Yuliia Levchenko, a Ukrainian high jump star, has been a force in track and field since her teenage years, with notable wins like her gold at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games. Recently, she gave fans a glimpse into her fitness routine by sharing a video of a hurdle drill on Instagram. From hitting the padel court to eating a balanced diet, Levchenko maintains her athletic edge. In an interview with Oh Lala Magazine, she emphasized the importance of healthy eating, hard training, and personal growth. Her active lifestyle also includes hiking and weight training, with squats being one of her go-to exercises for building strength and endurance.

1. She Plays Padel

In this Instagram video, Levchenko is seen hitting the padel course. The sport has a lot of health benefits. LTA states, “It’s a full-body workout that keeps you moving from beginning to end – helping to improve your endurance, cardiovascular health and prevent health risk factors in the future. It involves plenty of running, movement from side-to-side and quick changes of direction and will help you build your speed and strength. Like tennis, while improving your overall aerobic fitness so you can run for longer, padel also helps you build muscle with short and explosive movements to benefit your anaerobic fitness.”

2. She Eats Healthy

Yuliia Levchenko.3Yuliia Levchenko/Instagram

Levchenko makes sure to eat healthy. She talked about this in an interview with Oh Lala Magazine. “Sportsmen need to have a good diet and it is important to keep the balance. It is all about the different types of food that you have to eat – sometimes you even have to eat chocolates because we burn a lot of calories in our profession and we need to keep that balance too. Fitness isn’t a professional sport; fitness is a special diet and training. I believe it is a hobby but, for professional sportsmen, it’s your life. It isn’t as difficult for me because I just need to know what calorie intake is normal for me so I can keep my portions balanced. I know my normal weight and I try to stay within the same range.”

3. She Wants To Improve

Levchenko talked about her desires to improve in her Oh Lala Magazine interview. “I want to continue my work and keep getting better. I want to train hard and achieve even more goals. My friends and family only support me, they help me stay humble and I feel like I haven’t had any success. For our parents, I feel like we’re always the best, irrespective of how high I jump, they’re always telling me they’re proud of me. Support is a big part of sports!”

4. She Hikes

Levchenko loves to go for hikes to stay in shape. She shared this set of photos of herself on a hike in the desert on Instagram. The Cleveland Clinic states that hiking has a lot of benefits, including helping people with their sleep. “If you struggle to get a good night’s sleep, then a hike might be beneficial. Exposure to vitamin D can help control your wake-sleep cycle. And being outside and exercising will also raise your body’s temperature, so when your internal temperature goes back down, it can lull you into sleep.”

5. She Does Squats

Levchenko shared this video on Instagram of herself doing squats with a barbell. Piedmont states that this exercise has a lot of benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do…Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

Beyond her beauty rituals, Romanchuk stays committed to her athletic training. Whether swimming to improve endurance, hiking scenic landscapes with her husband, or hitting the treadmill, she keeps her body in peak condition. Her dedication to both her sport and self-care highlights a balanced approach to maintaining physical and mental well-being as she continues to compete at the highest level.

1. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

As you can see in her Instagram post, Romanchuk makes sure to take care of her skin. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram video. “Always taking care of the body🤍 Especially in the sun and after the pool, it is important to moisturize and protect your skin from harmful factors, that's why my favorite body lotion helps me @trihard.ua. I’m not the first one to tell & show it to you anymore, because it’s truly a find🫶🏼”

2. She Swims

Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk.2Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk/Instagram

In her previous Instagram video, Romanchuk is seen swimming in a pool. Better Health states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is a good all-round activity because it: keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off your body, builds endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness, helps you maintain a healthy weight, healthy heart and lungs, tones muscles and builds strength, provides an all-over body workout, as nearly all of your muscles are used during swimming.”

3. She Hikes

Romanchuk likes to hike to stay fit. She sometimes likes to hike with her husband. Romanchuk shared these highlights of a hike the two of them took on her Instagram. She captioned the post, “Another height in kopiločku city. Bruise 1665m Oh, Ukrainian Carpathians these landscapes are breathtaking and once again conquer my heart ♥️”

4. She Runs

Romanchuk shared some of her favorite workouts in this Instagram video. In it, she is seen on a treadmill and running up the stairs. Running has a lot of health benefits. FloTrack says, “Running and jogging is an aerobic exercise, and you’re working out both your heart and lungs while doing so. This will also lead to a lower resting heart rate, lower bad cholesterol in your blood and lower blood pressure. You don’t need to run an obscene amount of miles every day to get these benefits, either. Those who just run a couple of minutes a day decrease their risk of cardiovascular death by 58 percent. If you have a hard time running, you can still give your heart a workout by jogging or walking.”

5. She Lifts Weights

Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk.5Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk/Instagram

In the previous Instagram video, Romanchuk is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Femke Bol is a phenomenal track and field athlete, celebrated for her Olympic success. At the 2024 Olympics, she won gold in the 4x400 mixed relay, silver in the 4x400 relay, and bronze in the 400-meter hurdles, adding to her bronze from the 2020 Olympics. Recently, she shared a series of workout photos on Instagram, captioned, “Running, hurdles, smiles, sore muscles, all is good 🥰.” Here’s how Bol stays at the top of her game.

1. She Runs

Bol is seen running in her Instagram post. Running has a lot of health benefits. According to FloTrack, running is a great way to burn calories. “Just like other forms of exercise, running burns calories while working out. The additional perk about running, though, is you can continue to burn calories even after you stop. The ‘afterburn’ continues to burn calories after your run.”

