Sixtine Royer, a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie for 2023, is not just a model but an advocate for change within the industry. Royer, who recently joined fellow models Jena Sims, Denise Austin, and Katie Austin for a workout session, uses her platform to speak out on important issues like body neutrality and inclusion. “The battle for inclusion and diversity remains," she told Wonderland Magazine, highlighting the need to challenge industry standards. For Royer, it’s about more than just looks—she advocates for appreciating the body for what it does, not how it appears. With a focus on changing the conversation around beauty and self-worth, Royer is leading the way to a more inclusive and accepting future.

1. She Wants To Change The Modeling Industry

Sixtine.1Sixtine/Instagram

Royer wants to change how the modeling industry views people. She talked about this to Wonderland Magazine. “Nothing is perfect as it is and there is always something that can change in a positive way. For the modeling industry, the battle for inclusion and diversity remains. Ads are still mostly dominated by thin white models, models of color are still paid less, and many agencies still push their models to extremes to keep their ultra-thin figures. And none of that changes if we all remain complacent.”

2. She Believes In Body Neutrality

Sixtine.3Sixtine/Instagram

Royer is an advocate for people having body neutrality. She shared why to Wonderland Magazine. “I honestly prefer the term body neutrality. This is acceptance of your body, without the need to love it. Body neutrality focuses on accepting your body for what it is: a body. I can appreciate my body for what it allows me to do- dance with my friends, laugh until my stomach hurts, climb the millions of steps it takes to get to my New York apartment- without needing to love my so-called flaws. My body is not made for aesthetic purposes and my own purpose and worth doesn’t need to revolve around it. My body allows me to live my life how I want to, it is simply the meat sack I’ve been given and that is what body neutrality means.”

3. She’s Proud Of Herself

Sixtine.6Sixtine/Instagram

Royer talked about how proud she was of her success in an interview with Latest Magazine. “This whole experience has been a dream honestly and I’ve just tried my best to slow down and appreciate it as best as I can. Becoming a sports illustrated rookie was something I always thought was just a ‘oh maybe one day that would be cool’ goal so to have it happen so unexpectedly was crazy. So, the last couple months have really been a ‘stop and smell the roses’ period for me so I can remind myself just how far I’ve come.”

4. She’s Intentional With Who She Surrounds Herself With

Sixtine.5Sixtine/Instagram

Royer shared some of her tips for improving self-image to Latest Magazine. She says that she makes sure to surround herself with things that won’t make her insecure. “Be specific about what you surround yourself with and what kind of images you’re always seeing. If you’re only following thin ‘Instagram models’ who most likely filter and photoshop their images, it’s likely you’re going to go down a comparison rabbit hole. unfollow people who make you feel bad about yourself, or spend less time on social media all together. Same goes with the people who are around you in your everyday life. If all of your girl friends are consistently talking about dieting and food and what they look like, it’s easy to feel like those are things you should also be obsessing over. Maybe its time to have a conversation with them or find new friends. it’s not easy but it’s worth the effort.”

5. She Gives Herself Grace

Sixtine.4Sixtine/Instagram

Royer tells Latest Magazine that she makes sure to give herself grace. “No one is perfect, absolutely no one. and not every day is a good one. Everyone has bad days and insecurities, no matter what you think. allow yourself to feel the bad feelings, and then let them pass. Your value as a human being is not defined by your body or your size or your shape or your weight. Don’t forget that.”

Jena Sims Koepka is working on her core – in her exercise clothes. In a new social media post the golf wife shows off her strength and amazing body during an exercise circuit. “Cove + Core + Pulling,” she captioned the Instagram video, demonstrating every move in the video. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care and what is her core workout? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. F45 Workouts

Kirkland,Washington,,August,12,,2019.,Kettlebells,Are,Lined,Up,InShutterstock

Jena is a fan of a popular workout method. “My favorite type of workout is F45,” she told FOX. “It’s just a 45-minute class. And I think I like it so much because they play amazing music and it’s so loud.”

