Maxxine Dupri is a successful wrestler with the WWE, currently signed to their Raw brand. Last month, Dupri took to Instagram to model workout clothes from Shop Jaunty. She posed in a white hooded sweatshirt and a black workout bra and shorts, showing off her athletic style. Dupri also opened up about her journey in wrestling, sharing insights into her training and mindset.

1. She’s Authentic

Dupri is all about being authentic on social media. She talked about this with Wrestle Zone. “I think this is something that’s funny because if you look at — for example, my Instagram prior to being in WWE, you don’t see my personality at all. I’m very, very goofy, like this is more who I am than what you see from me online. Most people just don’t really know me unless you’re my close circle of friends. I think it’s been fun to just share that goofy side.”

2. She Wants To Improve

Wooden,Blocks,With,Words,'never,Stop,Improving'.Shutterstock

Dupri tells WrestleZone that improvement is something that is important to her. “It’s so authentic to me and just really getting to learn and grow, this is true to my core. That was my first match and I truly was excited to have completed it and done well. My finish was successful and I think it’s not so much character for me, this is me learning and I’m learning from extremely talented people. I’m having so much fun and I’m getting to show a side of me that is who I am. I love that I get to share that.”

3. She Works With Trainers

Dupri tells WrestleZone that she is working with trainers to help her stay in shape. “I think for me right now, I’m being trained by two incredible amateur wrestlers. I’m going to use all of those tools to the best of my ability and I think as we continue my training I think we’ll learn some more submissions, some more suplexes and just become more and more dangerous every time I enter the ring.”

4. She Works Her Lower Body

Dupri doesn’t skip leg day. She shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. Having strong legs is important, according to Piedmont. “Having strong glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings and calf muscles gives your body a strong foundation and can: Tone your lower body muscles. Boost your metabolism as you increase muscle mass. Give you a higher calorie burn as you train larger muscle groups. Improve your balance. Strengthen your bones. Reduce joint pain.”

5. She Uses Weights

Maxxine Dupri.5Maxxine Dupri/Instagram

Dupri is seen using weights in the previous Instagram post. ACE Fitness states that this has a lot of benefits. “Using maximal loads for compound (multi-joint) movements like the deadlift, squat-to-shoulder press, bent-over row or chest press can improve intermuscular coordination, which is the ability of many muscles to work together to generate and control high levels of force through multiple joints.”

Rhea Ripley is showing off her guns – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the WWE fighter flexes while wearing a sports bra and sweats, her washboard abs on display. “you’re unreal,” commented one of her followers. “🔥🔥🔥,” added Carmella. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Does Her Best

While training for WrestleMania, Rhea gives it her all. “When it comes to Mania season, it's an 'I'm trying my best' approach. There's less time to go to the gym with all the media and shows, and a lot of travelling, especially being on Raw and SmackDown at the moment,” she told GQ.

Self-Care and Rest

Rhea stresses the importance of self-care and rest. “It's a very intense job and environment. It can be quite stressful, because there are a lot of things that are needed from you; a lot of things that people don't understand we do and go through,” she told GQ. “It's important to have those moments of free time when you can turn your brain off, whether it's at the gym, watching a movie, or just spending time with friends and family – anything you can do to put yourself at ease and make yourself feel like a normal human for a couple of hours!”

Hydration

Three,5,Liter,Plastic,Water,Bottles,Close,Up.,Water,DeliveryShutterstock

Drinking water is also a priority. “I definitely need to drink more water. It's something I need to get better at, but I'm trying!” she says. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Meal Prep

Rhea controls her diet with a meal delivery service. “I get meals sent to me every Sunday by a meal-prep company with the macros I want. I definitely don't eat as much as I should – I don't know how I have as much muscle as I do, because sometimes I don't eat. I did legs the other day, burnt 2,500 active calories, and I only ate 8-900 calories that day,” she says. “I definitely fluctuate with my eating habits. It's not good, especially in the profession that I'm in. I need to be eating more just to save my body, but sometimes you're just so busy that you don't.”

Strength Training and Cardio

“Normally, when I go to the gym, I do 20 minutes of cardio, then lift weights for two and a half, sometimes three hours – it really depends on what I want to do. It's my happy place, so I like to spend time there – it's the one place I get to turn my brain off. At the moment, I still get in to do cardio and I'm weight training at least six days a week, but today I only did back [training] for an hour. It definitely isn't my preference, but you just have to go in and hustle, because when it comes to WrestleMania, you want to be as fit and look as good as you can,” she told GQ. “For me, it's about staying ready, so then if you need to maintain for a day or two, you can. At the end of the day, you will have a day off where you can just go completely ham.”

