Sara Sampaio In Workout Gear Is "So Beautiful"
Model Sara Sampaio is showing off her latest workout looks in a series of professional snaps posted on her social media for her 8.5 million followers. Sampaio, 33, shared pictures of herself posing in brown two piece Alo Yoga gear, basking in beautiful sunshine. "So beautiful," commented Kelsey Anderson, a sentiment echoed by Shanina Shaik. So how does Sampaio seem to get fitter and stronger by the year? Here's what her health, wellness, and fitness regimen looks like.
Running On the Sand
Sampaio emphasizes the importance of taking care of yourself year-round. "It's a year-long body," she told Hello! "You can't just do it for summer. Having a healthy body is really about a year-long commitment. "If I'm on the beach I love running in the sand. It's the best for your legs and toning like even your tushie, the best workout. When you're in the summer or on vacation, really take advantage of what's around you."
Dog Pound and Rise Nation
Sampaio works out five to six days a week. "I normally go to the Dog Pound in New York, where I do a mixture of cardio, weight training, resistance training with my personal trainer," she told Glamour. "I'm obsessed with this class in LA called Rise Nation. It's like cardio on a versaclimber – it's so intense and it's only 30 minutes, but it's all you need. They're opening it everywhere and I'm so excited. I'm literally obsessed with it."
Gentle Skin Care
Sampaio tries to use gentle skin care products. "Less is more, but really it is to keep my skin care relatively simple and not use too many products with fragrance," she told Glamour. "I've really pared down my routine. I only use a serum from 111Skin, and my favorite moisturizer is the Avène Restorative Skin Cream, which is the best thing I've ever used."
Princess Hair
Sampaio loves keeping her hair long and healthy. "Because my hair is so long, I can actually do some stuff with it right now," she told Glamour. "I did a tutorial on Instagram; it's this very pretty braid around on the sides that connect at the back. It's a really cute, easy, and fast hairstyle to do. I haven't cut it in, like, a year and a half. And I'm like, I'm just going to keep growing it until someone makes me cut it. I love my hair long. I think this is the longest I've ever had it."
Sleep and Wellness
Sampaio counts sleep as the single most important part of her wellness routine. "Meditation isn't really my thing, but sleeping is my version of meditation," she told Glamour UK. "I really love sleeping, I can sleep anywhere, anytime, and I wish I could take a nap everyday. Sleeping is so important for you, it regenerates everything and is my number one trick for overall wellness."