2. Weight Lifting

“I’m not a calm, soothing Pilates, yoga princess. I’m like, ‘Scream at me.’ I want to be dripping sweat,” continued Sims. “I want loud music, heavy weights. For my body type, I like to lift weights because I don’t need to do a lot of cardio. I find that lifting weights has been the most beneficial,” she told Fox. “I've been working on just upping my weights a little bit,” she added to Daily Mail. “I can get into this sweet spot and get kind of in a plateau of working out, so I upped my weights after seeing her video because I was so impressed by what she did with her fitness. I'm trying to lift heavier. Trying to build a booty.”

3. Clean Eating

To get in shape for her Sports Illustrated photoshoot, Jena didn’t diet, “ all I'm doing is just eating as clean as I can, but I'm still splurging,” she told Daily Mail. “Like, I had four dinner rolls last night at this charity event as well as my meal.”

4. Pure Barre

Jena also likes to “mix it up” when it comes to exercise. She loves Pure Barre classes, a fusion of yoga, Pilates, and ballet and a “full body, low impact workout” for everybody, according to the brand.

5. Here is Her Core Workout

Here is her latest workout, “such a good series to work the pull muscles and the ABS,” she says.

  1. roll up w/ leg extended
  2. tailbone raises w/ ball between ankles and arms overhead
  3. plank rows
  4. assisted band pull ups

Roxanne Russell is sharing a new workout. In a new video the fitness model and influencer shows off her incredible figure in a two-piece workout ensemble while demonstrating a new workout for her followers. “I have the perfect Power Pilates routine for you!” she wrote in the caption. What is the workout and what are some other healthy habits that keep Roxanne in such great shape? Celebwell has the details on her lifestyle habits.

1. Combining Pilates with Strength Training

Roxanne has a unique workout method. “This total body workout incorporates strength training and classic Pilates, utilising combined and isolated movements,” she shares about her latest workout video. Why is it a good idea to combine pilates with strength training? “Increased resistance, promotes strength building and muscle development, increasing muscle tone and definition,” she writes.

2. Using Dumbbells

Roxanne adds that using dumbbells “also enable targeted isolation of specific muscle groups, such as arms, shoulders, and back, increasing strength otherwise harder to target with traditional pilates.”

3. Here Is the Workout

RoxanneRussellRoxanne Russell/Instagram

In the clip, Roxanne does a variety of exercises, starting with oblique curls. Then she does a variety of glute bridges – chest press, with chest fly, punches, and oblique curl. She then does ab curls, straight leg crunches, clams, and clams 2.

4. What She Eats in a Day

Roxanne eats vegan and recently shared an example of what she eats in a day in one of her posts. Prior to her workout she has a banana and coffee, followed by breakfast: 100g of Special K with berries topped with @phybaperformance protein shake on top with creatine. She also drank coffee and water. For a snack she munches on apples and peaches, followed by lunch, “a satay tofu bowl and tofu scramble on toast.” For dinner she has Thai Vegan Chick’n Curry with Rice and dessert, “choccie.”

5. Hydration

Roxanne makes sure to drink a lot of water. “Stay hydrated kids,” she captioned a post. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Anita Herbert is working her glutes in her exercise gear. In a new social media post the fitness influencer and Hungarian model shows off her amazing body during an intense workout session, wearing shorts and a sports bra. “Your next GLUTE workout is sorted & it’s a tough one, so prepare your cheeks,” she writes, revealing the set. “Let’s get crush it!!” How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care and what exercises does Anita do to build her backisde? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Her Journey to the Gym

“About three years ago, my husband encouraged me to go to the gym for the very first time in my life. At that time, we started training together. It took some time, but he eventually turned me on to eating healthy and weightlifting. As I began to educate myself about clean eating and training, I became very interested in this new lifestyle. I loved the way training made me feel, and I also loved seeing how my body was changing day by day. People at the gym started to take notice of how my body was changing too, and they told me that I should compete in a show. At first, I thought it was silly to even consider competing, but then I decided that I should give it a try! Before I knew it, I had five NPC overall wins in a row, and now I’m an IFBB Pro. I just got invited to the Arnold Classic for the first time, and I’m going to be on the Olympia stage in September,” she told Simply Shredded.

