While many things have changed in her life, one thing hasn’t: her age-defying beauty. "I'm sleeping in a container that is devoid of outside carcinogens, that helps lift what you don't have and — come on, please!" the star joked to Entertainment Tonight when asked about her anti-aging secrets. In all seriousness, the star has revealed a few of the health and longevity habits responsible for her forever-young look. Here is how Sandra Bullock makes 60 look like 40.

She Works Out, A Lot

Sandra spends a lot of time sweating. Her trainer, Simone De La Rue, once told RadarOnline that she exercises for an hour a day, six times a week. "She is extremely motivated and driven," she explained. Bullock added to InStyle via Livestrong that she does Pilates, kickboxing, and weight training. "If I can work out every day, I will,” she said. "I'm, like, you know what? I talk enough to burn calories," she jokes.

Outdoor Running and Biking

Bullock also likes to exercise while getting some vitamin day. "When I'm in Austin, I run or ride a bike," she told InStyle. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say. The Cleveland Clinic explains that biking, a low-impact aerobic exercise, is excellent for building muscle, improving strength and flexibility, and improving balance. It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

Then we alternate between 10-minute intervals of high-intensity cardio and strength training moves that focus on different body parts."

She captioned the video, "Strong as a mother. 💐💗 Happy Mother’s Day! 🌺🌸" The Mayo Clinic states, "Strength training can reduce the signs and symptoms of many chronic conditions, such as arthritis, back pain, obesity, heart disease, depression and diabetes."

2. She Runs on the Treadmill

The actress showed off a few dance moves when she posted an Instagram video of herself running and dancing while working out. She wrote, "Just got my cast off and was so happy I had a dance party with my treadmill. 🙏" According to Harvard Health, "While treadmills may seem boring, they can offer a good alternative for exercise, depending on how you use them," says Dr. Adam Tenforde, with the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard-affiliated Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. "There is so much more to treadmills than just 'push the button and start walking."

3. She's All About Gracefully Aging

Maleficent Mistress of Evil PhotocallGetty Images

People reports the A-lister doesn't let aging in Hollywood affect her. “I certainly see that I’ve changed. I just try not to dwell on it,” she told the magazine. “Aging happens to every single one of us. Once you accept that it unburdens you.” Yale News states, "Research has shown that older persons who have acquired positive beliefs about old age from their surrounding culture are less likely to develop dementia. This protective effect was found for all participants, as well as among those carrying a gene that puts them at higher risk of developing dementia, a new study led by the Yale School of Public Health has found."

4. She Has a Great Skincare Regime

"Maleficent – Mistress Of Evil" European PremiereErnesto S. Ruscio/Getty Images

Pfeiffer has a gorgeous complexion and only uses clean and organic products. She told Oprah Daily, "I’ve been using Sodashi skincare for a very long time. I saw that the ingredients were mostly natural, and they don’t make me break out. I have such reactive skin that if I find something that performs and agrees with me, I stick with it. I haven’t changed what I use on my skin in over ten years. My routine is simple: I cleanse, I moisturize—that’s it." Northwestern Medicine says, "The phrase skin care brings to mind three things: skin cancer, dry skin and a long aisle of beauty products at your local drugstore. But it’s more than a surface-level concern. While a skin care routine may sound like high maintenance, in reality, the steps for healthy skin are not only necessary, they’re easy to implement too. “Investing early in the health of your skin, with regular skin care, will not only better protect it from the harsh effects of winter, but also keep you looking and feeling your best throughout the year,” says Steven Nwe, DO, a dermatologist with Northwestern Medicine. “The key to skin resiliency is knowing your skin and treating it well.”

5. She Loves Being Outdoors and in Nature

G'Day USA 2020 | Standing Together DinnerRodin Eckenroth/Getty Images

Scroll through Pfeiffer's Instagram feed and you'll see plenty of photos of her at the beach, the desert and enjoying the outdoors. The University of Minnesota states, "Being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical wellbeing, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones. It may even reduce mortality, according to scientists such as public health researchers Stamatakis and Mitchell. Research done in hospitals, offices, and schools has found that even a simple plant in a room can have a significant impact on stress and anxiety."

