong body in a two-piece exercise set while training for her next competition. “Drills, drills and more drills!! December 13th I’m stepping back in the cage!!” she captioned the Instagram Reel. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
1. Wrestling
Jackie got her start by wrestling. “Wrestling inherently provides a full-body workout that recruits all of your muscle fibers, tendons, and ligaments, enhancing your overall physical condition naturally over time,” explains Carmel USA Wrestling. “Regular wrestling training promotes strength, agility, and cardiovascular endurance, making it the best available approach to getting in shape and bolstering your health.”
2. Surfing
Jackie loves to surf.”South Bay topaz good surf,” she captioned a series of Instagram snaps. According to the Australian government’s Better Health, surfing provides many health benefits including cardiovascular fitness from paddling, shoulder and back strength, which also strengthens from the paddling, and leg and core strength. “Once you’re standing up on the board, strong legs and a strong core will keep you up,” they say.
3. Stretching
Jackie understands the importance of stretching before and after workouts. “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints,” says Harvard Health. “Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”
4. Golf
Jackie recently learned how to golf. “When you suck at golf and your brother is trying to teach you and you actually hit one pretty good 😂,” she captioned a video. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.
5. Power Slap
“Power Slap is the world’s premier slap fighting organization, licensed and sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission,” the franchise, owned by Ultimate Fighting Championship chief executive officer Dana Whit, explains. “Power Slap features competitors from across the globe battling on the ultimate stage to showcase their power, technique and resolve.”
