Remi Bader Poses In Leopard Bikini On The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway

Remi Bader is a model, influencer, and activist. Her successful career got her on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list. She’s also worked for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, and walked in their Miami Swim Week show. Remi shared some photos and videos on Instagram of herself on the runway. In them, she wore a leopard print bikini and a pale blue paisley bikini with a cowboy hat. Remi captioned the post, “Looking at these unedited photos and not wishing to change a thing reminds me how far I’ve come — not for vanity, but for my mental, emotional, and physical health. To go from not knowing if I’d ever be able to walk out of my house again a year ago, to walking that runway confidently, smiling, and not thinking twice about what anyone else saw, but how good I FELT — and that’s something I’ll never take for granted. Thank you @si_swimsuit for giving me this moment.” Here are 5 of Remi Bader’s wellness secrets.
She Wants To Inspire Others
Remi has built a large platform, and she wants to use it to inspire girls who have been in similar situations. Remi talked about this in her post’s caption. “Since I started sharing my life online 5 years ago, I’ve constantly tried to figure out which box I belong in based on solely what others want me to be in and that has only been based on my appearance. But last night, I simply just stood for every girl or woman who’s felt lost about where she belongs, but still chooses to show up and put herself out there no matter what. And for once, that was enough for me.”
She Ignores The Haters
Being in the public eye means Remi has to deal with a lot of social media haters. However, she’s learned to ignore them. “Something that’s helped me recently is remembering that anyone who’s trying to bring you down is just projecting how they feel about themselves,” Remi said to Women’s Health. “It has nothing to do with you.”
She Believes In Self-Care
Remi makes sure to practice self-care each day. She shared one of her go-tos in her Women’s Health interview. “People’s minds automatically go to facials, meditation, yoga. Those are great, but try finding the simplest thing that can make you happy—even a TV show. For me, it’s Love Island.”
She’s Working On Accepting Herself
Remi is open about her struggles with body image and self-acceptance. She tells Women’s Health that she’s taking things day by day. “I’m on a journey of self-acceptance. I stop myself so much more lately when I want to say, ‘Oh, I hate how I look.’ I have bad days and good days, but I’m still moving forward.”
She Swims
Remi likes to swim to keep herself in shape. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself in the water. Remi shared these photos and videos of a trip she and some friends took to Necker Island. In them, she waded and floated in the ocean. Remi captioned the post, “Forever meant to be in water, just not on the water 🧜♀️”