Ivelisse Velez, a well-known wrestler, continues to dominate in the world of professional wrestling. Famous for her time with Lucha Underground, Velez recently shared some thrilling highlights from her latest match with Shine Wrestling on Instagram. She captioned the post with pride, "My best match of 2024 🤼‍♀️🇵🇷⚔️🇯🇵." With a career centered on breaking barriers and raising the bar for women’s wrestling, Velez has become a powerful voice for female athletes. From her dedication in the ring to her role as a dog owner and advocate for healthy living, Velez's journey continues to inspire. Her passion for promoting women's wrestling shines through, solidifying her as a trailblazer in the sport.

1. She Wrestles

Wrestling is the main way Velez stays in shape. The sport has a lot of health benefits. FloWrestling states, “Wrestlers learn from challenging one-on-one struggles against an opponent and also develop an awareness of diet and nutrition through the process of making weight. While not all wrestlers and coaches approach weight loss in healthy ways, when done correctly, this can teach a physical life skill that many young athletes may never learn.”

2. She Has A Dog

Velez has a dog, whom she prominently features on her social media accounts. She shared this video on her TikTok and Instagram. Harvard Health states that having a dog can have some health benefits. “Ongoing research is showing that the health benefits of owning a dog are undeniable. Dog owners have lower blood pressure and healthier cholesterol levels, and a lower risk of heart disease, than non-owners.”

3. She Wants To Highlight Women’s Wrestling

Velez opened up about her career in an interview with The Huffington Post. She says that promoting women’s wrestling is important to her. “I have always wrestled like a guy; I have always had it in my mind to have that standard. I have always wanted to bring that level of credibility to women's wrestling. Women can fight. Women are just as good as men. Women are just as tough as men."

4. She’s Proud Of Herself

Velez is extremely proud of the way her career has gone. "With Lucha Underground, here I am, where I was meant to be all along," she said to The Huffington Post. "That's why I feel like I was meant to go through all that hell. This is perfect for what I wanted to bring to the world. It definitely means a lot. Being in this career and giving everything I have given, being acknowledged... It makes that feeling ten times bigger. I'm happy it's happening, happy for everything to come and extremely grateful!"

5. She Helped Change Things

Velez talked about being a part of getting women’s wrestling promoted to The Huffington Post. "I highly doubt it has anything to do with the talent, the women out there itself. It has to do with the fact WWE was the main wrestling entity, and that's what they wanted to sell. Anyone else who had a different agenda pretty much got short-handed. Now it's out there; there's a higher demand for that type of performer. They sort of have no choice but to roll with the punches and finally give people what they want to see."

Deonna Purrazzo, a powerhouse in the wrestling world, has solidified her success with IMPACT, even winning the Knockout Championship. Having also been a part of WWE’s NXT brand, Purrazzo is no stranger to hard work and determination. Recently, she shared inspiring messages and workout tips in an Instagram collaboration with coach Cezar Bonni.

1. She Worked With A Coach

Smiling,Sportswoman,Sitting,At,Chest,Machine,And,Looking,At,TabletShutterstock

Purrazzo shared her journey into wrestling with Yahoo Sports. She says that she worked with a coach to help her train. “Nine years after informing my parents of my career decision, 130 pounds soaking wet, I stepped into a professional wrestling gym for the first time. The gym – The Adams Pro-Wrestling Training Camp - was barely 20 minutes from our house. There were half a dozen trainees. I was the only girl. The coach, Damian Adams, directed us to the ring, which was set up towards the back under a low ceiling.”

2. She Works Hard

Purrazzo tells Yahoo Sports that she makes sure to work hard when it comes to training. “For the next year, I trained like that every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings. My body toughened up and as I learned the fundamentals of the craft. Training exclusively with men, I see now, wasn’t a disadvantage. My offense had to be extra crisp to be believable against them — and I had to hit the technique on a slam or suplex exactly right every single time. Unlike some of the guys, I couldn’t rely on pure muscle to get the job done.”

3. She Stood Up For Herself

Purrazzo opened up about her decision to leave NXT with Yahoo Sports. She says that she wanted to stand up for herself and receive feedback from them, and they weren’t giving it to her. “After a year of frustration and doing anything I could to please, I finally stood up for myself by — politely — suggesting an alternative: Couldn’t I lose to someone new? Wouldn’t wrestling someone different make sense all around? The answer came back, no, you are losing to the same wrestler. No discussion, no ‘we understand your concern,’ no sign that one side of this professional relationship was prepared to listen to the other. Something changed in me. I thought about it and then I emailed back, with respect, that wasn’t in my own interests and I’d prefer not to be part of that television taping. It was very liberating. I felt like I did when I was wrestling on the independent circuit, ready to take a chance on myself again.”

