I love the sauna and I know it’s extremely healthy for you, and I know it helps me prepare for the weight cut when it gets closer to the fight, being able to sweat and lose as much water as possible without losing my real muscle mass. I love it because it’s very healing and it helps with the soreness also.”

I can even get my husband to do a facemask here and there. Kick butt in the gym, relax, pamper and love everywhere else’s.”

1. She Isn’t Afraid To Speak Up

VanZant isn’t afraid to speak up for herself, and she doesn’t let sexism hold her back. She tells The Guardian that she wants other women to feel the same. “That’s a big problem for women. We’re taught never to hurt men’s feelings. We need to teach women to stand up for themselves. When you get that voice inside that says, ‘No, stop,’ instead of worrying about hurting somebody’s feelings you need to listen to yourself: ‘Hey this is a bad situation. I need to go home and not feel sorry.’”

2. She’s An Advocate For Survivors

Advocate,Word,Made,With,Building,BlocksShutterstock

In her memoir, VanZant revealed that she is a survivor of sexual assault. She revealed this around the time the Me Too movement took off. VanZant tells The Guardian she wants to be an advocate for others who have been in the same situation“It was amazing it started right before my book came out. So I felt huge support and that I wasn’t doing this by myself. It felt liberating to get the story out but the pain doesn’t just go away. It’s also a hard lesson to learn. It's not your fault in these circumstances. I want to change that stigma. I want women to feel confident to speak up.”

3. She Uses Fighting To Feel Confident

For VanZant, fighting isn’t just her job, it’s also a way for her to feel more confident with herself. She tells The Guardian that fighting helped pull her out of a dark place. “I just started training to lift myself. I was a hidden, shy, timid person and I fell into it. I felt like I was adopted into this family at my first gym. I then had my first fight and when I won, I discovered I mattered. Before then, I was stuck in that victim mindset. In fighting, I found a purpose and that my presence on earth matters.”

4. She’s Grateful

VanZant has been subjected to social media haters, but she doesn’t let them get her down. “It is hard because there’s so much negative stuff on social media,” she tells The Guardia. Even now, I get depressed. I haven’t been able to train the last seven months because of my arm and I don’t see light at the end of the tunnel. But each day I count all the amazing things in my life.”

5. She Trains Hard Before Fights

VanZant has to train on a consistent basis. She revealed some of her workout secrets in an interview with Vogue. She says that she amps up her gym time when she has a fight coming up. “When I gear up for a fight I try to cut out a lot of the fun outdoorsy workouts and do a lot more training in the gym,” she says. “I do more cardio, and I run a lot if I can. I do a lot more sparring and more combat throughout the week.”

Carla Esparza is a professional MMA Fighter. Last month, she showed up to Fight Week to support a friend, and shared highlights on Instagram. Esparza captioned the post, “Fight week for @luanapinheiromma !! It was great to get a couple sessions in before you left for your fight, feelin sharp! Luana is such a hard worker, and picks up things very quickly. I’m grateful to have her as a friend and partner, kick butt this Saturday 💪🏽👊🏽😤 #TeamOyama”

She Uses Proper Technique

Esparza makes sure to use proper technique when she’s fighting. She shared some things people need to look out for in the caption of this Instagram video. “2 of the most common mistakes I see with the single. 1.) Having a gap between body and the single leg. This will often cause the head to pop off as you spin to finish the single leg dump. (One exception to this variation is if you have the single leg straightened/extended with the lace, an ideal variation for people with long limbs). 2.) Not keeping the center leg planted as you spin. This can cause you and your opponent to continue to spin together.”

She Swims

Esparza likes to swim to keep herself in shape. While on her babymoon in Bermuda, Esparza did some snorkeling. She shared some photos of herself doing so in this Instagram post, captioning it, “TBT to last week in Bermuda for our babymoon 👶🏻 🌙! Said goodbye to my 2nd trimester (now almost 29weeks😮!). Our final trip as a twosome was amazing, but can’t wait to meet our biggest adventure, our baby boy💙😍. Farewell Bermuda, I will miss your pink sand beaches, caves, and shipwreck snorkeling most of all😊 #bermudatriangle.”

