Read on to see 5 ways Brookliyn Wren stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

Wren also shared this set of photos of herself in the water from the same trip. She captioned that post, “I ain’t picking up. I’m in Turks lil baby.” Wake Forest University states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Unlike many other forms of cardio, swimming uses a wide range of muscles. In addition to toning your whole body, swimming builds both strength and endurance. If you have injuries or sore joints, swimming is great for your body. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or just looking for a low-impact alternative, swimming is much less jarring than other forms of exercise.”

2. She Paddleboards

Swimming isn’t the only water exercise Wren likes to do. She also loves to paddleboard. While on her Turks & Caicos vacation. Wren did some paddleboarding. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself doing so. She captioned the post, “This place is magic.” Paddleboarding can improve balance. Bethany Village states that doing balance exercises has a lot of benefits. “Balance training has been shown to help older adults enhance some cognitive functions, such as memory and spatial cognition. Balance exercises are also a good way to ease into a consistent fitness routine, which can provide even greater cognitive benefits. Regular exercise of moderate intensity, such as walking, helps to protect memory and thinking skills. If you’re new to exercise or coming back from a period of inactivity, focusing on balance first can get your body ready for more difficult activities and reduce the risk of injury.”

3. She Does Pilates

According to this Tweet, Wren likes to do Pilates. According to The Cleveland Clinic, Pilates has a lot of health benefits. “If you’ve been looking for a new workout routine that can give you a good balance of flexibility, strength, muscle tone and help for a few aches and pains, Pilates may be the answer. It might look a bit intimidating at first, but it’s much easier to get into — and, depending on what you do, less expensive — than you might assume. While Pilates has been around for nearly 100 years, it continues gaining traction, picking up new devotees all the time. Part of the reason it’s become such a popular mode of exercise is that it’s customizable to fit you and your health goals, regardless of your age, sex, health status and fitness level.”

4. She Dances

Wren likes to dance and takes classes. She shared these videos on Instagram of herself doing choreography. She captioned the post, “A little treat because today is the 1 year anniversary of @theladiesroomlv so proud of @courtneycoacoa for starting this, and dedicating so much time and energy to every class, dance and performance. If you were there from day 1, you know just how far this class has come! Lol if you haven’t been, def come dance your asses off with us.”

5. She Horseback Rides

Wren likes to horseback ride to stay in shape. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself riding on the beach. Wren captioned the post, “Thanks to this nice man I got to ride his horse for a minute, and it was the best thing ever.” Freedom Hooves Therapeutic Riding Center states that riding has a lot of benefits. “Riding a horse moves the rider’s body in a manner similar to a human gait, so riders with physical needs often show improvement in flexibility, balance and muscle strength.”

Tatiana Suarez is training hard in her workout gear. In a new social media post the UFC fighter shows off her super strong body in a two-piece set during a Sin City sweat session. “Two grappling sessions this Monday! Training to be the best every day! Let’s go 👊🏼🤼‍♀️,” she captioned the Instagram video and photo. “Champ,” commented one of her followers, while several others added fire emojis. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. People Tried to Talk Her Out of Wrestling

Tatiana felt pressured to stay away from wrestling as a kid."I was three years old when I started wrestling, and my whole life, people told me I shouldn't," she told Women's Health. "I would wrestle with their sons, and they'd be like, 'You're so cute. You should probably go do tennis.' And I'm like, 'I think tennis is great, but I'm wrestling, and I just beat your son. So maybe he should go do a different sport, not me.'"

2. Neck Injury and Cancer Treatment

Thyroid,Cancer,Word,Alphabet,Letters,On,Puzzle.,Healthcare,And,MedicalShutterstock

In 2011 Tatiana suffered a neck injury and while being treated, doctors discovered a cancerous tumor on her thyroid. She took a day-by-day approach to recovery. "I had to keep my diet a certain way, and I had to do certain exercises for my neck every day, and they were so tedious and boring," says Tatiana. "Not only that, but I couldn't do what I love, which is to go live and do my sport." Focusing on what she could control and letting go of what she couldn't helped her get through it all. "It's always easier said than done," she says. "But it's a constant battle."

3. Proper Nutrition

She also focused on adding lean muscle while staying light enough to transition to 115 pounds (the strawweight division) when it was time to compete again. "I ate a lot of high-protein foods and healthy fats like olive oil on salad, chicken, steak, eggs, and avocado," she says. "I also incorporated fish oil, creatine for when I spar, and Thorne's Curcumin Phytosome, which helps a lot with my inflammation." She avoids sugar and processed foods.

