Rhea Ripley is making waves in the WWE, holding multiple championship titles, including the record for the longest Women’s World Championship reign, tied with Bayley. Recently, Ripley gave her followers a glimpse of her workout routine by sharing photos on Instagram in light brown workout clothes, showcasing her incredible physique. Beyond her physical strength, Ripley is passionate about growing women’s wrestling and has ambitious goals for the future of the sport. In interviews, she shares insights into her fitness regimen, which includes a mix of cardio and weight training, as well as the importance of making time for self-care in her busy schedule. Ripley also stays on track with her nutrition through a meal delivery service that helps her meet her macro goals. Here’s a closer look at how Ripley balances her intense WWE schedule with her dedication to fitness and her mission to elevate women’s wrestling.

1. She Wants To Promote Women’s Wrestling

In an interview with GQ, Ripley talked about her desires for women’s wrestling. She says that she wants the sport to get more attention. “I want the women's division to be the biggest that it's ever been. But there's always that selfish side of you that wants to be the face of the women's division. I want to make history, to make a legacy for myself – but if accomplishing that means that the women's division doesn't grow and get better, then it wasn't really worth it.”

2. She Makes Time For Herself

Ripley tells GQ that she makes sure to make time for herself. “It's a very intense job and environment. It can be quite stressful, because there are a lot of things that are needed from you; a lot of things that people don't understand we do and go through. It's important to have those moments of free time when you can turn your brain off, whether it's at the gym, watching a movie, or just spending time with friends and family – anything you can do to put yourself at ease and make yourself feel like a normal human for a couple of hours!”

3. She Has A Meal Delivery Service

In order to eat healthy, Ripley has food delivered from a meal service. “I get meals sent to me every Sunday by a meal-prep company with the macros I want,” she told GQ. “I definitely don't eat as much as I should – I don't know how I have as much muscle as I do, because sometimes I don't eat. I did legs the other day, burnt 2,500 active calories, and I only ate 8-900 calories that day.”

4. She Does Cardio & Weights

Rhea Ripley.2Rhea Ripley/Instagram

Ripley tells GQ that she typically does a combination of cardio and weights when she trains. “Normally, when I go to the gym, I do 20 minutes of cardio, then lift weights for two and a half, sometimes three hours – it really depends on what I want to do. It's my happy place, so I like to spend time there – it's the one place I get to turn my brain off. At the moment, I still get in to do cardio and I'm weight training at least six days a week, but today I only did back [training] for an hour. It definitely isn't my preference, but you just have to go in and hustle, because when it comes to WrestleMania, you want to be as fit and look as good as you can.”

5. She’s Consistent

Rhea Ripley.1Rhea Ripley/Instagram

Since she’s a full-time wrestler, Ripley needs to be in shape all the time. For that reason, working out consistently is important to her. She talked about this in an interview with Muscle & Fitness. “I feel like my training is always pretty insane. I’ve been preparing for WrestleMania, but my training, overall, is very intense. I try and stay as ready as I can, all year round.”

Rhea Ripley is a very successful wrestler. She and fellow wrestlers, Gabriel Aeros and Eli Thesus, went on a trip to Vegas recently. The three posted an Instagram collaboration showing highlights of the trip, including them posing over the strip. Theseus captioned the post, “Adelaide > Vegas.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Rhea Ripley stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Wants To Highlight Women’s Wrestling

Ripley wants women’s wrestling to be highlighted. “I want the women's division to be the biggest that it's ever been,” she says to GQ. “But there's always that selfish side of you that wants to be the face of the women's division. I want to make history, to make a legacy for myself – but if accomplishing that means that the women's division doesn't grow and get better, then it wasn't really worth it.”

2. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Ripley shared her favorite workouts with GQ. She says that she does a variety of different workouts. “Normally, when I go to the gym, I do 20 minutes of cardio, then lift weights for two and a half, sometimes three hours – it really depends on what I want to do. It's my happy place, so I like to spend time there – it's the one place I get to turn my brain off. At the moment, I still get in to do cardio and I'm weight training at least six days a week, but today I only did back [training] for an hour.”

3. She Makes Time For Herself

Ripley has a busy schedule, but she always makes time for herself. “It's important to have those moments of free time when you can turn your brain off,” she told GQ. “Whether it's at the gym, watching a movie, or just spending time with friends and family – anything you can do to put yourself at ease and make yourself feel like a normal human for a couple of hours.”

