Jena is a fan of a popular workout method. “My favorite type of workout is F45,” she told FOX. “It’s just a 45-minute class. And I think I like it so much because they play amazing music and it’s so loud.”

2. Weight Lifting

“I’m not a calm, soothing Pilates, yoga princess. I’m like, ‘Scream at me.’ I want to be dripping sweat,” continued Sims. “I want loud music, heavy weights. For my body type, I like to lift weights because I don’t need to do a lot of cardio. I find that lifting weights has been the most beneficial,” she told Fox. “I've been working on just upping my weights a little bit,” she added to Daily Mail. “I can get into this sweet spot and get kind of in a plateau of working out, so I upped my weights after seeing her video because I was so impressed by what she did with her fitness. I'm trying to lift heavier. Trying to build a booty.”

To get in shape for her Sports Illustrated photoshoot, Jena didn’t diet, “ all I'm doing is just eating as clean as I can, but I'm still splurging,” she told Daily Mail. “Like, I had four dinner rolls last night at this charity event as well as my meal.”

It really keeps me kind of sharp and focused,” she told Women’s Health. “I kind of alternate between doing the Versa classes and strength training and I’m waiting for the day that I can do them both in one day! It’s always that thing where, even when I don’t go to the gym, if I’m just sweating and being active – even if it’s not an intense session – I always feel so much better and things are much more organized in my head.”

2. Fueling Her Workouts

Greene eats to fuel her workouts. “I used to have to have breakfast, but it was, like, yogurt,” she told Women’s Health. “Now I have to have two pieces of wholegrain toast and almond butter, honey and bananas on top. That would bother some people because it’s got a decent amount of fat, but you have to recognise that it’s fuel; it doesn’t matter if I’m putting calories and fat into my body – I need it to do the type of strength training that I like to do.”

3. Postpartum Fitness

Greene was careful about jumping back into her workout routine after welcoming daughter Kingsley Rainn in September 2022. "I wanted to feel fully back into my body… I really wanted to focus on making sure that I gave myself enough rest for everything to go back into place, and made sure that I wasn't trying to jump back into where I was and hurting myself," she told PEOPLE. "I feel like there's this idea that you are cleared after eight weeks and you can just jump back in, and that is so far from the case. I think it's really damaging to a lot of people.”

4. Learning Self-Confidence

Greene has learned to become comfortable and confident in her own skin. “I don't know that I've ever met someone who hasn't had some type of insecure moment or stage,” she told HuffPost. “You're growing and you're learning, and some days are good and some are bad. I'm definitely the most comfortable in my skin than I've ever been. I understand that a lot of things aren't the end of the world.”

5. Gym Owner

Greene and husband Paul Khory opened their own gym NexGen Fitness in Sherman Oaks, CA, and she is thrilled her daughter will grow up being familiar with the place. “She was just running around this place that holds so much importance to all of us,” she told PEOPLE. “She’ll grow up understanding and have such a toolbox for mental health and physical fitness and reproductive rights, and that’s such a cool thing to be able to give all that to your daughter. 1. Mental Health

“I’ve always been in therapy [and] I’ve always been an advocate for medicine,” Biles told Vanity Fair. “If you need an inhaler, take it. If you have anxiety, take it. I’m no stranger to medicine.” Years ago Biles was prescribed Lexapro for anxiety, and she continues to take the medication today.

2. Protein-Packed Meals

Simone fills her plate with lean protein and lots of fiber. For breakfast she has Kellogg's Red Berries or egg whites. Lunch, “is either chicken or fish so I get the protein,” she told Women’s Health. Next up, a “quick snack” before another workout. “Pre-workout I love drinking Core Power; it's a recovery drink. And then a banana and peanut butter because bananas have potassium, which helps with muscle cramps.” “And then,” for dinner, “I like having a good fish, like salmon, and rice and carrots.”

