Frida Aasen is a very successful model who shares a lot of gorgeous posts on her Instagram. A few weeks ago, she took a trip to the South of France. Aasen shared some photos from the trip on Instagram at that time. In them, she modeled a white workout top, shorts, and hat. How does she stay so fit? 1. She Uses A Resistance Band

Aasen shares a lot of her workout videos on Instagram. In this video, she shared a full-body workout. In the video, Aasen is seen doing donkey kicks and squat jumps with a resistance band. Better Health states that resistance training has a lot of benefits. “Physical and mental health benefits that can be achieved through resistance training include: Improved muscle strength and tone – to protect your joints from injury. Maintaining flexibility and balance, which can help you remain independent as you age. Weight management and increased muscle-to-fat ratio – as you gain muscle, your body burns more kilojoules when at rest.”

2. She Uses Weights

In the previous Instagram video, Aasen is seen doing Russian twists and side squats with a high knee with weights. ACE Fitness states that using weights has a lot of benefits. “Using heavy weights increases intramuscular coordination, the number of type II motor units and the amount of muscle fibers engaged within a specific muscle. Have you ever felt your muscles shaking while lifting heavy weights? This is because you are recruiting and activating the larger type II muscle fibers, which are only stimulated to work when a muscle is challenged with heavy resistance or working to fatigue.”

3. She Does Russian Twists

In her Instagram video, Aasen is seen doing Russian twists. Gymless reports that this is a great exercise to do. “Russian twists target all the muscles in your core, especially the rectus abdominis and obliques, which makes this exercise an all-inclusive ab workout. This will result in a stronger core that reaps the benefits of improving balance, and creating stability in the spine altogether. A stronger core facilitates better posture, which can result in advantages such as a reduction in back pain.”

4. She Does Side Planks

In her Instagram video, Aasen is seen pulling herself up into a side plank. Gymless states that planks are a great workout. “Planks are great for targeting your midsection as they engage all the core muscle groups, such as the transverse abdominis, rectus abdominis, and obliques. If it is superset with other core exercises, supplemented with a controlled diet, and regular cardio exercise, you will see your abs chiseled and sculpted. According to PubMed, the front plank with a brace can be considered the most effective exercise in activating the external obliques.”

5. She Does Squats

Aasen likes to do squats to stay in shape. In her Instagram video, she is seen doing squat jumps.