4. She Pushes Herself

Ripley tells Muscle and Fitness that she pushes herself at the gym. “I don’t really have a schedule sorta thing. Like, yes, I have my allocated days for certain muscles but sometimes that gets muddled up (due to the demands of a pro wrestling career). This is a very taxing job so you don’t know how you’re gonna feel each and every day, so you just try and go in and do as best as you can but for me, I just try and lift all the heavy stuff! Like, I workout with Buddy Matthews, so, he lifts extremely heavy and I try and keep up with him. It’s pretty much impossible but, you know, I do make him question himself every now and then!”

5. She’s Motivated

Ripley shared her motivations for being better at wrestling with The Sporting News. "We don’t technically have a leader, none of us really lead – we just have specific jobs that we are better at. They all listen to me and they all believe in me and it helps me believe in myself at the same time. I’ve obviously got a target on my back… it’s keeping me quite occupied. I’ve got my hands full, but at the end of the day it makes the day go faster and I love a good challenge – I’m down for whatever is thrown my way."

Australian professional wrestler Rhea Ripley is showing her 3.4 million Instagram followers exactly what an intense muscle-building workout looks like. Ripley, 27, shared a video of herself wearing a black Sunzel workout onesie, using resistance equipment at the gym. “Victorious,” she captioned the post. Like all professional wrestlers, Ripley’s workout routine is hardcore and focuses on being strong, fit, and flexible. Here’s how she does it.

1. Her Training Routine

Ripley weight trains six days a week and calls the gym her happy place. “Normally, when I go to the gym, I do 20 minutes of cardio, then lift weights for two and a half, sometimes three hours – it really depends on what I want to do,” she told GQ UK. “It's my happy place, so I like to spend time there – it's the one place I get to turn my brain off. At the moment, I still get in to do cardio and I'm weight training at least six days a week, but today I only did back [training] for an hour. It definitely isn't my preference, but you just have to go in and hustle, because when it comes to WrestleMania, you want to be as fit and look as good as you can.”

2. Learning To Lift

Ripley learned to lift weights after a trip to Japan when she was 17. “I was there for three months, and the coaches made us do so much training,” she told Muscle & Fitness. “So, when I got back home to Adelaide, I really got into lifting weights with my coaches Chris and Matt Basso. They taught me how to lift weights properly, and ever since then, I’ve loved the gym. It’s really my happy place. A place where I go, to let go of my stress and anxiety.”

3. Goth Style

Ripley’s makeup is simple and designed to stay put. “My lipstick is the Sephora brand liquid lipstick,” she told InStyle. “It's just the normal black one. Sometimes it does smudge, but I normally put it on early in the day. And because I'm filming so much stuff and running around sweating, I put so many layers on. By the time I go out on TV, it doesn't move too much."

4. Strong and Confident

Ripley fully embraces her strong physique. "My whole life I've had people telling me that I look like a man, I'm not feminine, I'm too masculine, all that stuff," she told Revolver. "Well, you know what? Just like I was inspired by [former WWE champion] Beth Phoenix, who also looks very masculine, I want to inspire other potential female athletes to go as hard as they want and feel comfortable in their own skin — that's why I go out there day after day and do my thing."

5. Time To Relax

Ripley knows how important it is to switch off and relax. “It's important to have those moments of free time when you can turn your brain off, whether it's at the gym, watching a movie, or just spending time with friends and family,” she told GQ UK. “Anything you can do to put yourself at ease and make yourself feel like a normal human for a couple of hours!”

Ivelisse Velez, a well-known wrestler, continues to dominate in the world of professional wrestling. Famous for her time with Lucha Underground, Velez recently shared some thrilling highlights from her latest match with Shine Wrestling on Instagram. She captioned the post with pride, "My best match of 2024 🤼‍♀️🇵🇷⚔️🇯🇵." With a career centered on breaking barriers and raising the bar for women’s wrestling, Velez has become a powerful voice for female athletes. From her dedication in the ring to her role as a dog owner and advocate for healthy living, Velez's journey continues to inspire. Her passion for promoting women's wrestling shines through, solidifying her as a trailblazer in the sport.

