Serena Deeb is a successful wrestler with AEW. She also worked as a wrestling coach. This year, Deeb appeared on AEW’s Collision. In January, she advertised her appearance on Instagram. In it, she is seen in black workout gear. Deeb captioned the post, “The straps are off. The wait is over. Deeb’s Dojo is open for business tonight on @aew Collision!” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Serena Deeb stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Coaches

In an interview with Under The Ring, Deeb talked about the impact coaching has had on her. “I spent a few years coaching and it was a great chapter and I learned a lot. Going into that realm kind of teaches you all these other elements of wrestling that as a performer, as a talent, you don't really learn because it's so, like you are just so focused as an individual when you're a wrestler, when you're a talent. But when I was coaching, it was learning all these different elements and production and all the important things that come along with that and attention to detail. And it was a great learning chapter, but I've set it in several interviews. It's no secret the whole time I was coaching, I got hired as a coach when I was 31 and I knew I could still go and I didn't really feel complete with my career at that point.”

2. She Stunt Trains

Being a wrestler, Deeb does a lot of stunt work. In this video she posted on Instagram, she is seen doing knife work. Deeb captioned the post, “Big thank you to Jason Mello for teaching me some fight choreography and knife work. It was so bad ass to train with you!”

3. She Meditates

Deeb is a big fan of practicing meditation. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself doing so. Deeb captioned the post, “Reflecting on how far I have traveled and how strong it has made me. Envisioning my intent for tomorrow. I am present. Tomorrow, I bet on myself.”

4. She Does Yoga

Deeb does a lot of things to keep herself in shape. One thing she likes to do is practice yoga. Deeb shares a lot of photos on Instagram of herself in different poses. In this photo, she is seen doing a tree pose outside. In this one, Deeb does an upward dog or cobra pose on a pipe at the beach.

5. She Strength Trains

Another type of workout that Deeb does is strength train. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself pulling a weighted cart. Deeb captioned the post, “If people are doubting how far you can go, go so far that you can’t hear them.” The Mayo Clinic states, “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

Sabrina Parr, a former athlete turned fitness influencer and track coach, is no stranger to overcoming obstacles. Known for her empowering messages and fitness insights, Parr recently took to Instagram to share her thoughts on persistence, captioning a video of herself jumping rope with, “Learn how to stop stopping!” Whether she’s pushing through challenging workouts, recovering from knee surgeries, or motivating others to stay consistent, Parr’s dedication to self-improvement is a source of inspiration for her followers.

She Jumps Rope

As you can see from her Instagram post, Parr likes to jump rope to keep herself in shape. The Cleveland Clinic reports that this has a lot of health benefits. “Jumping rope can be a good form of cardio, which increases your heart rate and can help decrease your risk of cardiovascular disease. And when you increase your heart rate, you also burn more calories. So, how many calories does jumping rope burn? While it depends on your pace, on average, someone may burn about 100 calories jumping rope for 10 minutes.”

She Works Out With Others

Parr likes to do group exercise to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself and her friends doing a push-up challenge on Instagram. Parr captioned the post, “I decided to hop in with the guys on the push-up challenge last week. This week a few ladies joined the group. The object is to do as many pushups in a row until you get to 100. My pushups look terrible right now but I gotta start from somewhere. Doing challenges like this helps me get in shape a lot faster and pushes me past my limitations!”

She Does Push-Ups

As you can see from the previous Instagram video, Parr likes to do push-ups to keep herself in shape. Push-ups have a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic states, “The basic push-up is a simple exercise — but it’s also simply one of the best things you can do for the muscles in your arms (triceps, especially), chest (pectorals or pecs) and shoulders (deltoids).”

She Does Hamstring Curls

Parr shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hamstring curls. She captioned it, “Let me be honest for a second, recovering from my 6th knee surgery (on the same knee) at my age and place in life isn’t easy! For those who don’t know, I had two knee surgeries last year (a partial reconstruction in November and an arthroscopic manipulation in March), and I was on crutches for about 11 months. Shortly after, I was diagnosed with Functional Movement Disorder (that basically means something is wrong with my nervous system)! That changed my entire life. As a mother and an active entrepreneur, not being able to do basic things weighed very heavy on me. My body changed a lot as well and I’m working to get it back. Some days, I don’t feel my best. Some days I’m discouraged. Some days I look around and see ppl able to do things I can’t do at the moment and it makes me sad. Some days my clothes just don’t fit like I want them to. Some days my knee doesn’t work the way I want it to. Some days I feel so much pain and I can’t even talk about it. Some days I feel alone in my thoughts and feel like no one understands what I’m going through. On no day do I give up though!”