Halle Berry is reminiscing in her swimsuit! The 56-year-old actress shows off her forever young figure in a swimsuit with a flashback post honoring her role in the 2002 film Die Another Day. “….it’s been 20 years. Pierce Brosnan forever my BOND!” she captioned the video, featuring a clip of herself in the iconic orange bikini. How does she stay so fit at 56? Read on to see 5 of Halle Berry’s top tips for staying in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Use Exercise for “Healthy Release”

Working out is an emotional release for Halle. “Kicking, punching and pushing myself to my limits has always been a great, healthy release. Like men, women have a lot of pent-up anger and angst and sadness. I needed a healthy way to get this stuff out of my body. Sweating and working out is fuel for me. I’m also addicted to those feel-good endorphins. Sometimes, you’ve got to hit some s---!” she told AARP in a recent interview.

2. Embrace Aging

UFC Fight Pass: Special 'Behind Bruised' ScreeningJeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC via Getty Images

Halle embraces the aging process and focuses on the beautiful changes of getting older. “We’re all going to get older. Our skin is going to shrivel up and we’re going to look different. I see things changing with my face and body, but I’ve never put all my eggs in that basket,” she told AARP. “I’ve always known that beauty is deeper than the physical body you’re walking around in. That’s going to fade, and I refuse to become someone who just tries to hold onto a youthful face and not embrace what’s most important about being beautiful — how you live your life, how you give back to others, how you connect to people, how you strengthen your mind, body and soul and nourish yourself, how you give in a meaningful way of yourself. The most beautiful people have something radiating inside,” she continued. “Women are told that when we reach a certain number, we’re no longer valuable. I believe the opposite. Society should look at us as jewels as we get older. Because the older women get, the more formidable we are.”

3. Exercise Daily

If you want a body like Halle, you are going to have to work out for it – almost every day. The star works out six days a week with trainer Peter Lee Thomas, giving her body a rest on Sunday. Their workouts involve sets of weighted lunges, stairs with weights, squats, and plyometrics like jumps with weighted balls, sprawls, and Turkish get-ups. She also does situps and crunches while hanging upside down. “Only something severe even puts a dent in my abs. I’ve had two children, so the skin is just looser there. So, I have to fill that area with muscle,” she told Women’s Health.

4. Eat Healthy

27th Annual Critics Choice Awards - Press Room LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 13: Halle Berry Poses at the 27th Annual Critics Choice Awards at Fairmont Century Plaza on March 13, 2022 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by)Steve Granitz/Getty Images

Halle’s diet is extremely healthy and disciplined. She starts the day with a mix of Bulletproof coffee, almond milk, ghee, protein powder, and collagen. For lunch, which she will eat around 2 p.m. because she does intermittent fasting, she’ll eat a lamb chop or rib eye with brussels sprouts, green beans, spinach, beets, or homemade cauliflower rice. For dinner, which she eats before 6, she will eat a salad with protein.

5. Prioritize Self-Care

Halle is all about self-care. She does yoga, takes baths, gets massages and also relies on regular acupuncture sessions, which help her concentrate and regulate her “out-of-whack hormones.” "Men may think of massage as an occasional treat or a vacation indulgence, but this type of therapy could be a natural way to stay healthy and pain-free," says Harvard Health. "One of the most common health issues for older men is chronic pain, defined as pain that lasts more than 12 weeks. This includes back pain, headache, cancer pain, and arthritis pain. Then there are the everyday aches from daily living. All of these act as barriers to a healthy lifestyle."

