Selena Gomez is one busy gal. In addition to currently filming Season 5 of her hot series, Only Murders In The Building, the singer and actress is making wedding plans with her fiancé, Benny Blanco. The star has never looked better, and it's clear that self-care is high on her priority list. One of the items on deck? A healthy, high-protein lunch she swears by for busy days on set.
The celeb shared that her hilarious Only Murders In The Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short inspired her to eat the same lunch daily, which she refers to as an "old-man tendency."
Selena Gomez Swears by This High-Protein Lunch
What's on the menu while Selena's on set? A tasty lunch that's chock-full of protein.
"All I eat is a chicken salad sandwich," Selena shared on First We Feast's Hot Ones. In fact, her co-stars take part in the "eating-the-same-thing-for-lunch-every-day" ritual. The star said of Steve and Martin, "It's either a tuna sandwich with Dijon mustard or sushi."
Selena's choice of chicken is an excellent source of protein, and eating it midday can keep energy levels up.

Her Go-to Fast-Food Order Is Packed With Protein, Too
Selena stays on the high-protein bandwagon even when she splurges a bit for fast food. In fact, her go-to Taco Bell order is bursting with protein. The celeb shared with Access Hollywood at the Golden Globes that she typically opts for a Mexican pizza (19 grams of protein) and a chalupa (10 to 15 grams of protein).

Selena's Other Meals Are Protein-Filled as Well
The "It Ain't Me" singer ain't going for breakfast without protein, either! And get ready to cue the "awe's," because Selena's fiancé even whips it up for her in the AM.
"Every day I try to make her her favorite breakfast," Benny said on The Howard Stern Show, as reported by PEOPLE. "Every single day. She wants the same thing every day. Her favorite thing is she either has chorizo and eggs in like a tortilla, chorizo and eggs in a quesadilla, chorizo and eggs and rice and beans—she wants some version of that."
