Parul Gulati isn’t letting bad weather keep her from hitting the pool in her swimsuit. In a recent social media post the Indian actress shows off her amazing body in a bathing suit while taking a dip on a rainy day. “Pool Day with rainy weather … but none the less who can stop us from taking a zillion pictures,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Gorgeous,” commented one of her followers, while many others simply added fire emojis. How does the 29-year-old approach health and wellness? Celebwell rounded up her top lifestyle habits.
1. Clean Eating

“I do not follow any strict diets, but I do try to eat clean at times. And oh, I’m all about cheat meals! – Chaat is my favourite! Fries, fried momos, burgers & pizzas. If I had the chance, I’d eat all of this everyday of the week!” Parul told Women Fitness about her approach to eating.
2. Five Days of Exercise Per Week
Regular exercise is part of Parul’s approach. “I work out 5 times a week. I really don’t have a choice but to work out regularly since I eat almost everything under the sun, even though I’m vegetarian. My favorite target areas are my shoulders and glutes,” she told Women Fitness.
3. She Reads
Parul enjoys reading, a great habit for mental health and longevity. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.
4. Pilates
Gulati loves Pilates. In this video on Instagram she does a workout on a reformer. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
5. Self-Care
“It is supremely important that we take care of our bodies,” Parul told Women Fitness. “This is what 2020 has taught me and it’s all that we have, nothing else really matters. Being active & focusing on our physical and mental fitness are the things that can really help us in the long run!”
