Real Housewife Sonja Morgan Shares Swimsuit Photo by the Pool
Sonja Morgan is indulging in self-care – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post The Real Housewives of New York and Sonja in the City star shows off her amazing body in a one-piece bathing suit while lounging poolside at the We Care Spa, where she is "prepping" for her Sonja in Your City Tour. "Headed to Anaheim and San Diego next🙌 Will I see you there??" she captioned the post with her Instagram followers.
Do Light Exercise
"I'm not a maniac at working out," Sonja told The Lookbook, via Bravo, about her approach to exercise. "I always think that's strange." Instead, she likes going on walks around New York City or finding activities to do with friends. "I like social sports, so if I can play a little tennis with Luann [de Lesseps] or do yoga, I'm very happy to do that."
Get Connected to Your "Spiritual Side"
Sonja maintains that losing weight has as much to do with your mind as your body. "I had to go to the desert," she said about her experience at the We Care Spa in Desert Hot Springs, California. "And get connected with my spiritual side." She added while on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen: "I'm doing what I usually do after I wrap a big season of RHONY. I am detoxing."
Do Cleanses
While at the spa, Sonja goes on a strict cleanse. "No sugar, no white food, no gluten," she said. "Actually I'm only juicing right now. I'm doing colonics. I'm taking cinnamon, cloves, garlic: everything to kill everything and keep my immunities up. Lots of green juice."
Hydrate
Sonja prioritizes hydration. She loves water with lemon, keeping two pitchers of H2O infused with lemon, mint, or basil in her fridge. She maintains that she downs "six to eight" glasses of water a day. She also drinks cherry juice. "Sour cherry juice is known to help you sleep, it's very calming and it cuts down on uric acid," she told Us about the compound that the body produces when drinking alcohol, leading to inflammation. "If you hang out with a party group like mine, sometimes it's not a bad idea."
Do Mind-Body Workouts
"I like that mind-body connection that I get when I'm in a more spiritual state, whether it's doing Zumba 'cause I'm out of my body dancing or the yoga or the Pilates," Sonja told The Lookbook.
