1. She Strength Trains

As you can see from her Instagram post, Light likes to strength train to stay in shape. The Mayo Clinic recommends doing strength training exercises as a way to build strong bones, and to help with weight loss. “By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories.”

2. She Does Cardio

Light is also seen doing cardio workouts in her Instagram post. The Mayo Clinic states that cardio has a lot of benefits. “During aerobic activity, you repeatedly move large muscles in your arms, legs and hips. You'll notice your body's responses quickly. You'll breathe faster and more deeply. This maximizes the amount of oxygen in your blood. Your heart will beat faster, which increases blood flow to your muscles and back to your lungs.”

3. She Does Slides

Light makes sure to do ab workouts. One of her favorite workouts to do is slides. Light shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them in different directions. She captioned the post, “The 15 Minute Fit Slide workout series in the ZGYM is one of my favorites for strengthening abs and core. If you implement these workouts into your weekly schedule often, you’ll see great results.”

4. She Works Out Regularly

Light makes sure to workout on a regular basis. She encouraged others to do the same in the caption of this Instagram post. “To all my female friends and hard working women out there:

It doesn’t matter what your starting point is. You can be a complete beginner, non athletic, not coordinated, and completely out of shape. You don’t have to be in shape to start exercising - that’s the whole point of doing beginner workouts at first. You don’t need to have lofty goals either. I have members that push themselves every week, are ripped and feel like super heroes. And then I have women that just want to feel good. That’s what the daily exercise and mobility routines will give you. It will make you feel so much better in your body. You’ll get rid off any stagnant energy that makes you feel yucky, and improve blood flow to all your organs 👉 the real fountain of youth ✨”

5. She Eats Healthy

Light makes sure to eat healthy. She shared some of her diet secrets in the caption of this Instagram post. “I increased my protein intake. I eat vegetables and fermented veggies with every meal. I eat high quality fats like MCT oil, coconut oil, avocados, olive oil…My daily supplements are: Omega 3 fish oil, Creatine, Whey Protein (I take some other vitamins and supplements but these 3 are consistent).”
