The Victoria’s Secret model, Candice Swanepoel, is originally from South Africa. On a video skipping through clips of Candice lifting weights and powering through her workouts captioned, “from Monday to Friday.. 😩😭😛,” she shows her massive Instagram following of 20M what it takes to maintain her fitness level. Here’s how she works on her health and strength consistently.


1. She Saunas

Using a sauna as part of your health and wellness routine can have various benefits on your overall health and wellness. “It’s become a game-changer for my recovery routine, helping me ease pain and reduce inflammation after workouts. I can’t wait for one of you to experience all the benefits too,” she said on Instagram.

2. She spends time with family

She enjoys family time, traveling and bonding. “One of the best parts about being a parent is reliving your childhood memories over again through their innocent curious eyes, what a blessing this summer to have shared these beautiful moments with my loved ones and show my children how raw and perfect this land is. These are the childhood moments that shaped me. 🌍🐆🇿🇦,” she said on a series of photos and videos on Instagram of a family trip in Africa.

3. She does yoga

She factors yoga into her workout routine as a way to stay physically, spiritually, and mentally strong. “Balance; stability found at the centre of acceptance ⚖️,” she said on Instagram while in a pose. “Yoga improves strength, balance and flexibility. Slow movements and deep breathing increase blood flow and warm up muscles, while holding a pose can build strength,” according to John Hopkins Medicine.

4. She does ballet

In addition to yoga, she also practices ballet as a way to stay in shape, incorporating something she loves into her workouts. “Ballet taught me the incredible harmony between strength and grace through discipline...That lesson has stayed with me throughout my career and daily life 🦢🖤,” she said on Instagram.

5. She spends time outside

She enjoys hiking and spending plenty of time outdoors, especially while traveling the world, exploring nature in new countries. “Once upon a time in the jungles in Costa Rica 🌱🦋 #puravida,” she said on Instagram, walking through the water in her bikini and her boots.
