Raine Michaels is the daughter of legendary rock musician, Bret Michaels. She is also a model and sports journalist. One sport she enjoys playing is pickleball. 1. She Plays Pickleball

As you can see from her post, Michaels likes to play pickleball. The sport has a lot of health benefits. Renown Health states, “Hitting and receiving the ball can help improve your hand-eye coordination and balance. It helps your mind stay sharp, supports cognitive function and builds footwork skills. Moving your whole body during the game allows your joints to stay flexible.”
2. She’s Vegan
Michaels is open about being a vegan. She not only eats vegan, but she chooses other vegan products. Michaels talked about her lifestyle in this Instagram video. She captioned it, “Welcome to a day in my vegan life! ✨ I did a collab with @peta to show off my vegan wardrobe, rescue pups, and some delicious eats made with plants 💚🌱🐶 Join us in making kinder choices to help animals daily!”
3. She’s Grounded

Michaels talked about how she stayed grounded while being a celebrity child to Rock 105.3. “My dad comes from a very hardworking background. He had to make everything on his own. And then my mom as well, she's from Canada, a really tiny town, so they both really worked hard to where they are. It's great values and is so kind. They never raised me to be bratty or anything in that way. So I just, I don't know. And I hate mean people. I don't know. And I am Canadian so I feel like that has to do with it.”
4. She Rides Horses
Michaels spends a lot of time with animals. One thing she likes to do is ride horses. In this Instagram post, Michaels included a video of herself riding in the water in Turks & Caicos. The American Heart Association states that riding has a lot of benefits. “One of the benefits of regular exercise is lowered blood pressure; horseback riding is exercise. Lower blood pressure can reduce the risk of heart disease. Plus just being around animals has been shown to do that as well.”
5. She Goes To The Beach
Michaels spends a lot of time outside. As you can see in the previous Instagram post, she is seen at the beach. Michaels also shared these photos of herself at the beach in Croatia. The South African College of Applied Psychology states, “Sitting on the beach is a great place to help slow you down and bring you back to the present moment. Watching and hearing waves, feeling the sand, and smelling the sea spray, all assist in focusing your attention on the here and now. Alternatively, swimming in the sea automatically also draws you into the present moment. Swimming immerses all your senses – the colour, feel and sound of the water around you, its taste and smell.”