Rachel Bush is breaking the internet in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the model flaunts her fantastic figure in a little black bikini, driving her followers wild. “so pretty rach! that SoFlo glo,” commented one of her followers. “🔥🔥HOT,” added another. “Goddess of beauty and perfection👏👏👏,” a third chimed in. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Avoids Negativity

Rachel tries to avoid negativity by not paying attention and “not attacking those who attack me because they have their own issues,” she wrote in a post. “I’m me, I’m blessed, I’m happy and I’m going to get back on track! No more reading into the negative comments and hate for me 🙅🏽♀️ just pure positivity from here on out! Because people are either going to hate or love you! I have nothing to prove nor do I no longer want to have to prove anything for those who haven’t got to meet me and get to know me in real life. I don’t have the energy for the hate anymore.”

Horseback Riding

Rachel likes to get outside and reap the health benefits of horseback riding. The American Heart Association explains that riding horses is excellent for your health. It boosts cardiovascular health, builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.

Skiing and Snowboarding

Rachel loves winter sports. “Do you ski or snowboard? I started skiing as a kid, got bored so I learned how to board,” she captioned a photo while on a snowboarding trip to Aspen. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, and diabetes, the frequency of mental stress and the occurrence of memory deficits declines. According to the University of Rochester, snowboarding, like skiing, is a great cardiovascular workout. “Because they are also weight-bearing exercises, they strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles,” they say. “Cardiovascular or aerobic exercises also reduce your risk for chronic diseases and lower blood pressure. They also help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer.”

Hiking

Hiking, “one of the best ways to get exercise,” according to the National Parks Service, is also part of her routine. “No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between,” they say. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems.

A "Healthy and Fun Filled Life"

“My goal is to inspire and empower as many people as I can. Blake has trained with Don Saladino for around 15 years. His goal is “to combine these worlds of performance physiques,” he told Women’s Health.“She's got to be on the red carpet, she's got to be in movies, she's got to prepare for specific roles.” He also preps her body for life. Resiliency is a big priority. “I want to make sure her being a mom of four, her being on the road, changing time zones, running businesses—we got to make sure her body doesn't break down,” he says.

They Start by Assessing Her Needs

Saladino starts each session by discussing how she is doing. “When her body doesn't feel right or she gets a really bad night's sleep, we might go heavier on the steps or we might do more restorative work,” he says. Another example? If Blake's back hurts or is tight, he will focus on glute activation or posterior chain work. “We recognize how she's feeling day in and day out,” Saladino says. “If it's not the day to put the foot on the gas, it's not the day to put the foot on the gas.”

Activating Muscles and Increasing Heart Rate

Next, they will spend 10 to 15 minutes activating different muscles and increasing her heart rate. Saladino also tries to “make sure that she's feeling ready,” he says.

Strength Training

Blake does four to six workouts a week, focusing on strength training. Her workouts are split into "linear days," working on bilateral moves, and "lateral days," doing unilateral movements, which really engage her core. Saladino usually splits their workouts into upper and lower body days. He told Women’s Health that her sessions start with her carrying a weight, like a farmer’s carry, to engage her muscles and warm up. Next she does kettlebell deadlifts, split squats, and bilateral and unilateral presses.

She Does Circuits and Lots of Reps

They also strengthen the core and glutes, as well as her arms. "She's picking up kids all day," he says. Blake does about 15 to 25 reps for each move, Saladino says. “She just connects with it a little bit better” than doing, say, eight to 10 reps, he adds. She is also open-minded about her circuits. “When she goes, she likes to go,” Saladino says. She might do more reps than he asks her to. If “she's feeling it, she's in the groove, I'm like, ‘Go for it,’" he adds.

Supersets and Tri-Sets

They also do many supersets or tri-sets, performing two or three back-to-back exercises. “We like to keep moving,” Saladino explains. “We like to make it a little bit about endurance.” He also adds higher-intensity cardio bursts at the end of their workouts.

Walking

He also ensures she gets her steps in by walking on the treadmill. She aims for a zone one or zone two restorative cardio range with low-to-moderate cardio levels. “My goal with her is not to break her down,” Saladino says. “We need to make sure that every day she's waking up, she's feeling great, she's feeling energetic, and she can rinse and repeat.”
