Holly Holm is rowing on her TRX system in her workout gear. In a new social media post the UFC champ shows off her amazing body while demonstrating one of her go-to exercises while wearing a sports bra and shorts. “A little twist on the TRX row @teamturningpoint . Give it a go:) and have a happy Wednesday,” she captioned the Instagram video. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. Hardcore Training

Holm is serious about fitness, especially before a fight. She detailed a trypiucal training week to Muscle & Fitness. “Monday through Friday every morning we have class and it’s intense. They’re pretty hardcore workouts. Monday there’s MMA sparring, Tuesday is sparring, Wednesday is wrestling, Thursday is MMA day, Friday is wrestling,” she said. “I do mitt work three to four times a week. I go back to either jujitsu or wrestling at night Monday through Thursday. I’m working out about four and five hours a day depending [on my schedule]. Sometimes it’s more drilling; sometimes it’s going hard. I usually am doing at least two to three hard workouts and the rest of the time it’s technical drilling.”

2. Running

Holly also does a lot of running. “Saturday I do sprint runs. So that’s just the morning. Other than that I run five days a week with Saturday’s sprint run being one of them. Monday through Friday four out of the five days I’m running distance as well,” she told Muscle & Fitness. “Saturday I just run. The other runs I’m going slowly. I’m not training to be a runner; I’m training to be a fighter. When I sprint run I go as hard as I can. When I do distance runs I don’t care how fast I go. I do it to keep moving, keep the weight coming down and just kinda cruise.”

3. Hearty and Healthy Diet

Holm eats three main meals and a snack each day, she told Strong Fitness. Breakfast will be a coffee with MCT oil and butter, and protein and also eggs, a protein shake, protein bar, chicken or beef with some almond butter. She might also make a mixture of “coconut milk, chia seeds, hemp seeds and flax seeds to eat as well.” For lunch she will make a chicken breast salad with light dressing and nuts, as well as some berries. A protein bar serves as a mid-afternoon snack. For her dinner she will eat protein (beef patty, lean pork loin, grilled fish or grilled chicken) with some sides like salad, asparagus or brussel sprouts or some sweet potato baked in olive oil.

4. Arm Workout

How does she achieve her sculpted arms? “I do some strength training but most of what I do as far as arms is bodyweight. I’ll do pull-ups, pushups and dips. Of course with fighting, we’re constantly using our arms punching. In the clench you’re wrestling around with other people so they’re constantly being worked. I don’t ever use really heavy weights with my arms,” she said.

5. Her Fight Day Food

Bulletproof,Coffee,,Blended,With,Organic,Grass,Fed,Butter,And,MctShutterstock

What does she eat and drink on the day of a fight? “A light protein, maybe fish or chicken. I always have sweet potatoes. I might have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I might have trail mix. I like to have light proteins and good carbs. I might have some fruits. I don’t want to only do fruit because the sugar doesn’t last with you as long. I feel good when I have a good sweet potato, and nut butters and honey. I snack on stuff the whole time I’m in the locker room. I don’t want to be too full and have too much at one time, so I’ll eat little bites here and there, all the way up until about 30 to 45 minutes before the fight. [On a regular day] I eat about 30 to 45 minutes before I go to the gym and I feel like it’s pretty similar [to what I eat on a fight day]. Keeping the same kind of clean foods,” she said.

Amanda Tress is a very successful fitness trainer. She recently announced her new 2025 program on Instagram. Tress captioned the post, “Did someone say ADVANCED workouts for 2025?! For those of you who are straight up ATHLETES because you have been crushing the FWTFL for years… we will have an ADVANCED workout track for you starting January 6! It’s about to get 👑🔥🚀”

She Does Burpees

Tress shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. As a part of her 12 Days of Fitmas series, she shared a different workout each day on her page. In this video, Tress is seen doing burpees. The Cleveland Clinic states that burpees have a lot of benefits. “Burpees are brutally efficient as a workout tool, meshing cardio and strength training into an extremely high-intensity package. In seven simple movements, the exercise works your body from top to bottom. It’s a continuous-movement activity that uses the full musculature of your body, says exercise physiologist Griffin Nykor, RKin, CPT.”