2. Motivated by the Mirror

“My biggest motivation is the mirror. I like to see how my body changes on a daily basis. To me, there is nothing more exciting than discovering a new striation or a new vein popping out on my body!” she told Simply Shredded. “I’m sure some might say that I am crazy, but this has become a lifestyle to me, and I love it! Of course, I have to admit that I like to eat yummy food too, but for me feeling healthy and looking ‘fit’ is far more satisfying than eating a slice of pizza. My life is all about balance, and I can still have a slice of pizza every now and then if I want too, but it just doesn’t interest me as much as it used to.”

3. Switching Up Her Workouts

Anita mixes up her routine. “I switch up my training every once in a while, so it doesn’t get boring. I also like to do aerobic classes and outdoor boot camps too! And on Sunday which is my rest day, I still like to do some form of cardio,” she says.

4. Her Top 3 Exercises

Here are Anita’s top 3 exercises:

  1. Squats: “Squats are great because my booty can never be big enough,” she says.
  2. Hanging Leg Raises: “I love abs and hanging leg raises seem to work the best for me. Plus living in Miami, Florida, I always have to be bikini ready!” she jokes.
  3. Lateral Raises: “I love training my shoulders with lateral raises because I love to feel the burn in my shoulders,” she explains.

5. Two Diets

Healthy,Diet,Plan,For,Weight,Loss,,Daily,Ready,Meal,Menu.Shutterstock

Anita has two diets that she stays “very consistent with,” she tells Simply Shredded. “One diet I use for my off season and the other diet I use for preparing for a competition. When I’m prepping for a competition, my diet is very strict. I consume six meals a day; I measure everything, and I absolutely have no cheats! My protein sources primarily come from chicken, fish and eggs. My carbs consist of oats, quinoa, brown rice and sweet potato. I also love all kinds of vegetables, and I incorporate them into my diet as well. During my prep, I also limit my sodium intake, and I drink one to two gallons of water per day. Off season my diet is more flexible, but I still try to eat five to six meals a day. But in off season, I am able to include one to two cheat meals a week.”

6. Here Is Her Glute Workout

Superset: 3 sets

  • SM bench assisted kickbacks
  • Hip banded good mornings
  • BB sumo deadlift - 3 x 10

Superset: 3 sets of

  • BB triple contraction hip thrust - 5 reps

  • DB Bulgarian split squat - 10 each side

Cydney Moreau is a fitness influencer and new mom who is easing back into her workout routine after giving birth. In a recent Instagram video, Moreau showed off her impressive kettlebell workout, wearing black spandex shorts and a cropped black tee, while sharing how she’s returning to her fitness regimen. Moreau has been open about staying active during and after pregnancy, incorporating pregnancy-safe workouts and Pilates into her routine. Now, she’s focusing on light weights and kettlebell exercises to regain her strength. As a busy mom, she’s mastered the art of multitasking, even squeezing in workouts in between daily tasks. Beyond the gym, Moreau loves outdoor activities like playing basketball, keeping her active lifestyle varied and engaging.

1. Kettlebell Workouts

Moreau is showing fans how she’s returning to her schedule after recently having a baby. Wearing black spandex workout shorts and a tight black cropped tee, the new mom showed off her kettlebell workout in an Instagram video with the caption, “Finally back to my regular workout routine. Kettlebell exercises can target many different muscles and be a full-body workout. “Kettlebell training provides a low-impact, full-body workout that strengthens muscles and improves cardiovascular health,” according to Shape.

2. She Uses Light Weights

Wearing a barely there red bikini, Moreau worked out using light weights and captioned her post, “Multitasking as a momma." According to Prevention, using light weights has the following benefits:

-Lowering body fat. “With consistent light lifting, your body will look leaner and more toned, and your clothes will fit better.”

-Preserving muscle mass. “Light lifting can slow the decline.”

-Improve bone density. “Using weights encourages cells to form new bone to offset age-related declines in bone mineral density.”

