Preity Zinta is an actress, known for her work in Hindi films. Zinta has appeared in films like, Dil Se, Soldier, Heaven On Earth, and Armaan. In a recent Instagram post, Zinta decided to hit the gym. She put on a t-shirt, hoodie, and yoga pants, looking ready to sweat. Zinta captioned the photo, “Back in the Bay. Back to work.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Preity Zinta stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Does Yoga

Zinta shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is practice yoga. Zinta shared these photos of herself in different poses. She captioned the post, “Yoga is the best thing for your health & for your mental health. Indoors or outdoors all you need is the intent to do something for yourself to feel better & live a longer, healthier & happier life.”

2. She Does Pilates

Another thing Zinta does to stay in shape is practice Pilates. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing stretches on equipment and with the help of a trainer. Zinta captioned the post, “Travelling across continents & across India on various flights has been tough on the body. I can handle jet lag but not a stiff back. Thank god for Pilates. Nothing a good stretch cannot fix. Thank you Yas for always watching my back. Love you loads.”

3. She Works Out With Others

Zinta doesn’t always like to workout alone. She is often seen working out with a trainer or friend. Zinta shared this gym video on Instagram of herself working with someone else. She captioned the post, “Back in the Gym after a while. What better motivation than a buddy workout with my darling Su ❤️ Thank you for pushing me & thank you for doing this workout with me.”

4. She Works Her Abs

Zinta works out her entire body. Including her abs. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing core workouts. In it, Zinta is seen doing candlesticks. She captioned the post, “Back to the gym. After going out non stop for a week. It’s time to calm down & work on my core.” The Mayo Clinic states that ab and core workouts are important. “Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes. Strong core muscles help athletes, such as runners. That's because weak core muscles can lead to more fatigue, less endurance and injuries.”

5. She Hikes

Zinta likes to go hiking to stay in shape. She shared these photos on Instagram of herself and her husband after hiking Machu Picchu. Zinta captioned the photos, “Us after a 16km uphill hike on the Inka Trail to Machu Picchu 😍 Wow !!! What a view… What a hike!” The National Parks Service states that hiking has a lot of benefits. “Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between. Check out all of these physical benefits of hiking: Building stronger muscles and bones. Improving your sense of balance. Improving your heart health. Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems.”