4. Jiu Jitsu and Boxing

"I'm a great wrestler, I know I'm great at jujitsu, I'm great at kicking," Tatiana says. "So right now, I've been focusing a lot on boxing because I know that it's probably my weakest thing. It's also given me a newfound respect for boxers."

5. Training 7 Days a Week

Tatiana trains seven days a week. Her workouts include cardio, strength training, jujitsu, and physical therapy. "I can't wrestle yet. I drill it, but I can't bend my knee all the way," says Tatiana. "When I'm in [training] camp, there's not so much emphasis on cardio just because I do cardio throughout my workouts.”

Carla Esparza is a professional MMA Fighter. Last month, she showed up to Fight Week to support a friend, and shared highlights on Instagram. Esparza captioned the post, “Fight week for @luanapinheiromma !! It was great to get a couple sessions in before you left for your fight, feelin sharp! Luana is such a hard worker, and picks up things very quickly. I’m grateful to have her as a friend and partner, kick butt this Saturday 💪🏽👊🏽😤 #TeamOyama”

She Uses Proper Technique

Esparza makes sure to use proper technique when she’s fighting. She shared some things people need to look out for in the caption of this Instagram video. “2 of the most common mistakes I see with the single. 1.) Having a gap between body and the single leg. This will often cause the head to pop off as you spin to finish the single leg dump. (One exception to this variation is if you have the single leg straightened/extended with the lace, an ideal variation for people with long limbs). 2.) Not keeping the center leg planted as you spin. This can cause you and your opponent to continue to spin together.”

She Swims

Esparza likes to swim to keep herself in shape. While on her babymoon in Bermuda, Esparza did some snorkeling. She shared some photos of herself doing so in this Instagram post, captioning it, “TBT to last week in Bermuda for our babymoon 👶🏻 🌙! Said goodbye to my 2nd trimester (now almost 29weeks😮!). Our final trip as a twosome was amazing, but can’t wait to meet our biggest adventure, our baby boy💙😍. Farewell Bermuda, I will miss your pink sand beaches, caves, and shipwreck snorkeling most of all😊 #bermudatriangle.”

She Surfs

Esparza also likes to go surfing to keep herself in shape. She decided to ride the waves while on a vacation in Costa Rica. Esparza included some surfing photos in this Instagram post. She captioned the post, “Surfin mama (to be) 🏄🏻♀️! Wonderful time in Costa Rica for a beautiful wedding. Pura vida!🤙🏽”

She's Consistent

Esparza makes sure to workout on a regular basis. She shared some of her favorites in this Instagram video. Esparza also talked about consistency in the caption. “In all seriousness, I’ve tried to maintain 4-5 light workouts a week, eat clean, pelvic floor therapy, plenty of water, and rest throughout my pregnancy to do my best to ensure a speedy recovery, healthy pregnancy and labor. Though sometimes no matter what we do, some things like certain pregnancy symptoms and things that come up in labor are out of our control, we definitely can do everything in our power to give ourselves the best chances of success. This is how I like to view my fights, sometimes we can’t control what goes on in the cage, but we can do our best to hedge our bets by training smart, dieting, flexibility, rest, etc. 4 weeks left, wish me the best for a smooth final stretch and labor 😁”

She Works Hard

Esparza talked about her martial arts training and goals in an interview with UFC. “I think anyone’s perfect scenario is like, boom, you walk out, one punch, knockout. For me, I’d definitely like a chance to display all the work that I’ve been doing. I’ve been doing a lot of work in jiu jitsu, I’ve been sharpening up my striking, so I’m hoping that I can real

Erin Blanchfield is getting ready for UFC Edmonton – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post the flyweight shows off her amazing body in an exercise set while sharing her excitement for her upcoming fight, one week away. Her followers went wild over the post. “You look like you are ready for your next challenge. Time to rise and shine,” one of them commented. “Cold-Blooded. 💪🏼😏🥋,” added another, while many others commented with fire emojis. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1. A Background in Martial Arts

When Erin was just 7, she started training in jiujitsu and competing in kickboxing and grappling tournaments. “I got into martial arts when I was 7 years old,” she told The Montclarian. “My brother was training and I went in to watch him and was offered a free class. I fell in love with the training and got into competing soon after.”