1. She Wrestles

Wrestling is the main way Velez stays in shape. The sport has a lot of health benefits. FloWrestling states, “Wrestlers learn from challenging one-on-one struggles against an opponent and also develop an awareness of diet and nutrition through the process of making weight. While not all wrestlers and coaches approach weight loss in healthy ways, when done correctly, this can teach a physical life skill that many young athletes may never learn.”

2. She Has A Dog

Velez has a dog, whom she prominently features on her social media accounts. She shared this video on her TikTok and Instagram. Harvard Health states that having a dog can have some health benefits. “Ongoing research is showing that the health benefits of owning a dog are undeniable. Dog owners have lower blood pressure and healthier cholesterol levels, and a lower risk of heart disease, than non-owners.”

3. She Wants To Highlight Women’s Wrestling

Velez opened up about her career in an interview with The Huffington Post. She says that promoting women’s wrestling is important to her. “I have always wrestled like a guy; I have always had it in my mind to have that standard. I have always wanted to bring that level of credibility to women's wrestling. Women can fight. Women are just as good as men. Women are just as tough as men."

4. She’s Proud Of Herself

Velez is extremely proud of the way her career has gone. "With Lucha Underground, here I am, where I was meant to be all along," she said to The Huffington Post. "That's why I feel like I was meant to go through all that hell. This is perfect for what I wanted to bring to the world. It definitely means a lot. Being in this career and giving everything I have given, being acknowledged... It makes that feeling ten times bigger. I'm happy it's happening, happy for everything to come and extremely grateful!"

5. She Helped Change Things

Velez talked about being a part of getting women’s wrestling promoted to The Huffington Post. "I highly doubt it has anything to do with the talent, the women out there itself. It has to do with the fact WWE was the main wrestling entity, and that's what they wanted to sell. Anyone else who had a different agenda pretty much got short-handed. Now it's out there; there's a higher demand for that type of performer. They sort of have no choice but to roll with the punches and finally give people what they want to see."

Candice LeRae is an accomplished professional wrestler known for her work with WWE, particularly in SmackDown events. She’s making a name for herself in the wrestling world, separate from her husband, fellow wrestler Johnny Gargano. LeRae’s recent appearance in a SmackDown event was promoted by USA Network on Instagram with the caption, "From sweet to evil, Candice LeRae finds The Way back home to USA Network, along with #SmackDown, on September 13!" Throughout her career, LeRae has embraced every opportunity to excel in the ring, pushing herself beyond her comfort zone. As she continues to climb the ranks, LeRae is determined to be more than just a famous wrestler’s wife—she's on a mission to inspire others and become a role model for young girls. Here’s a glimpse into her fitness, career goals, and motivations.

1. She Takes Opportunities

In an interview on WWE’s website, LeRae shared her career goals. “My childhood dream was to be a WWE Superstar. Now that I am living that dream, I am discovering there is a whole new world of opportunity here in NXT. I have pushed myself to do things in the ring and in the gym that I used to be afraid to do or was uncomfortable with. I want to seize every opportunity NXT has to offer me, and when I do, I want to be ready for them. Being here has sparked something special in me to push me to the next level.”

2. She Wants To Make A Name For Herself

Since LeRae is married to a fellow wrestler, Johnny Gargano, she wants to make a name for herself. “It puts this added pressure on me because I don’t want to be an embarrassment to Johnny,” she told WWE. “Plus, my husband worked so hard for his name, and I absolutely refuse to ride his coattails. I know I have a challenge in proving to the fans and my peers that I belong here too. I want to make a name for myself here in NXT because of my own work and not because of who my husband is.”

3. She Wants To Be A Role Model

LeRae tells WWE that she wants to be a role model for young girls. “I have four nieces, and it is extremely important to me to be a good example for them. That isn’t limited to just making good life choices, but to also teaching them the importance of dreams. When I started to believe in myself and worked harder than ever before, I achieved my dream. I don’t ever want my nieces to doubt themselves. I never want them to think they can’t live their dreams. This quest for the NXT Women’s Championship is an absolute fairytale for me, and I will stop at nothing until I have my happily ever after.”

4. She Works Hard

LeRae is a hard worker, and shared where she gets this from with WWE. “My parents worked extremely hard to give my two brothers and I everything they could. Their work ethic was certainly something that stuck out to me. My family — including aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc. — has always been extremely close. I grew up constantly outnumbered by boys in my family.”