3. She Did Pregnancy Safe Workouts

Cydney Moreau.3Cydney Moreau/Instagram

Throughout her pregnancy, the influencer did pregnancy-safe workouts and shared a video of them and a 21-day challenge she completed. “I am 39 weeks pregnant and using the @bodi app for my everyday workouts. The Bodi app is perfect because I can just open up my phone and do a work out wherever I am. I am able to modify the workouts and make sure I stay on track. Let me know if you guys try this work out!”

4. She Does Pilates

Wearing a cute pastel-colored dress with shorts underneath, Moreau showed off her Pilates skills. Pilates is a fitness trend that’s here to stay and one that should not be ignored. According to the Cleveland Clinic, Pilates has several health benefits, including improved muscle tone, flexibility and strength, pain relief, better posture, and balance and coordination. “The nearly century-old practice of Pilates provides a low-impact, full-body workout that could be a great addition to a well-balanced exercise program,” the site stated. “While the research on the health benefits of Pilates isn’t definitive, it suggests Pilates can positively impact your physical and mental health.”

5. She Plays Basketball

In addition to hitting the gym, Moreau enjoys being active outside and playing basketball. Over 450 million people worldwide play basketball, making it one of the most popular sports. Besides burning calories, it’s also a great cardio workout for your heart. According to StyleCraze, “Basketball is one of the best exercises for heart health! Because you keep moving, your heart rate increases. It also helps in building endurance, which is important when you want to make sure that your heart is healthy. It will help lower the risk of stroke and heart disease later in your life.”

Kristin Holte is a professional CrossFit athlete. She shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. Holte recently shared a lower body workout on her page. In it, she is seen doing squats, lunges, push-ups, and sit-ups. Holte captioned the post, “A little spicy treat for you to kick off 2025🎆”

She Does Squats

Holte is seen doing two different kinds of squats in her Instagram video. Squats have a lot of health benefits. Allina Health states, “The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong.”

She Does Lunges

Kristin Holte does lunges.

Kristin Holte/Instagram

Holte is seen doing two kinds of lunges in her Instagram post. The Mayo Clinic states that lunges have a lot of benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Push-Ups

Kristin Holte is pictured doing a set of push-ups.

Kristin Holte/Instagram

Holte is seen doing push-ups in her Instagram video. This exercise has a lot of health benefits. Harvard Health reports, “The push-up engages your body from top to bottom. It works several muscle groups at once: the arms, chest, abdomen (core), hips, and legs. Push-ups also can be modified as needed…A study published in the February 2016 issue of the Journal of Physical Therapy Science found that the chest muscle activity was greater when push-ups were performed with the hands placed halfway inward from their normal position. Hands placed outward work the triceps more.”

She Does Sit-Ups

Kristin Holte does sit-ups.

Kristin Holte/Instagram

Holte is seen doing sit-ups in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, these are very beneficial. “Sit ups are great for tightening your core. They strengthen and tone your rectus abdominus, transverse abdominus and oblique abdominal muscles as well as your neck muscles. The American College of Sports Medicine recommends three sets of 8 to 12 repetitions three times per week.”

She Doesn't Give Up

Holte is all about never giving up. She talked about having this attitude at her first CrossFit games competition in this Instagram post’s caption. “10 years ago I qualified for my first @crossfitgames in Carson, CA. During the workout ‘Triple 3’ I made a decision that I believe has been a defining moment of my career. After 3k Row and 300 Double Unders we started the 3 mile run and it early became clear that this would be a battle between @atunnicliffetobias and myself. It was incredibly hot and really hard to follow Anna, cause she was running FAST. When we turned the last corner (about 400 m from the finish) I was so tired, my whole body hurt and Anna increased the pace drastically. I debated to just give up and let her win without a fight. I told myself that second was still a good placement in an event at my first CrossFit Games appearance. Then I remembered what I promised myself before Games: make yourself proud! So I chose to not give up, I chose to stay in the fight and finish strong with the mantra from @crossfitinvictus ‘Full effort is full victory’ 🏆”

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.
