1. She Uses An Exercise Bike

In her Instagram post, Smart is seen using an exercise bike. Penn State PRO Wellness states that this has a lot of health benefits. “Riding a stationary exercise bike is an efficient and effective way to burn calories and body fat while strengthening your heart, lungs, and muscles. Compared to some other types of cardio equipment, a stationary bicycle puts less stress on your joints, but it still provides an excellent aerobic workout.”

2. She Listens To Her Body

Smart talked about the importance of listening to her body in the caption of the Instagram post. “Today after 10 minutes on the bike I decided to leave the gym. If I had taken a moment to listen to my body before I left for the gym, l would’ve instead gone to my local cafe with my journal and ordered my favourite chai (which is exactly where I am right now!). It’s ok if you don’t feel like a workout today. It’s ok if you get to the gym and decide to leave after 10 minutes!”

3. She Does Yoga

Smart likes to practice yoga to stay in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing poses. Smart captioned the post, “A snippet of a flow I created for my yoga assessment. I do miss these blissful moments practicing in India. The sound of the birds and monkeys, the ocean waves in the distance. Nothing else quite compares. Right now in London I’m hearing sirens, busy footsteps, and rainfall! But isn’t that a perfect example of yoga. To be practiced anywhere, anytime. Go inwards. That’s where the bliss truly is.”

4. She Hikes

Smart likes to go hiking to stay in shape. She shared these photos on Instagram of herself in Goa, India. In one, she is seen hiking on a hill. Smart captioned the post, “Postcards from India 🇮🇳. A place where my heart feels full. My mind and body feel connected. With a deep knowing that we are One. Thank you, India. Thank you, teachers.”

Smart is very grateful for her life. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing yoga. In the caption, Smart talked about the importance of gratitude. “‘Make peace with all the women you once were’, ‘for they are the bones of the temple you sit in now’. I’m grateful for who I once was, for all the choices and decisions I made, even if at the time they made no sense to me or anyone around me. I’m grateful for all past experiences.
