Singer and actress Paloma Faith is back home after a magical trip to Mallorca, Spain. Faith, 42, shared highlights from her trip, including a snap of herself sunbathing on a stripey yellow and white towel, wearing a pink bikini. “Just got back from holidays in Mallorca where I realized I speak ‘survival Spanish’ (not bad considering I wasn’t raised with my dad speaking to me in Spanish) , that I can single handedly do a flight with two kids alone, that I love the company of my kids but it’s easier with others around, that I am blessed in a million ways and will always be grateful,” she captioned the post. Faith is looking better by the year—here are 5 ways she works on her fitness.
1. No Dairy, No Wheat

Faith follows a clean diet with room for treats. “I try to stick to a certain diet all the time and then when I feel like I feel a reward I have it,” she says. “I try to stick to no dairy, no sugar, no wheat. I eat rice and potatoes but I cut out bread and pasta as it makes me bloat. I try not to eat chocolate but I love it. My big thing is Italian ice cream, especially Nutella.”
2. Running For Cardio

Faith goes running, but admits it’s not her favorite exercise. “I go running three times a week - outside in the park, come rain or shine, and I HATE every moment of it,” she says. “I hate everything about it. But I know it's important for health reasons and the reason why I run in particular, is because my stage work is like cardiovascular work so I don't want to lose my breath on stage.”
3. Postpartum Wellness
Faith bounced back into shape after giving birth by overhauling her lifestyle. "It's a shame and it isn't a shame,” she says. “It's a shame because I felt a pressure socially, but also it's good for you to try to eat well. I've never been someone who has been ill with it, so I wanted to do it for myself. Also I like challenges - I've never had to lose weight before in my life properly and I had to lose three stone. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done after childbirth.”
4. How She Lost Weight

Faith lost weight by focusing on portion sizes and doing high-intensity workouts several times a week. “I reduced my portion size to about a cereal bowl size,” she says. “I work out four times a week and I still do it. I do a mixture of different things like cardio, boxing and weights."
5. Beauty and Self-Confidence
Faith believes that beauty comes from self-confidence. “I was brought up by a family of women, and a lot of early conversations were about color coordination and sequins,” she says. “My ethos is to straddle the line between self-preservation and enjoyment. It is a thin line. I can tell that when I wear make-up and perfume, people treat me differently to when I don't. I think there are many elements to self-confidence, and beauty is certainly one of them, but if you're happy in yourself, that shows on the outside. Marilyn Monroe is my ultimate icon. She worked with what she had and made it beautiful.”
