Alexis Ren is doing yoga – in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the influencer shows off her amazing body in a two-piece exercise set during a RVCA yoga session. “Been so excited for this,” she captioned the Instagram stories, loving the Costa Mesa, California–based clothing company owned by Authentic Brands Group. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle tips.

1. Dance

Alexis loves to dance. “Ballet has been so many things for me. It’s been heaven and an escape. Hell and a prison. Through hours of pouring sweat and soul onto the dance floor, I have found a work ethic and a determination I wouldn’t trade for the world. The ability to look resistance square in the eyes and keep going,” she says. Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

2. Play Tennis

Alexis is a fan of tennis tennis – and the cardio-meets-aerobic workout is great for your health, says ACE Fitness. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.

3. Write in Your Journal

Alexis prioritizes her mental health and self-care. “In the mornings, I journal,” Alexis told Grazia. “I think journaling is one of the most important things to build into your morning routine. Journaling is an important tool because the days and years pass by so quickly, but journaling stays forever. Looking back, you get to see yourself grow in your writing. When I look back on my journals from even five years ago, it makes me proud to see how much I’ve grown and evolved.”

4. Get Enough Sleep

Alexis Ren.1Alexis Ren/Instagram

Alexis makes sure to get plenty of sleep. “My bedtime varies, although lately, it’s been around 11:30 pm,” she told Grazia. “The time I wake up varies by the day, but if I have a few days off, I try to let myself sleep in (which means 9 am latest). I like to listen to my body and tune in to what it’s telling me, even if that means waking up at 6 am daily, or 9 am from time to time. As of lately, I feel more creative towards the evening, so I have been staying up a little later to work on projects and brainstorm.” What are the health benefits of sleep? According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z’s is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss.

5. Go Surfing

“I love surfing,” Alexis told Grazia. “Lots and lots of practice,” she captioned a recent post. According to the Australian government’s Better Health, surfing provides many health benefits including cardiovascular fitness from paddling, shoulder and back strength, which also strengthens from the paddling, and leg and core strength. “Once you’re standing up on the board, strong legs and a strong core will keep you up,” they say.

6. Do Pilates

Alexis Ren.2Alexis Ren/Instagram

Alexis enjoys pilates, which “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health,” says the Mayo Clinic. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Alissa Violet is a successful influencer and YouTuber. She also has a large following on Instagram. In September, she shared a carousel post of her recent life updates on her account. In the post, Violet is seen spending time with her dogs, hiking, and going to a fitness class. She captioned it, “September.”

She Hikes

Violet is seen hiking in her Instagram post. Harvard Health states that hiking has a lot of benefits. “‘Navigating a winding, wooded trail can help your body build endurance, strength, and coordination,’ says Dr. Edward Phillips, assistant professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School. ‘Hiking over uneven terrain requires more energy than walking on a level surface, so it burns more calories. If you are hiking uphill, your body has to work even harder,’ he says. A rigorous hike may offer many of the same physical benefits as interval training, which alternates low- and high-intensity exercise to increase cardiovascular fitness. During a hike, your heart rate goes up as you move up an incline and drops when you head downhill.”

She Swims

Violet also likes to swim to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself in a pool. Violet captioned the post, “It’s giving nirvana.” Harvard Health states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Relatively few people swim on a regular basis, so large studies looking at the benefits of physical activity in relation to cardiovascular health have tended to lump swimming together with other types of exercise. Plenty of evidence points to lower rates of heart disease among people who do regular, moderate- to vigorous-intensity exercise — and swimming laps definitely fits the bill.”

She Goes To Fitness Classes

Violet shared this video on YouTube of some of her favorite workouts. In it, she is seen in a fitness class. According to Iowa State University, group exercise has a lot of benefits. “The highest quality or type of motivation is called intrinsic motivation – you’re doing something because the behavior itself is enjoyable, satisfying or both. If you enjoy exercise and not just the positive feelings you get after you’ve worked out, you are more likely to stick with it. Exercising with other people can supply that enjoyment, even if the activity itself is difficult or otherwise not something you love. Group exercise can turn working out into a fun social activity, which could lead to you continuing to do it.”

She Uses A Treadmill

Alissa Violet jigs on a treadmill.

Alissa Violet/Instagram

In her YouTube video, Violet is seen on the treadmill. Harvard Health states that doing this has a lot of health benefits. "While treadmills may seem boring, they can offer a good alternative for exercise, depending on how you use them," says Dr. Adam Tenforde, with the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard-affiliated Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. "There is so much more to treadmills than just 'push the button and start walking.' They also can be helpful for people recovering from an injury or surgery, since you can control the speed and intensity, and they are equipped with handrails for added support when needed.”

She Stretches

Alissa Violet is seen stretching.

Alissa Violet/Instagram

Violet is also seen stretching in her YouTube video. Stretching is very important. Harvard Health states, “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

Natalie Jayne Roser is showing off her baby bump – in two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the swimwear model flaunts her growing belly in an Alo exercise set in a mirror selfie taken at the Pilates studio. “wow wow great 💚💕💛💚💕💛,” commented one of her followers. “Beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Her Morning Routine

Natalie revealed her morning routine to Women’s Fitness. “A latte and breakfast first thing! My first meal of the day is very important to me to set me up for a day of nutritious, mindful eating. I also love waking up and not checking my phone for the first 30 minutes to 1 hour. This allows me to start the day at a better pace and not dive into emails right on 7am,” she said.

