Austin Richard Post, known to the world as Post Malone, is one of our favorite singers and rappers. The star has also explored country music and was dubbed Billboard's No. 4 biggest artist of the 21st century in January 2025. Malone is on fire, having sold more than 80 million records. One burning question that fans want to know? "Is Post Malone single?" We checked it out and are revealing what we know about the singer's current relationship status.
Post Malone Was Engaged
Let's hit rewind back to 2021, when Malone proposed to his girlfriend in Las Vegas, according to Page Six. His partner was never identified in the public eye.
The singer seemed quite smitten, telling Howard Stern in 2022, "I met a really beautiful person that made me feel like a human being again," referring to his then-fiancée. "It's the guidance out of the dark into the light … She saved my f-king life—it's pretty epic."
In 2023, Malone shared with Alex Cooper on Call Her Daddy how the engagement went down. "I had lost a significant amount of money at the table. We go upstairs and I'm off my rocker hammered and I was like, 'Hey, you wanna marry me?' I got a ring and all this stuff. And she said 'no.' She's like, 'Ask me tomorrow' and I was like, 'Alright.' And then I did, and I was sober, and it was nice."
The "I Had Some Help" singer added, "I could tell… her heart is so massive. I've always wanted kids and a big family. And I could tell she was going to be a really good mama. And she's like, No. 1 mom in the f-king universe."
The couple had a daughter together in 2022.
Malone never divulged his daughter's full name on social media or beyond, but he had her initials "DDP" tattooed on his forehead.
It appears that the birth of his daughter may have put the brakes on Malone's partying a bit, something that challenged the earlier days of his relationship, according to Apple Music.
"There used to be a time, especially at the beginning of our relationship, that I would just disappear for a week. And I was like, 'Oh man, that's so shady. I'm such a turd.' But now I don't, and it's been surprisingly easy because this is the stuff I've always wanted to do." Malone said.

The Breakup Speculation
Fast-forward to 2025, and we aren't sure if things are "Better Now" for the singer's love life or not.
In early March, TMZ posted a fan photo and footage that's causing quite the stir. It depicts Malone sitting at a bar and getting close with a female, Christy Lee. TMZ also has photographs of the pair having a bite to eat while in Rome this past January.
Although the singer has not officially commented on his relationship status, fans believe Lee to be his rumored new girlfriend. Stay tuned for any updates.
