1. She’s Comfortable In Her Body

Cook shared a revealing reel on Instagram, where she opened up about her struggles with an eating disorder and body image issues. She says that she’s finding acceptance with her body, and is proud of herself for overcoming any obstacles. “I am so proud of you for deciding you’ll never take a body checking video again. And for sticking to that. I am so proud of you for looking in the mirror and relearning how you deserve to feel about yourself. I am so proud of you for pushing yourself through the thoughts in your mind every single day and for choosing to be free. I am so proud of you. Because even in the harder moments. Even when your mind tricked you back into it, you kept pushing on in the fight. You were consistent and it wasn’t easy. You had everything going against you but you did it. And I have your bravery to thank for the absolute joy my life has been filled with since.”
2. She Has A Better Relationship With Food
In the reel, Cook talked about the relationship she used to have with food, and how she has improved it while recovering. She wrote, “I am so proud of you for that day you finally stopped counting the calories in your meals. And for eating that first bowl of your fear food. I am so proud of you for throwing away that measuring tape. I am so proud of you for being brave enough to go out to eat with your friends that one night in 11th grade. And for ordering something off your meal plan. Your bravery that night changed everything.”
3. She Doesn’t Workout To Lose Weight
In the same reel, Cook also described how her workouts have changed on her path to recovery. She says that she no longer exercises for the purpose of losing weight, but rather to feel good. “I am so proud of you for starting to go to the gym to feel good, and not to set a calorie burn goal.”
4. She Hikes
Cook is a big fan of going outside, and she posts a lot of outdoor photos on her Instagram. One of her favorite outdoor activities is going on a hike. She posted these stunning photos of herself hiking in Vancouver.
5. She Swims
Another of Cook’s favorite outdoor activities is swimming. Not only does she post a lot of photos of herself on the beach, and in the water, she also will go for a quick dip while on a hike.
6. She Works Out Like An Athlete
Cook tells InStyle that her fitness routine is pretty intense, and that she likes to do a lot of different types of exercise. “I work out like an athlete. I add on weight training, I box, and really push my muscles,” she says.
