Nicole Scherzinger in Two-Piece Workout Gear Adds "Weights to a Dance"
Nicole Scherzinger is dancing – with weights! In a new social media post the Pussycat Dolls singer flaunts her amazing body in exercise clothes while showing off her dance moves during a seriously intense sweat session. "Feelin 💅🏽 but what was I thinking adding weights to a dance 😅🫠," she captioned the post. "Y'all got to try this !!" she added in the comments. At one point, she even breaks into the splits! How can you get in shape like the singer? Here are her best diet, fitness, and lifestyle tips.
Burn Fat by Intermittent Fasting
"I'm not on the grind as much with my workouts, so I'm intermittent fasting," Nicole tells Women's Health about her fat-bruning hack. Intermittent fasting works by "prolonging the period when your body has burned through the calories consumed during your last meal and begins burning fat," explains Johns Hopkins Medicine. However, she still enjoys breakfast foods for lunch. "I love eggs and gluten-free bread with a side of smoked salmon or some ham." Sometimes she will add a side of sliced cherry tomatoes or avocado. "They're just my favorite," she says. Salads are another go-to.
Drink Tea
Tea, which may boost your immune system, fight off inflammation, and even ward off cancer and heart disease according to studies, is on Nicole's daily menu. "I wake up and have a cup of tea, usually [VAHDAM's] Mint Melody Green Tea or their Turmeric Spiced Herbal Tea, and then I usually won't eat until the afternoon," she says.
Snack Healthy
Nicole keeps her body fueled with healthy snacks like raw almonds, cherry tomatoes, snap peas. Himalayan salt popcorn, and dark chocolate with sea salt or almonds. "If I have some frozen fruit laying around, I'll make an oat milk smoothie," she says. "Sometimes I'll put turmeric powder in it, which is delicious and anti-inflammatory." She also loves salt and vinegar flavored potato chips and Cheetos. It's "real Cheetos or the fire hot ones," she says.
Do High Intensity Workouts
Nicole prefers intense workouts. "I like to switch it up and try new things, but, most recently, I've just been pretty consistent with more HIIT workouts," she told Women's Health. She likes to do circuits which involve HIIT exercises, running on the treadmill, HIIT exercises again, and then more cardio. "I feel like I get more results that way," she explained. She works out three to six times per week.
Mix in Cycling, Climbing, Boxing, and Dance Cardio
Nicole keeps her body shocked with different types of exercise. "I love doing everything from SoulCycle spinning and climbing to boxing and dance cardio," she added to Women's Health. "It's really good to always keep your body guessing and to always switch it up." She also balances out hardcore workouts with long walks. "You can't grind all the time, you need that balance," she said.