4. She’s Authentic

While Purrazzo plays a character in the ring, she tells Yahoo Sports that it is pretty authentic to who she is. “When I made my big return to IMPACT Wrestling last summer, it was as a heel and I sewed the experience of the previous year into my character. In my persona’s mind, I’d been held down, treated unfairly and there was every justification to selfishly go after what I wanted. My character — and my real self — would not be asking for permission anymore. I fit in at IMPACT. Its women’s division – the Knockouts – is run by Gail Kim, one of the legends I looked up to as a kid. I hit the ground running, excited to prove what I could do with this new chance.”

5. She Does Cardio

Purrazzo revealed in her Instagram post that she does a lot of cardio to stay in shape. Cardio workouts are important. The Mayo Clinic reports, “During aerobic activity, you repeatedly move large muscles in your arms, legs and hips. You'll notice your body's responses quickly. You'll breathe faster and more deeply. This maximizes the amount of oxygen in your blood. Your heart will beat faster, which increases blood flow to your muscles and back to your lungs.”

1. She Wants To Promote Women’s Wrestling

In an interview with GQ, Ripley talked about her desires for women’s wrestling. She says that she wants the sport to get more attention. “I want the women's division to be the biggest that it's ever been. But there's always that selfish side of you that wants to be the face of the women's division. I want to make history, to make a legacy for myself – but if accomplishing that means that the women's division doesn't grow and get better, then it wasn't really worth it.”

2. She Makes Time For Herself

Ripley tells GQ that she makes sure to make time for herself. “It's a very intense job and environment. It can be quite stressful, because there are a lot of things that are needed from you; a lot of things that people don't understand we do and go through. It's important to have those moments of free time when you can turn your brain off, whether it's at the gym, watching a movie, or just spending time with friends and family – anything you can do to put yourself at ease and make yourself feel like a normal human for a couple of hours!”

In order to eat healthy, Ripley has food delivered from a meal service. “I get meals sent to me every Sunday by a meal-prep company with the macros I want,” she told GQ. “I definitely don't eat as much as I should – I don't know how I have as much muscle as I do, because sometimes I don't eat. I did legs the other day, burnt 2,500 active calories, and I only ate 8-900 calories that day.”

4. She Does Cardio & Weights

Ripley tells GQ that she typically does a combination of cardio and weights when she trains. “Normally, when I go to the gym, I do 20 minutes of cardio, then lift weights for two and a half, sometimes three hours – it really depends on what I want to do. It's my happy place, so I like to spend time there – it's the one place I get to turn my brain off. It definitely isn't my preference, but you just have to go in and hustle, because when it comes to WrestleMania, you want to be as fit and look as good as you can.”

5. She’s Consistent

Since she’s a full-time wrestler, Ripley needs to be in shape all the time. For that reason, working out consistently is important to her. She talked about this in an interview with Muscle & Fitness. “I feel like my training is always pretty insane. I’ve been preparing for WrestleMania, but my training, overall, is very intense. I try and stay as ready as I can, all year round.”

She Strength Trains

The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Sharvari captioned the post, “BEAST MODE on for Vedaa! ⚠️☠️🥊 Took up boxing to become Vedaa... Now I am ready to pack a punch or be strong enough to take a brutal beating 💪#Vedaa coming to a theatre near you on August 15th.”

She Runs

Sharvari likes to run to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself running on the beach. She captioned the post, “Decided to seas the day!” Better Health says that running is very beneficial. “Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Running can: help to build strong bones, as it is a weight bearing exercise, strengthen muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, burn plenty of kilojoules, help maintain a healthy weight.”

Natasa Stankovic in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Wednesday Challenge"

Stankovic shares her go-to workout moves, from squats to lunges, cardio, Pilates, and strength training.

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Kim French in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Real Results" Workout

Learn how she sculpts her powerhouse physique with deadlifts, lunges, squats, and more.

Kim French is more than just a personal trainer—she’s a fitness coach who empowers thousands through her Believe App and Instagram workouts. Known for her structured, effective home training plans, she proves that you don’t need a gym full of heavy weights to build serious strength.

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

French is seen doing hamstring curls in her Instagram post. According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
