Her self-care is a blend of discipline and indulgence.

Zendaya, iconic in her roles in Dune and The Challengers, recently gave her fans a glimpse of her fitness lifestyle with a fun social media post. Showing off her toned body in workout gear while enjoying a toboggan run in Switzerland, she captioned the post, "When in Switzerland Dream @on ✨." While Zendaya’s carefree spirit shines through in moments like these, her approach to diet, fitness, and self-care is a blend of discipline and indulgence. From her relaxed attitude toward food to dancing and tennis workouts, Zendaya proves that staying healthy can also be enjoyable. Here's a look at how she maintains her incredible physique and well-being.

1. Tennis

Zendaya learned how to play tennis for her role in The Challengers. She trained for three months with Brad Gilbert, a professional tennis player. "I'm not the hugest fan of having to work out, I don't necessarily look forward to it, but I had to because my character's supposed to be a tennis pro and clearly I’m not giving tennis pro!" she told Elle. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.

2. Relaxed Approach to Diet

Saint-petersburg,,Russia,-,6,October,2019:,Postmates,Food,Delivery,AppShutterstock

Zendaya is not a dieter. In fact, she often orders food instead of making it and doesn’t count calories. "I just a) don't like following directions, and I'm b) too lazy," she told Harper's Bazaar. "I use Postmates to order food. I can have anything I want; that's the beauty of ordering food.”

3. Vegetarian Diet

Celebrity Sightings In New York City - September 21, 2024The Hapa Blonde/GC Images via Getty Images

Zendaya maintains a plant-based diet. However, there is a catch. "I'm a vegetarian who doesn't like vegetables too much—makes it challenging!" Zendaya told Cosmopolitan. She also admits to having a sweet tooth. “If I'm having my favorite meal, I'll just skip right to ice cream. In fact, I get in trouble with my assistant a lot. He says I shouldn't do that,” she added to Harper’s Bazaar. She isn’t big into breakfast, but if she does eat in the AM, “it must have some Nutella on it: pancakes, berries and Nutella." She added to Harper's Bazaar that there is only one drink she likes. "I don't drink coffee; it doesn't do anything for me. I don't drink energy drinks or soda, either. And I hate water. I'm a juice drinker, but not fancy-people juice. Like Tropicana or lemonade—not fancy."

4. Strength Training

Zendaya will occasionally hit the gym and lift weights. “Workout mood…” she captioned a photo of herself messing around during an exercise session. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

5. Dancing

"I enjoy dancing and doing choreography, stuff like that. So, that's how I get my exercise," Zenday told Justine Magazine. "Find something that's really fun for you. Whether that's Jazzercise or whatever." Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.

Michelle Hunziker, the model and TV host, just posted a stunning new beach photo on Instagram this week. In it, she is seen walking by the water. She wore a white bathing suit, showing off her toned abs and legs. She captioned the post, “Colori….💙 vi ricordate le cartoline? Io scrivevo a tutti per condividere delle emozioni indescrivibili e per far viaggiare le persone a cui voglio bene con me…vi mando un bacio enorme ….❤️ #paradise #maldives @diamonds_thudufushi @manusuma @beach__side” (Rough translation: “Colors…do you remember the postcards? 1. She Led An Outdoor Fitness Session For Charity

Hunziker likes to share her workouts with her fans, and she once led an outdoor workout session in 2018. This event wasn’t just a way for Hunziker to workout with others, it also benefited a great cause. All the profits went towards the Doppa Difesa organization, which is a charity that helps survivors of domestic abuse.

2. She Remembers To Stretch

Michelle Hunziker "Iron Ciapet" Fitness PerformanceDaniele Venturelli/Getty Images

Hunziker posts a lot of her go-to exercises and workout routines on Facebook lives. And she remembers to start her workout with a session of stretching and warming up. The first thing Hunziker and her trainer do in this Facebook live workout video is a series of stretches. They are seen doing forward bends, oblique stretches, and working out their arms. It is important to do some stretches before doing an intense workout. According to Harvard Health, “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

3. She Works Out Her Legs

Hunziker has a stunning set of gams, and she got them for a reason. In the same workout video on Facebook Live, Hunziker and her trainers are seen doing a lot of leg workouts. They are seen doing front lunges, leg lifts, squat step outs, and cross lunges. Leg workouts are important, and the expression “Don’t skip leg day,” rings true. The Mayo Clinic emphasizes the important of a varied and balanced workout. “Whether you create your own fitness training program or enlist the help of a personal trainer, your overall exercise plan should include several elements.”

4. She Uses A Chair In Her Workouts

Chairs aren’t just for sitting down. At least, they aren’t for Hunziker and her trainers. In their Facebook Live, Hunziker and her trainers do a lot of workouts with a chair. They are seen doing push ups, arm raises, and leg lifts with their hands on the chair. Multicare.org reports, “Whether it’s from your office, the comfort of your own home or in a class format, chair exercises are a great low-impact way to incorporate movement into your routine.”

5. She Does Workouts That Help Her Back

Hunziker revealed in an interview with Oggi that she had to make a lot of changes to her workout routine. She used to do a lot of outdoor sports, but a back injury prevented her from doing so. She then decided to do workouts that would help her back and posture. “I sneezed and my back got stuck. It is there that I discovered postural gymnastics which, together with pilates, changed my life, I never had pain again.”

