1. Divorce Diet
Bellino dealt with some dramatic physical changes after her divorce from Jim Bellino. “The divorce caused havoc on my body,” she captioned an Instagram post. “I dropped 15 lbs overnight at the beginning of it (it’s called the ‘divorce diet’ lol). Then I instantly gained 25 lbs back the minute I touched food again. So my body has been through a lot over the past 8 months. It still isn’t where I want it to be yet, but with the love & support of my beau, and @jakebarrena gnarly training sessions, and @gritcycle and @orangetheory and clean eating, I’m taking control back and in two weeks I am determined to be where I want.”
2. No Late Dinners
Bellino previously said she tends not to eat much after 6 p.m., a practice that offers many health benefits. “Researchers found that when eating earlier, they had better blood sugar regulation and improved fat metabolism, which is a factor in fat storage,” Dana Cohen, MD, told Prevention. “Eating an early and light dinner helps to improve sleep, improves digestion, boosts metabolism, and reduces blood pressure.”
3. Grace and Survival

Bellino learned to have grace with herself and meal times when first co-parenting with ex-husband Jim. "My kids are on cloud nine right now because they are getting top ramen for the first time EVER tonight,” she wrote in a social media post. “I usually cook a four course meal, and limit all junk food like top ramen and sweets, but right now is ‘grace period survival mode.’ Right now we eat on paper plates and just survive. Jim and I are juggling the kids every two days in our main home so that the kids don’t feel this transition so much ... It makes my heart happy to know that these kiddos don’t feel this- they didn’t even want a four course meal tonight. They begged for top ramen today and I caved because I don’t have the energy to say no. And all I want is to see their smiles. So I’ll do whatever it takes.”
4. Orangetheory Fan
Bellino loves Orangetheory workouts, which are based on HIIT-cardio full-body sessions. “These workouts typically cause you to burn more fat and build muscle,” the experts at UC Davis say about HIIT. “Studies have also showed that high-intensity workouts may help lower blood pressure and heart rate.”
5. Clean Diet
Bellino says eating a healthy and nutritious diet was key to her weight loss. “Clean eating nourishes your body with healthy and nutrient-dense foods,” Eileen Dutter, RD, tells the Mayo Clinic. “Clean foods fill your body with plentiful vitamins and minerals, high-quality protein and healthy fats, which improve heart and brain health, assist with weight management, build a stronger immune system and increase energy levels, among other benefits.”
