Roxy Jacenko is a socialite and businesswoman. She was a runner up on season three of The Celebrity Apprentice Australia. She also isn’t afraid to show off her body on social media. 1. She Runs On The Treadmill
Jacenko shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is run on the treadmill. Jacenko shared this photo of herself on the treadmill at the gym. She captioned the photo, “6 zoom calls down one hour to get my cardio in - shit is about to get crazyyyyy.”
2. She Jet-Skis
Jacenko spends a lot of time at the beach, and shares a lot of beach photos and videos on her Instagram. One thing she likes to do at the beach is ride jet-skis. In this video, Jacenko is seen jumping on a jet-ski. She captioned the post, “Really it deserved a place on the grid. My fav pastime 😂🏁 @xmedia made me do it.”
3. She Snowboards
Another thing Jacenko likes to do is snowboard. She shared this video on Instagram of herself on the slopes, captioning it, “Not very French, but I was never one to conform.” The University of Rochester Medical Center states that snowboarding is a great way to stay in shape. “Skiing and snowboarding are thrilling activities and great workouts. Both sports are excellent cardiovascular exercises that strengthen the heart. They are also weight-bearing exercises. So hey strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles. Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also work to reduce your risk for ongoing (chronic) diseases. They lower your blood pressure. And they help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer.”
4. She Wanted To Get Healthy
Jacenko opened up about her wellness journey to News.com.au. She says that she wanted to feel better about herself. “I didn’t feel good, my clothes didn’t fit, I would put a pair of jeans on and feel the need to undo the top button so I didn’t cut off my circulation. Many would say, buy new jeans, but I wanted to get back to feeling and looking how I did pre-cancer treatment. That was important to me.”
5. She Limits Alcohol
One thing Jacenko did to stay healthy was limit her alcohol intake. “I was a binge drinker,” she said to News.com.au. “Like everything I do, I go full throttle even with things you shouldn’t, so I would drink three to five drinks a night without an issue, wake up fine and do it all again the next day. It was like habit, really.”