She Does Squats

Another exercise Tress did in her 12 Days of Fitmas series is squats. According to Piedmont, squats have a lot of benefits. “Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back. A squat has more overall benefits than, say, a bicep curl, which strengthens an isolated area.”

She Doesn't't Weigh Herself

In the caption of this Instagram post, Tress revealed that she doesn’t weigh herself or own a scale. “Why I don’t own a scale. I threw away my scale over a decade ago and I don’t often talk about why. I even banned ‘weigh ins’ through the FASTer Way when I first launched it because I feel so strongly that daily weigh-ins are not a good representation of progress and, in fact, can be a de-motivator. Over time, I’ve learned that true wellness isn’t found in numbers on a scale. Instead, I track my health and fitness through things that actually matter to me: 💪🏻Getting stronger in my lifts and seeing muscle definition develop 👕 How my clothes fit and feel ⚡ My daily energy levels 😴 Quality of sleep 🧘♀️ How my body feels - no bloating, moving well. Daily weigh-ins used to be demotivating and didn’t reflect the real progress I was making in strength and overall health. Plus the scale can’t measure confidence, strength, or how great it feels to crush a workout.”

She Does Deadlifts

Tress likes to do deadlifts to keep herself in shape. She is seen doing them in this workout video on Instagram. Tress captioned it, “I tweaked my back doing deadlifts 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 We shall see how this pans out trying to lug 5 kids around this weekend. 😝 I worked around it and still got in a great workout. Comment YES below if you crushed leg day!!!”

She Does Lunges

Tress shared some more of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video with a friend. One exercise she is seen doing in it is lunges. Tress captioned the post, “Comment YES below if you crushed leg day!! Oh my word. My legs are smoked. 🙌🏻👑🎄PS Emma is the best workout buddy and she’s getting so strong.”

1. She Does A Different Class Each Day

Holm says that she specifically likes to do classes. “Monday through Friday every morning, we have class,” she says. “And it’s intense. They’re pretty hardcore workouts. Monday there’s MMA sparring, Tuesday is sparring, Wednesday is wrestling, Thursday is MMA day, Friday is wrestling, and Saturday I do sprint runs.”

2. She Runs

I do it to keep moving, keep the weight coming down and just kinda cruise.”

3. She Alternates Between Drills & Intense Workouts

Holm does two types of workouts: intense training and drills. She tells Muscle and Fitness that she likes to alternate. “I do mitt work three to four times a week. I go back to either jujitsu or wrestling at night Monday through Thursday. I’m working out about four and five hours a day depending [on my schedule]. Sometimes it’s more drilling; sometimes it’s going hard. I usually am doing at least two to three hard workouts, and the rest of the time, it’s technical drilling.”

4. She Works Out Her Arms

Holm has amazing arms, and she makes sure to do a lot of arm workouts. “I do some strength training, but most of what I do as far as arms is bodyweight,” she tells Muscle and Fitness. “I’ll do pull-ups, pushups and dips. Of course with fighting, we’re constantly using our arms punching. In the clench you’re wrestling around with other people so they’re constantly being worked. I don’t ever use really heavy weights with my arms.”

5. She Doesn’t Compare Fights

Holm opened up about how she approaches a fight to Strong Fitness Magazine. “Every fight is different, every fighter is different, every training camp is different. So I try not to compare because sometimes that could set you up for a mental breakdown if you’re thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, this isn’t going like it did before!’ I just try to take each day and learn from what I did wrong, try to retain what I did right, keep it one day at a time. Our whole training camp and how overwhelming it is can be too much to handle, so I just take it one day at a time.”