I love to breathe the iodine deeply and feel the breeze that caresses your face at sunset still full of salt on your skin ... a side glance of a dolphin playing with the boat at sea satisfies me more than anything else in the world. Zoë Kravitz is an actress and singer best known for her role as Catwoman in The Batman, and her role as Bonnie Carlson on Big Little Lies. Soon, however, you'll know her as a big-time director—her first film, Blink Twice, starring Naomi Ackie, Channing Tatum and Alia Shawkat, comes out August 23. Kravitz recently shared a photo of herself in two-piece workout gear on Instagram. She received praise in her comments section. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Zoë Kravitz stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Worked With A Trainer

Lenny Kravitz Honored with Star on The Hollywood Walk of FameVariety/Getty Images

To play Catwoman, Kravitz worked with trainer Harley Pasternak. He shared with Men’s Health that they worked out each filming day. "We would work out five days a week, because they film five days a week," Pasternak said. "And we'd work out during a typical 30-minute lunch break, but it was usually 25 with them. Each workout starts with cardio warmup and then we do circuits of upper body and lower body, then abs and then a cardio cooldown. All in 25 minutes."

2. She Makes Wellness A Priority

Kravitz tells Vogue that she makes sure to make wellness a priority. “I try and drink a lot of water, and I think it’s all about balance. I think it’s about joy, happiness and laughter because those really effect the way you look and feel. I also love to steam—I love to sweat things out and I think it’s good to keep the body moving.”

3. She Does Cleanses

Kravitz revealed to Vogue that she does a cleanse each year with her mother. “Every year, my mom and I try and do the Dr. Schultz 30-Day Detox together. It’s a 30-day cleanse that focuses on all your different organs, so your bowel, your liver, your kidneys, your gallbladder and the bowel again. It’s just a nice thing to reset your body every year. If you don’t do that cleanse, take a week to eat raw and natural foods as a way to let your body relax because it’s constantly working to process everything that we’re putting in it. It’s like giving your gut a vacation.”

4. She Uses The Elliptical

Kravitz shared her daily routine with Harper’s Bazaar. She says that she likes to use the elliptical at the gym. “I try to work out when I first get up. Otherwise I'll go late at night, like 10 P.M. I think it helps me sleep, and it's very important to sweat and move your blood. My gym in Brooklyn is really small, and I'll just go on the elliptical for 30 minutes, long enough to work up a sweat, and then I'm good.”

5. She Uses Steam Rooms

Zoe Kravitz.5Zoe Kravitz/Instagram

After working out, Kravitz tells Harper’s Bazaar that she likes to go in a steam room. “I also love steam rooms, because it helps get all the toxins out and rejuvenate your body. And I do stretches and sit-ups at home, like leg exercises and stuff. I've worked with a lot of trainers over the years for shows and films, so I know enough about fitness to do things on my own at this point.”

Jesscia Szohr is an actress. She’s best known for her roles in Gossip Girl and The Orville. Szohr shared a gym video on Instagram this month. In it, she is seen lifting weights, doing Russian twists, and doing toe touches. She captioned the post, “I’m no pro at working out…need to straighten my legs more and get deeper in a squat. But at least I’m out here trying. I don’t love the gym or weights but I love how I feel after! Okay- have a great Tuesday.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Jessica Szohr stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Uses Weights

Szohr weight trains, as you can see in her Instagram post. The Mayo Clinic states that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls.”

2. She Does Core Workouts

Jessica Szohr.2Jessica Szohr/Instagram

Szohr also does core workouts, as you can see in her Instagram post. Having a strong core has a lot of benefits. Harvard Health states that good balance is one of them. “Your core stabilizes your body, allowing you to move in any direction, even on the bumpiest terrain, or stand in one spot without losing your balance. Viewed this way, core exercises can lessen your risk of falling.”

3. She Does Pilates

Szohr likes to do Pilates to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing exercises and stretches on a reformer. Szohr captioned the post, “Exercise = Extra Fries… right?” Better Health states that Pilates has a lot of benefits. “Pilates (or the Pilates method) is a series of exercises inspired by calisthenics, yoga and ballet. Pilates promotes mobility and strength of all the major muscle groups in the body in a balanced fashion, whilst also having a key focus on the deep core muscles. It improves posture, flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness.”

4. She Hikes

Szohr shared these photos on Instagram of herself hiking. Piedmont states that hiking has a lot of benefits. “Going up and down hills gets the heart pumping, creating a great cardio workout. Like most cardio exercises, hiking helps reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and even some cancers. Hiking is a weight-bearing exercise, which builds muscle mass and helps prevent osteoporosis.”

5. She Zip Lines

Jessica SzohrJessica Szohr/Instagram

Szohr likes to zip line. In 2022, she shared these photos and a video on Instagram of her family on a ropes course. She captioned the post, “If I can’t make it to Times Square, I’ll just climb trees and zip line with my family! Sending my heart and sweat to all the New Yorkers showing up to workout at @festivalofny with my friends @theparisberelc & @rjathayde from @phantomfit.”

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