5. She Wrestles

Wrestling is the main way LeRae stays fit. According to FloWrestling, the sport is very beneficial. “Wrestling also teaches valuable physical discipline. Wrestlers learn from challenging one-on-one struggles against an opponent and also develop an awareness of diet and nutrition through the process of making weight. While not all wrestlers and coaches approach weight loss in healthy ways, when done correctly, this can teach a physical life skill that many young athletes may never learn.”

Bianca Bustamante is revving up her engine in 2025 – in her workout gear. In a new social media post, the racecar driver reveals she is taking “the next major step” in her physical journey as a race driver “and I’ve set the target high!” she says in a new Instagram post, filled with video clips of herself lifting heavy weights at the gym. “Never been more motivated in my life, it’s not physically easy for a girl in this sport, but I’m super excited to take on this new challenge and the next big step on my racing journey,” she added. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here are her top lifestyle tips.

Lifting Weights

Bianca spends hours at the gym where she focuses on strength training along with endurance, cardio, reaction time, and reflexes. “You know, to be a driver, it’s a complete package. It takes strength. It takes mental fortitude. It takes reflexes, smart thinking, and survival skills,” she told MEGA Active. “Sometimes it's for the body, sometimes it's for the mind. Nothing more peaceful than early sessions,” she captioned an Instagram post of one of her sessions.

Double Down On Training

In her recent post, Bianca reveals that she working extra hard at the gym. “I’ve been working hard over the years to build a solid foundation, but in 2025, I’ll be working with @j_w_90 and I’m doubling down on my training. Increasing to two workouts a day not just on lifts but aerobic endurance, as well as a better focus on nutrition and rest, in order to raise the bar to compete in the higher formulas,” she said.

Fueling Your Body With Protein

Bianca makes sure to eat enough protein in order to build more muscle and stay as lean as possible to meet the weight requirement. “It’s been a really cool journey seeing my body develop and transform into this whole different person I never knew I could become,” she said. In her new post she added that she is meal prepping. “I’m soooo all in that im even learning how to cook & meal prep better than ever before,” she writes.

Taking Cold Plunges

As for recovery, cold plunging is part of Bianca’s training regime. Limited research supports the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increasing focus, improving sleep, and decreasing inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes post-sport recovery.

Working On Self-Esteem

Positive self-talk is also important. “Of course, I put a lot of pressure on myself, but in the end, I always tell myself that as long as I give my best and I learn from it, any mistake I make is valid,” Bianca explained. “I always try to repeat that to myself that I am valid. I’m here for a reason and there’s nothing I would rather do than be here.”

How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Jogging

Brenda enjoys jogging. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

Walking Her Dog

She also takes her dog on long walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Dancing

You can also find Brenda dancing to burn calories. Dancing is an excellent workout for many reasons. It builds strength and promotes flexibility, helps you lose weight, and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop or die from heart disease than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues

Swimming

Brenda spends a lot of time in her swimsuit so it isn’t surprising she loves to swim. According to the CDC, swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, multiple studies support the mental health benefits of swimming.

Hydration

Finally, Brenda hydrates, especially after a long workout or sun exposure. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Romani has her own charity, Help Miami Cats. She talked about how she started this in the caption of this Instagram post. “❤️ Guys!!!! I have always loved cats and had many growing up. When I moved to Miami Beach I met a great calico named Chacha and learnt that cats were brought to the city by Mayor Lummus … against rodents. Cats rely on volunteers for their food and water and there’s a huge amount of them. There’s a city program to Spay and neuter with the wonderful @sobecats ladies and the feeding is made official by a City Sanctioned badge, yet new cats keep getting dumped daily sadly and there’s a never ending amount of work, emergencies and so on. I was on a feeding rotation but during the pandemic I was left alone caring for so many as people left town or couldn’t afford feeding anymore …I decided to start my own non profit @helpmiamicats . We feed close to 200 and when Batman got paralyzed took him and other special needs cats under my care … @stevensachs69 with the cat room and the amazing people involved devote their lives to these special souls … My life has changed a lot too … way less spare time, way more sweat and tears and lost the person I had by my side who had sadly other priorities … yet gained so much love from these lovely creatures !!! If you can please get involved in any way … follow @helpmiamicats , share, volunteer, adopt … donate … Only together we can make their world a better place !!! And yes … just me feeding the kitties and talking to them … 🤷🏻♀️👀😆❤️🙌”