UFC Star Michelle Waterson-Gomez doesn’t need extra plates when she’s doing dips at the gym—something she makes fun of in an Instagram post. Waterson-Gomez, 38, shared a video of herself wearing black leggings and a gray t-shirt, doing an upper body workout with the text “When you got a built in weighted… 😅” written over the video. “It’s a struggle lol 😆,” she captioned the post. “Relatable 😅🫠,” a fan commented. Here’s how the MMA star trains, eats, and lives her fittest fighter life.

1. Drills, Boxing, and Tabata

Waterson-Gomez says when it comes to training, nothing is more important than drills. “I also like shadow boxing which is like fighting an imaginary opponent,” she told Women Fitness. “Shadow boxing allows you to fix your mistakes and make your movement smooth so that it becomes second nature. Doing bag work is also a good workout routine. It allows me to work on my power and footwork. One of my favorite things to do to improve my stamina are tabatas. 20 seconds high intensity, 10 seconds rest, seven times, then rest for one min in between sets. Do it three times. This is a very short but very effective way to build your explosive muscles.”

2. Training Diet

Grilled,Chilli,Chicken,With,Steamed,Broccoli,,Snow,Peas,,Green,BeansShutterstock

Waterson-Gomez is strict with her diet when she’s training to fight. “I stay very hydrated, and eat very clean,” she told Women Fitness. “I try to stay away from processed, fried foods. Towards the end of my camp I stick to leaner meats and lots of green veggies.”

3. Fighting Beauty

Waterson-Gomez refuses to be boxed in by stereotypes of what a fighter should look like. "When I talk to people that have no idea that I fight, their first thing they say is, "Really, you fight? You don't look like a fighter,'" she told PeopleStyle. “I'm like, 'Well, what are fighters supposed to look like?' Some of us like to wear makeup, the red lips, the sexy black dress [too]."

4. Shaped by Martial Arts

Waterson-Gomez says martial arts has shaped who she is today and she couldn’t be more grateful. “It gave me a voice when I was too afraid to speak,” she told Numéro Netherlands. “It gave me the courage to take action when I was petrified with fear. There have been so many times throughout my life when Ifelt lost or stuck, and I leaned on my training as a martial artist to help guide me. Martial arts taught me to be humble, patient, persistent and driven.”

5. Love For Julie Kedzie and Holly Holm

Waterson-Gomez is inspired by and has great respect for fellow fighters Julie Kedzie and Holly Holm. “These ladies inspire me in more ways than one,” she told Women Fitness. “Outside of being amazing people, they carry the spirit of true warriors and I have learned so much from them. I have sweat, bled, cried and celebrated with these two and I would do anything for them.”

Bianca Bustamante is revving up her engine in 2025 – in her workout gear. In a new social media post, the racecar driver reveals she is taking “the next major step” in her physical journey as a race driver “and I’ve set the target high!” she says in a new Instagram post, filled with video clips of herself lifting heavy weights at the gym. “Never been more motivated in my life, it’s not physically easy for a girl in this sport, but I’m super excited to take on this new challenge and the next big step on my racing journey,” she added. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here are her top lifestyle tips.

Lifting Weights

Bianca spends hours at the gym where she focuses on strength training along with endurance, cardio, reaction time, and reflexes. “You know, to be a driver, it’s a complete package. It takes strength. It takes mental fortitude. It takes reflexes, smart thinking, and survival skills,” she told MEGA Active. “Sometimes it's for the body, sometimes it's for the mind. Nothing more peaceful than early sessions,” she captioned an Instagram post of one of her sessions.

Double Down On Training

In her recent post, Bianca reveals that she working extra hard at the gym. “I’ve been working hard over the years to build a solid foundation, but in 2025, I’ll be working with @j_w_90 and I’m doubling down on my training. Increasing to two workouts a day not just on lifts but aerobic endurance, as well as a better focus on nutrition and rest, in order to raise the bar to compete in the higher formulas,” she said.

