Sabrina Carpenter In Bikini Top Performs With RPDR Queens At VMAs

The MTV Video Music Awards aired on CBS last night. Many stars showed up, and many others took the stage to perform. One of the most talked about performances of the night was Sabrina Carpenter’s. Sabrina performed her new single, “Tears”, from her recently released album, “Man’s Best Friend.” Not only did she look and sound amazing, she took the time to make a statement supporting the LGBTQ+ community, specifically the trans community, against the recent attacks from the government.
Sabrina decided to perform with drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Denali, Lexi Love, Laganja Estranja, Symone, and Willam all joined her on stage. They held signs with statements like, “Love each other”, and “Don’t hate drag queens because you can’t read.”
After winning the award for Best Album, Sabrina took to the stage to thank her fans and the queens who performed with her. “I really don’t take for granted when you guys take the time out of your lives to listen to an album, and if I’m lucky enough that that is my album, I am so grateful,” she said. “Whether that be Short n’ Sweet, this album, or whether that be Man’s Best Friend, my new album, or whether it be one of my 29 before that. I’m just the luckiest girl in the world, and I do want to say to my incredible cast and dancers and my queens on stage. And my queens on stage with me tonight.”
Sabrina made sure to bring the fashion last night. She wore a red lacy dress on the red carpet, a silver sparkly bikini top and black sparkly pants for her performance, and a black multicolor fringe dress to accept her awards.