2. MMA Fighters Were Her Role Models

“There were always MMA fighters at the gyms I trained at growing up,” Blanchfield continued. “I always looked up to them. Once the UFC [Ultimate Fighting Championship] opened up women’s divisions, I knew fighting MMA was what I wanted to do.” Now she trains six days a week, using her same trainers for many years. “I’ve been training with my striking coach Augie Matias since I was 15 and my jiujitsu coach Frankie Roberts since I was 16,” she said. “They both have cornered me in all my professional fights and I couldn’t thank them enough.” She owes a lot of her success to them. “They both have helped me become the fighter I currently am and are always pushing me to become the best athlete I could be.”

3. Coffee

Erin is a coffee drinker. “Cappuccino pls,” she captioned a recent Instagram photo.

4. Cycling

As part of her training, Erin cycles. Here she is in Las Vegas cycling to improve her cardiovascular fitness.

5. Focus on Improvement

Erin focuses on progress, not perfection. “I feel like, every fight, you can see my improvements, and I feel like I’m always trying to improve after each one too,” she told New York Post. “I think these past few fights, I’ve had to strike more because it’s been hard to get the takedown, so you’ve just been able to see my striking more, even if it was kind of already at that level.”

Ana Zelu is a professional model and social media influencer. She is known for her content in nature. Zelu recently shared a post on Instagram of herself on a surfboard in the ocean. She captioned it, “Yesterday was such a fun shoot, I just had to share these with you 🤍 🛥️But picture number #4?? That photobomb totally got me 😂 Which picture is your favorite ?🌊”

She Swims

As you can see from her post, Zelu likes to swim. The Mayo Clinic states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is often touted as a great workout for all ages, offering benefits not only for the body, but also for the mind. As a form of exercise, swimming keeps your heart rate up and builds muscle strength. It also can be a great form of stress relief.”

She Doesn't Compare Herself to Others

Zelu shares a lot of her thoughts on Instagram. In this post, she talked about no longer comparing herself to others. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today’s contemplation led me to a profound understanding of the detrimental impact comparison has on our lives. It’s like a silent intruder, subtly creeping into our thoughts and poisoning our perception of ourselves and others. It’s a universal struggle, one that weighs heavily on the hearts of many. I’ve come to realize that comparison is the ultimate thief of joy. It robs us of our ability to appreciate our own journey and achievements, as we constantly measure ourselves against an idealized version of others. I’ve resolved to break free from its grasp. We should choose to celebrate our own unique path, recognizing that each step forward is a triumph in itself. Rather than fixating on external benchmarks set by others, I’m focusing on personal growth and development. Whether it’s through learning new skills, cultivating gratitude, or simply practicing self-compassion, every effort counts.”

She Hikes

Zelu is seen on a hike in the previous Instagram post. Harvard Health states that hiking is very beneficial. “Like brisk walking, hiking is a good way to improve your cardiovascular fitness, particularly if your route includes some hills, which will force your heart to work harder. Taking a hike on the slightly uneven surface of a trail also provides a natural way to engage the core muscles in your torso and to hone your balance skills.”

She’s Resilient

Resilience is another important thing to Zelu. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Dear Diary 💭📝, I witnessed something truly remarkable that touched my heart deeply. It’s amazing how people can go through the toughest storms in life and yet remain gentle, patient, and kind. I saw someone who faced challenges that would break most people, yet they chose to respond with grace and humility. Their ability to stay calm and compassionate in the face of adversity is nothing short of admirable. It made me realize the beauty of resilience – the strength to keep going even when life throws its hardest punches. These individuals not only endure the storms but also emerge from them with a spirit that shines brighter than before. Their example reminds me of the power of kindness and the importance of staying true to oneself, even in the darkest of times. It’s a reminder that even in the midst of chaos, there is beauty to be found 💕🫶”

She’s Accepted Herself

Zelu talked about the importance of acceptance in this Instagram post’s caption. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but amidst it all, I feel like I’ve taken a step closer to the right direction. Letting go of the past is like shedding a heavy coat I’ve been carrying for far too long. It’s not easy to release the memories, the pain, the regrets, but today, I made a choice to loosen the grip they had on me. It’s like taking a deep breath after being underwater for too long—refreshing and liberating. Forgiving myself has been a journey filled with tears and moments of self-doubt. But today, I finally understood that I deserve the same forgiveness and understanding I give to others. It’s like giving myself a warm hug, wrapping myself in kindness and acceptance.”