She Surfs

Esparza also likes to go surfing to keep herself in shape. She decided to ride the waves while on a vacation in Costa Rica. Esparza included some surfing photos in this Instagram post. She captioned the post, “Surfin mama (to be) 🏄🏻♀️! Wonderful time in Costa Rica for a beautiful wedding. Pura vida!🤙🏽”

She's Consistent

Esparza makes sure to workout on a regular basis. She shared some of her favorites in this Instagram video. Esparza also talked about consistency in the caption. “In all seriousness, I’ve tried to maintain 4-5 light workouts a week, eat clean, pelvic floor therapy, plenty of water, and rest throughout my pregnancy to do my best to ensure a speedy recovery, healthy pregnancy and labor. Though sometimes no matter what we do, some things like certain pregnancy symptoms and things that come up in labor are out of our control, we definitely can do everything in our power to give ourselves the best chances of success. This is how I like to view my fights, sometimes we can’t control what goes on in the cage, but we can do our best to hedge our bets by training smart, dieting, flexibility, rest, etc. 4 weeks left, wish me the best for a smooth final stretch and labor 😁”

She Works Hard

Esparza talked about her martial arts training and goals in an interview with UFC. “I think anyone’s perfect scenario is like, boom, you walk out, one punch, knockout. For me, I’d definitely like a chance to display all the work that I’ve been doing. I’ve been doing a lot of work in jiu jitsu, I’ve been sharpening up my striking, so I’m hoping that I can real

Paige VanZant, the AEW fighter, is, needless to say, fit. And she has extra energy, finding time to appear on Dancing with the Stars and Chopped. Her fans recently asked which superhero powers she’d want. “Would you rather have super speed or the ability to fly,” she was asked in an Instagram Q+A. (She’d want to fly.) She also shared a photo in a swimsuit and captioned it: “The Life.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Paige VanZant stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. This Has Been Her Workout

VanZant was asked about her workout a while back. “Every day is different it depends on what day of the week it is,” says VanZant to Vogue. “We have lots of classes, wrestling, jujitsu. I do a lot of Pilates, yoga, CrossFit as well. I also try to include one relaxing workout through the week like hiking.”

2. CrossFit Works

CrossFit is a great way to build strength. “Strength training can help you tone your muscles and improve your appearance. With a regular strength training program, you can reduce your body fat, increase bone strength, increase your lean muscle mass and burn calories more efficiently,” says the Mayo Clinic. “Better yet, strength training doesn't have to take as long as you might think. Do strength exercises for all the major muscle groups at least two times a week. Aim to do one set of each exercise using a weight or resistance level heavy enough to tire your muscles after about 12 to 15 repetitions and stamina over time.”

3. She Developed a Healthy Approach to Eating

Trying to make her weight for feights was detrimental to her health. She told People: “I was at a fight where a fellow UFC fighter, Uriah Hall, was cutting weight and he pushed himself just to the brink of death. He had kidney failure and started seizing in the hallway right in front of me,” she said. “It’s because of that I’m like ‘I can’t do this anymore.’” “I recently went up to the Flyweight division which is 10 lbs. heavier, which is a huge difference,” she added.

4. She Eats Veggies

UFC Fighter PortraitsMike Roach/Zuffa LLC/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images

While getting healthy in fight camp, VanZant ate meals high in protein and healthy vegetables. For example: “Spinach is high in vitamins A and C and folate. It's also a good source of magnesium. The plant compounds in spinach may boost your immune system. The carotenoids found in spinach — beta carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin — also are protective against age-related vision diseases, such as macular degeneration, as well as heart disease and some types of cancer,” says the Mayo Clinic.

5. She Ups Her Protein

“Protein is made up of essential and non-essential amino acids. A complete protein source is one that contains all nine essential amino acids to support human dietary needs,” says the Cleveland Clinic. “Not only does a complete protein contain all essential amino acids, but it also contains them in perfect proportion in terms of biological function. Great examples include whey (dairy sources), lean meat, egg whites and soy.”

So, how does she stay in such incredible shape? From strength training to boxing, here’s a look at her go-to fitness moves.

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram post, Sharvari is seen doing a strength training exercise. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Sharvari captioned the post, “BEAST MODE on for Vedaa! ⚠️☠️🥊 Took up boxing to become Vedaa... She Runs

She captioned the post, “Decided to seas the day!” Better Health says that running is very beneficial. “Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Natasa Stankovic in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Wednesday Challenge"

Stankovic shares her go-to workout moves, from squats to lunges, cardio, Pilates, and strength training.

Entertainment India - March 2023

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Kim French in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Real Results" Workout

Learn how she sculpts her powerhouse physique with deadlifts, lunges, squats, and more.

Kim French is more than just a personal trainer—she’s a fitness coach who empowers thousands through her Believe App and Instagram workouts. Known for her structured, effective home training plans, she proves that you don’t need a gym full of heavy weights to build serious strength.

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

French is seen doing hamstring curls in her Instagram post. According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
