How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
She Avoids Negativity
Rachel tries to avoid negativity by not paying attention and “not attacking those who attack me because they have their own issues,” she wrote in a post. “I’m me, I’m blessed, I’m happy and I’m going to get back on track! No more reading into the negative comments and hate for me 🙅🏽♀️ just pure positivity from here on out! Because people are either going to hate or love you! I have nothing to prove nor do I no longer want to have to prove anything for those who haven’t got to meet me and get to know me in real life. I don’t have the energy for the hate anymore.”
Horseback Riding
Rachel likes to get outside and reap the health benefits of horseback riding. The American Heart Association explains that riding horses is excellent for your health. It boosts cardiovascular health, builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.
Skiing and Snowboarding
Rachel loves winter sports. “Do you ski or snowboard? I started skiing as a kid, got bored so I learned how to board,” she captioned a photo while on a snowboarding trip to Aspen. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, and diabetes, the frequency of mental stress and the occurrence of memory deficits declines. According to the University of Rochester, snowboarding, like skiing, is a great cardiovascular workout. “Because they are also weight-bearing exercises, they strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles,” they say. “Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also reduce your risk for chronic diseases and lower blood pressure. They also help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer.”
Hiking
Hiking, “one of the best ways to get exercise,” according to the National Parks Service, is also part of her routine. “No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between,” they say. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems.
A "Healthy and Fun Filled Life"
“My goal is to inspire and empower as many people as I can. I aspire to live a healthy and fun filled life others can look up to,” Bush writes on her fitness website, which is full of workout and meal plans. “I aspire to live a healthy and fun filled life others can look up to. With hard work and dedication you can achieve anything! Starting from a young age I was set on making a name for myself. Now I am blessed with an amazing life full of endless opportunities and beautiful family. On my website you will be able to follow my journey as well as purchase my products.”