3. Cross Training Workouts

“We swam twice a week—almost a mile! I swore I was going to drown, it was so hard, and then we would run. And the year before that we would bike 10 miles outside once a week. If we didn't bike, we would run a mile before practice, and as soon as we finished the mile we'd have to go inside and do a beam routine. My legs were absolute jello. But it got easier because the cross-training helped. This year we haven't done [cross-training] because we're just calming it down,” she told Women’s Health about what her exercise session consists of.

4. Strength Training

Simone also spends hours in the gym daily. “I like doing legs because those exercises come pretty easily to me. I have good, powerful legs, so I can do conditioning and they won't be too sore. But stomach conditioning, I don't like it at all! It's my least favorite. I like laughing better for an ab workout than actually doing abs!” she told Women’s Health.

5. Stretching

Simone understands the importance of stretching. “We have a routine that includes running and then a stretch for every part of our body. So we'll stretch before practice, but especially afterwards, because then you're tense and you need to stretch those muscles down. It's very important to keep your body flexible so that you don't get injured,” she told Women’s Health. “My favorite stretch is splits because not a lot of people can do them. And over-splits is when you put your leg up on a mat so it's higher—and it just looks cooler!” “Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints,” says Harvard Health. “Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

She Walks

Snyder likes to walk to keep herself in shape. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram video. “Nowadays, my main form of exercise is walking. In the past, I would NEVER have thought that walking would be enough to keep my body in the shape I wanted. But it actually does! My heart’s intuition tells me how good this is for my body. I walk around our house in a hilly place so there is an element of weight-bearing exercise, and it clears my mind as I walk in nature. I also do stretching, and this type of free form movement on my yoga mat. I find it tremendously powerful when I feel the need to release old energy and expand.”

She Makes Snack Wraps

Snyder shares a lot of her favorite recipes on Instagram. She shared her recipe for a snack wrap in this Instagram video. Snyder captioned it, “This snack is complete with raw honey (from our farm!), fresh banana, almond butter, and an almond flour based wrap. 1. Multiple “Layers” to Conditioning

Sarah told Alina Popa and Lenda Murray about what people should know about conditioning on a recent episode of Femme Flex Friday, per Muscle & Fitness. “I think people need to realize there are multiple layers to that. You have leanness, you have dryness, and you have fullness. And all three of those things are very separate,” Villegas explained. “And when you master each one of those, that’s what gives you conditioning.”

2. Aim for “Leanness”

“A lot of times you can have people that aren’t lean enough, and they say ‘well, I was too full.’ You weren’t too full, you weren’t lean enough,” Sarah said during the interview. You have to start with leanness then focus on water balance and fullness of the muscles. “You have to remember that you can only achieve conditioning if you master all three of those.”

3. It Helps You From Acquiring Too Much Body Fat

“Staying too lean keeps you from growing, but obviously, you know, acquiring too much bodyfat in the offseason keeps you from growing as well,” Sarah added. “You lose your shape, and it can be easy to lose sight on what you need to work on.”

4. Lots of Lower Body “Hard Work”

Sarah explained to RX Muscle that she does a lot of lower body workout. “Now you have the best legs in the women's division. What is a body part that came very easy to you? Are you like one of these maniac trainers, squatting heavy and stuff like that? Was it hard work or was it genetics?” she was asked. “Definitely I would say hard work. I would say that they responded very well, but I train the lights out,” she replied. “And you hear it all the time: You gotta build from the bottom up and legs are the most important muscle. But not a lot of people actually really listen to that and follow through with that,” she says. “I have been relentless with leg training, giving it twice as much time throughout my week, twice as much time on the gym floor. So it's definitely been a lot of work. It does help though that I like training legs. I think, you know, I'm one of those weirdos that thinks it's kind of fun and rewarding, but it's definitely been a lot of hard work.”

5. She Trains Others

Sarah also helps others with a personal training and nutrition program. She explains that it is more than just dieting and lifting weights. “We do everything from personal training to diet, nutrition,” she says. This includes DEXA scans, measurements, tracking, and a “whole program” so people can “reach their ultimate body composition”

While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”