Fueling Your Body With Protein

Bianca makes sure to eat enough protein in order to build more muscle and stay as lean as possible to meet the weight requirement. “It’s been a really cool journey seeing my body develop and transform into this whole different person I never knew I could become,” she said. In her new post she added that she is meal prepping. “I’m soooo all in that im even learning how to cook & meal prep better than ever before,” she writes.

Taking Cold Plunges

As for recovery, cold plunging is part of Bianca’s training regime. Limited research supports the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increasing focus, improving sleep, and decreasing inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes post-sport recovery.

Working On Self-Esteem

Positive self-talk is also important. “Of course, I put a lot of pressure on myself, but in the end, I always tell myself that as long as I give my best and I learn from it, any mistake I make is valid,” Bianca explained. “I always try to repeat that to myself that I am valid. I’m here for a reason and there’s nothing I would rather do than be here.”

Brenda Perlaza is flaunting her fantastic figure in a tiny bikini. In a new social media post the influencer, who calls herself La Barbie Negra, looks flawless as she poses on the beach in a neon yellow swimsuit. “#viral,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Wow Wow,” one of her followers commented, while several others added fire emojis. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Jogging

Brenda enjoys jogging. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

Walking Her Dog

She also takes her dog on long walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Dancing

You can also find Brenda dancing to burn calories. Dancing is an excellent workout for many reasons. It builds strength and promotes flexibility, helps you lose weight, and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop or die from heart disease than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues

Swimming

Brenda spends a lot of time in her swimsuit so it isn’t surprising she loves to swim. According to the CDC, swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, multiple studies support the mental health benefits of swimming.

Hydration

Finally, Brenda hydrates, especially after a long workout or sun exposure. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Recently, Romani shared a video on Instagram, taking a refreshing dip in the pool with the caption, “Kisses from the 305.” But her fitness routine goes beyond just swimming. From her plant-based diet to her dedication to animal welfare, Romani’s habits reflect a balanced approach to wellness that keeps her looking and feeling her best. But that amount varies depending on your weight, speed and stroke.”

She's Vegan

Claudia Romani/Instagram

Romani is open about following a vegan diet. She shares a lot of posts on her Instagram story highlights of herself enjoying vegan foods. Romani makes sure to work out on a regular basis. She shares a lot of Instagram stories in her highlights of herself at the gym. The Mayo Clinic says that regular exercise is extremely important. “Exercise can help prevent excess weight gain or help you keep off lost weight. When you take part in physical activity, you burn calories. The more intense the activity, the more calories you burn. Romani has her own charity, Help Miami Cats. She talked about how she started this in the caption of this Instagram post. “❤️ Guys!!!! I have always loved cats and had many growing up. When I moved to Miami Beach I met a great calico named Chacha and learnt that cats were brought to the city by Mayor Lummus … against rodents. Cats rely on volunteers for their food and water and there’s a huge amount of them. There’s a city program to Spay and neuter with the wonderful @sobecats ladies and the feeding is made official by a City Sanctioned badge, yet new cats keep getting dumped daily sadly and there’s a never ending amount of work, emergencies and so on. I was on a feeding rotation but during the pandemic I was left alone caring for so many as people left town or couldn’t afford feeding anymore …I decided to start my own non profit @helpmiamicats . We feed close to 200 and when Batman got paralyzed took him and other special needs cats under my care … @stevensachs69 with the cat room and the amazing people involved devote their lives to these special souls … My life has changed a lot too … way less spare time, way more sweat and tears and lost the person I had by my side who had sadly other priorities … yet gained so much love from these lovely creatures !!! If you can please get involved in any way … follow @helpmiamicats , share, volunteer, adopt … donate … Only together we can make their world a better place !!! And yes … just me feeding the kitties and talking to them … 🤷🏻♀️👀😆❤️🙌”