Strength Training and Running

She also does strength training and cardio. “I do like to mix that up with weights circuits, running and just solo gym time. I love a class or PT session to hold me accountable and it also helps hold my interest as I can change up my workouts frequently for a challenge,” she said.

Protein and Carbs

When it comes to diet, Natalie tries not to be too strict. “I love my food. I’ve tried so many diets over the years to test myself and my body and see how I feel on each. I’ve never been a restricted eater, but these diets that I’ve tried have taught me what foods my body loves and what food my body struggles with,” she says. “I am a protein and carbs girl, and my body doesn’t seem to handle excess amounts of good fats (thank you keto for teaching me this). So, I know that if I predominantly eat a high protein diet and satisfy my carb cravings, I’ll feel strong, full and be getting the foods that I crave.”

Long Walks

One of her self-care strategies for mental health? “I love long walks with my husband where we just bounce off each other and share everything. We both find that our minds free up as we’re walking. Whether we’re releasing creative ideas or talking through something ‘bad’ that’s happened that day, walking and talking seems to help the conversation flow. I find that sharing my thoughts like this, whether they be good or bad, helps clear my headspace and get a good, healthy perspective on my life and the things that are happening around me,” she says.

Pilates

What is Natalie’s go-to form of exercise? “I’m enjoying my reformer Pilates as my main workout,” she told the publication.

Ashlyn Little is a professional bodybuilder. She competes in the IFBB. Last month, she hit the gym, and shared a stunning post on Instagram. In it, Little showed off her figure as she posed in workout clothes. She also did squats with a machine. She captioned the post, “Just a small girl with a ant 🐜 booty hard at work 👀😂”

She Works Hard

Little talked about the importance of working hard in the caption of this Instagram post. “This shape wasn’t built in a month or a few months or a year or a few years. BUT 10 YEARS… 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 my shape has never looked like this and I started my fitness journey in 2014 😳 When I started I never put a time line on how long until I achieved a certain physique. I just told myself as long as I’m able to go to the gym and train and eat healthy that’s what I decided I was going to do. I never turned back and I never got upset for how long it took cause I knew the muscle would come eventually as long as I kept going. Here we are now 10 years later and am I happy with my progress and what I see? YES!! But I’m never satisfied and for that I keep working 😤 Each year I get a little bit better and I learn a lot more! There is NO time line for me. I just love building my physique and I love this lifestyle so for all I care the growth can be slow or fast.”

She Has Support

Little has a lot of support that helps keep her in shape. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Hardest thing in prep for me is prep goggles hands down. Seeing one thing when others see something completely different. Constantly thinking ‘am I even going to be good enough?’ During these moments I always lean on my support system to keep my eyes and mind in check. The best advice I can give is to take the thinking out of it completely & never compare yourself to anyone but you. Don’t let the mind wonder. Just do your job and follow the plan. It’s your coaches job to tell you if you’re not on point or where you’re supposed to be. I’ve worked hard on this aspect of prep this year. Not questioning just following my coaches lead. Don’t allow your thoughts to consume your mind and sabotage your prep. I’m thankful for my support system and my coach heading into the biggest show of the year. No worries, no stress, no fears. Just a lot of hard work, following the plan and keeping my mind on the daily tasks at hand AND THATS IT 💯🙏🏼🤍”

She Lifts Weights

Little shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. In it, she is seen using a barbell and weights. Little captioned the post, “Glutes and hammies my first workout back home post show 🍑 it was so nice to be able to enjoy some time off with my loved ones 🥹🙏🏼 and getting back to work this week has felt so good!!! Love that refreshing feeling of a first workout back 🔥 @ccash15_ifbbpro.”

She Does Squats

Ashlyn Little doing squats at the gym.

Ashlyn Little/Instagram

Little is seen doing squats in the previous Instagram post and the post from a month ago. Squats have a lot of benefits. Allina Health states, “The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong.”

She Does Lunges

In her lower body workout Instagram post, Little is seen doing lunges to keep herself in shape. Lunges have a lot of benefits. ACE Fitness states, “They’re a form of unilateral training, which means you’re working only one limb or side of the body at a time. And unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side.”

YES, PLEASE 🤤 This super easy Pumpkin Baked Oatmeal is the perfect high-protein, make-ahead breakfast for those busy mornings!📝 Ingredients: ▪️2 ¾ cups oats ▪️ 1-2 scoops of protein powder (I love @onesthealth ‘s collagen-infused Vanilla Whey—easy to digest and tastes amazing! 2. She Has Recovery Days

Herbert makes sure to prioritize her recovery days. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Your reminder to don’t skip your recovery days 🙂‍↕️Up until a few years ago, you would NEVER catch me taking a day off. I thought that hammering my body would lead to faster progress—boy, was I wrong! 🫠 I was overtraining; my body was always achy and fatigued, my progress had stalled, and I felt less motivated to train because I never gave myself a day off. Now, I prioritize 1-2 recovery days each week, usually one on Sundays, where I do not touch weights and only focus on recovery and mobility work. This gives both my mind and body time to recover between sessions.🤍”

3. She Strength Trains

Herbert does a lot of strength training to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing strength training upper body workouts. Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker.
