1. She Rides Bikes
Pashmina loves to ride bikes, a low-impact aerobic exercise that is great for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance, says the Cleveland Clinic. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.
2. She Skis
In the winter, Pashmina loves hitting the slopes. “The cold never bothered me anyway,” she captioned a post. Research has linked downhill skiing to a number of health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress and the occurrence of memory deficits declines.
3. She Reads
Pashmina is a reader. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.
4. She Plays Tennis
You can find Pashmina on the tennis courts, making a racquet. According to ACE Fitness it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise, as there is a lot of running around, and hand-eye coordination. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.
5. She Does Strength and Weight Training
Pashmina does an intense HIIT circuit consisting of lots of combination moves and weights, targeting her arms, abs, and legs. She also runs on the treadmill as part of her workout. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.
