Trinity Rodman In Workout Gear Says "You Know What Time It Is"
Soccer star Trinity Rodman is preparing for a big game and sharing her excitement with social media fans and followers. Rodman, 22, shared a picture of herself wearing a black Adidas zip-up and green Nike shorts, ready for the game. "You already know what time it is 😤 QUARTERFINAL! ❤️🔥🤩," she captioned the post. Rodman is the daughter of NBA star Dennis Rodman and Michelle Moyer and is making a name that's all her own—here's how she does it.
Pregame Outfit
Rodman is very picky about her pregame outfit. "It's something so little, but I think it's something that really gets me ready for a game," she told WTOP. "Like, if I find an outfit that I just think screams 'Trin,' I'm gonna feel confident walking in, and I feel confident putting my jersey on, and I'm gonna feel confidant as soon as the game starts, so that's a huge thing for me."
Washington Spirit Fanbase
Rodman loves playing for the Washington Spirit team. "D.C. is such an intense and such a die-hard fan base, and I love it so much," she told WTOP. "The results and the performances that we've been giving them, I think, is another reason that they want to come and people spread the word and [are] bringing their kids, too."
Role Model
Rodman says her mother Michelle Moyer is her role model. "Having a dad like I do, no one asks about my mom because she's obviously not an NBA star, but I just want people to know that my mom's been my support system in everything in life and she's my best friend and my rock," she told The Guardian. "I don't think people know how close we are and, even though she wasn't in the NBA, she has an extremely competitive and driven mindset, and she's an extremely strong woman. She's my role model."
Rodman Style
Rodman is excited about developing her own style of play. "I want to be funky on the ball and do weird tricks and be deceptive," she told The Guardian. "I want people to be able to see Trinity Rodman as somebody who is unpredictable on the ball and who they'll never know what she's going to do. The biggest goal for me is just working on myself and having a driven mindset moving forward. I want to get faster. I want to get stronger. I want to get smarter. I want to get more skilled on the field."
Building Her Own Story
Rodman is proud to step out of her famous father's shadow. "People do know Trinity Rodman sometimes before Dennis Rodman now," she told ESPN. "That's a cool thing for me. I'm not trying to overcome what he accomplished, I just want to build my own story, and I think I'm doing a really good job."