2. She Lifts Weights

Bol shared this video on Instagram of herself working out in the gym. In it, she is seen weightlifting. ACE Fitness states that using weights has a lot of benefits. “Using heavy weights increases intramuscular coordination, the number of type II motor units and the amount of muscle fibers engaged within a specific muscle. Have you ever felt your muscles shaking while lifting heavy weights? This is because you are recruiting and activating the larger type II muscle fibers, which are only stimulated to work when a muscle is challenged with heavy resistance or working to fatigue.”

3. She Works With A Trainer

Bol’s trainer, Laurent Mowley, talked about her training in an interview with Athletics Weekly. “Progressively we pushed her stride a bit more and changed to having a more cruising way of running the first 200m, with longer strides. It’s about a 12cm difference in stride length. And then to change after seven hurdles to go to 15 – that was something completely different to what she has been used to. But, very quickly, she realised in training that this was the direction to go in.”

4. She Does Hip Thrusts

Femke Bol.4Femke Bol/Instagram

In the second blurb’s Instagram link, Bol is seen doing hip thrusts to keep herself in shape. Gymless states that since hip thrusts are a glute workout, they have a lot of benefits. “Strong glutes are not only for aesthetic appeal; they serve a key functional purpose in supporting the posterior chain of muscles around the spine. Hip thrusts are also known for their capacity to develop and define glute muscles, contributing to their popularity on social media. After all, who doesn’t appreciate the look of a well-crafted pair of glutes?”

5. She Does Squats

Femke Bol.5Femke Bol/Instagram

Bol is also seen doing squats in the Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats have a lot of benefits. “Proper squatting form requires you to reaaaaally engage your core — the muscles of your stomach, pelvis, hips and lower back. These large muscle groups support every move you make, both large and small, so keeping them strong helps keep you well. Strong core muscles play a role in: Maintaining good posture. Relieving back pain. Lowering your risk of injuries like hip flexor strains and sports hernias.”

In one of her latest social media posts the track and field star flaunts her fit figure in a black one-piece during a day on the water. “It was a buzzing day, and any other words here would be superfluous,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does the champion athlete maintain her fit figure? Here are 5 ways she stays in shape.

1. She Runs

As a top long jumper, running fast is a prerequisite, so it is one of many ways Maryna trains for her job. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

2. She Jumps

Romanchuk also swears by a hurdle jumping workout. She recently shared this video on Instagram of herself jumping over hurdles with her legs together. "My first hurdles jump. What do you think about?” she said. She also jumps on high boxes. Both are great for working her glutes and legs.

3. She Does Ab Work

Maryna does a lot of ab work to keep her midsection tight. “Gym exercises for ABS and stability,” she captioned a video of her workout. “With this exercise routine, my tummy is happy.”

4. She Skis

Romanchuk also skis. "At least once in a lifetime, it's worth visiting, you find yourself in an incredibly amazing fairy tale.✨ I felt like magic around me and I couldn't get enough of the beauty around me,” she captioned a video. Research has linked downhill skiing to a number of health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress and the occurrence of memory deficits declines.

5. She Paddleboards

In this recent Instagram post, Maryna is paddleboarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and also a great form of cardio. The water sport can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140 pound male and 436 for a female the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

4. She Does Planks

It’s hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston is 55 and turning 56 in February! Since soaring to fame in 1994, the Friends star has hardly aged in the three decades that have passed – and she has never been secretive about her devotion to health and wellness. Her hard work over the years has paid off through her strong and lean body and ageless looks. Here is everything you need to know about Jennifer Aniston’s approach to longevity.

She Maintains a High Protein Diet

"My nutrition is very much the same. It's usually a lot of high protein, vegetables, salads, soups,” she tells People. “I do 80/20. I give myself days where I can have whatever I want. I don’t deprive myself,” she added to TODAY. Why should you consider amping up your protein intake? According to clinical trials, consuming more protein than the recommended dietary allowance not only reduces body weight (BW) but also enhances body composition by decreasing fat mass while preserving fat-free mass (FFM) in both low-calorie and standard-calorie diets.

She Cheats on Occasion

Jennifer allows herself to indulge in “everything I would possibly want on a weekend,” she told People. Her cheat meal “depends,” she says. “I mean, dare I sound repetitive, but Mexican food is a real favorite of mine. It's not even that much of a cheat, to be honest. Or a cheeseburger or pizza or pasta — all that stuff.”

“My bigger challenge is sleep. I think that’s all part of our nutritional hygiene — the amount of water we get as well as the amount of sleep we get. It’s the combination of all of those things that make your workouts the most effective," she told TODAY.

“I’ve become gentler with myself,” she says of her approach to fitness, which has “definitely evolved” over the years. “I find that I can be gentler on my body and still get the benefits of a great workout,” she told Prevention. She specifically loves P.Volve workouts, a functional fitness that helps you “function throughout the day” and “work out your essential muscle groups to keep your body strong,” she says. “So you can live a long, healthy, strong life.”

She Hydrates

Aniston prioritizes hydration, drinking a whopping 100 ounces of water per day. "But occasionally I just have to have a Diet Coke—there's nothing like it!" According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

She Does Pilates, Spinning, Elliptical, and Running Workouts

“I had an injury last fall and I was only able to do Pilates, which I absolutely love. But I was missing that kind of sweat when you just go for it,” she recently told InStyle. “I'm going back to my 15-15-15, which is a 15-minute spin, elliptical, run. And then just old school: I can chase myself around a gym. I need some kind of movement, even if it's just 10 minutes a day on a trampoline.”