She Works Hard

Parr makes sure to work hard when she exercises. She opened up about her fitness journey in the caption of this Instagram post. “Putting in some work before I put in some work!!! It feels really good to be jumping rope in Bermuda!! 🇧🇲🇧🇲🇧🇲I’ll be honest, working out is not as fun and easy for me anymore since being diagnosed with Functional Movement Disorder last year. Some days I wake up in so much pain. Some days I just can’t walk normally. Some days I’m too depressed to do anything! Then there are some days that no matter how I feel, I push through and work out anyway! This comeback I’m on is very different and very personal! I’m about 20 pounds over MY desired weight right now, and because of my situation, it’s taking me a little bit longer this time. One thing I know about situations is they can CHANGE!!!”

1. She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Jenneke shared some of her favorite workouts with Body & Soul. She says that she does a variety of different things. “It’s a lot of heavy weights there, plus full body exercises and quite a bit of plyometric [exercises]. I start with heavy weights, and then I’ll do some lighter functional circuit, towards the end. All up, that takes an hour and a half to two hours… and sometimes when I finish a session I just lie on the ground.”

2. She Eats A Healthy Breakfast

`

Jenneke also shared her diet secrets with Body & Soul. She shared her favorite breakfasts for training day. “It really depends on what my training day looks like, but if I’ve got training in the morning (which I often do at the moment) I’ll have cereal generally before I go out and train. Then, I actually love having a Milo after a hard session – it’s got good levels of protein and iron in it – and then I make myself a second breakfast, which could be muesli with yoghurt or bacon and eggs.”

3. She Dances

Jenneke likes to dance before a meet. "The dancing preparation is good," Jenneke said to The New Zealand Herald. "People see me doing a dance on the track and it's part of my enjoyment ... I love being there and I love racing and that's how I express that. If you watch me during my warm up I'm dancing the whole way through it. I've always got music playing and I'm just really getting into it, it's how I pump myself up for the race."

4. She Swims

Jenneke loves to swim to stay in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself snorkeling in the ocean. Jenneke captioned the post, “A little taste of my amazing holiday in the Whitsundays last week 🌴⛵️ @suncoastcharters @hamiltonisland #gopro 🎶 Born To Be Yours - Kygo & Imagine Dragons.”

Twilight star Ashley Greene is giving fans a glimpse at the highlights of her year so far. Greene, 36, shared several pictures of herself and family, including one of the star wearing black leggings and a purple workout top, looking fresh-faced and very toned. “Life lately,” she captioned the post, adding the word “commitment” for her workout selfie. Greene is now the co-owner of a gym, and her fitness routine has adapted to motherhood—here’s how the actress stays fit and full of energy.

1. Sweating For Good Headspace

Greene previously talked about her love for Rise Nation workouts in Los Angeles. “Mentally, for me, it’s so important. It really keeps me kind of sharp and focused,” she told Women’s Health. “I kind of alternate between doing the Versa classes and strength training and I’m waiting for the day that I can do them both in one day! It’s always that thing where, even when I don’t go to the gym, if I’m just sweating and being active – even if it’s not an intense session – I always feel so much better and things are much more organized in my head.”

2. Fueling Her Workouts

Toast,With,Peanut,Butter,,Banana,Slices,,Honey,And,Almond,FlakesShutterstock

Greene eats to fuel her workouts. “I used to have to have breakfast, but it was, like, yogurt,” she told Women’s Health. “Now I have to have two pieces of wholegrain toast and almond butter, honey and bananas on top. That would bother some people because it’s got a decent amount of fat, but you have to recognise that it’s fuel; it doesn’t matter if I’m putting calories and fat into my body – I need it to do the type of strength training that I like to do.”

3. Postpartum Fitness

Greene was careful about jumping back into her workout routine after welcoming daughter Kingsley Rainn in September 2022. "I wanted to feel fully back into my body… I really wanted to focus on making sure that I gave myself enough rest for everything to go back into place, and made sure that I wasn't trying to jump back into where I was and hurting myself," she told PEOPLE. "I feel like there's this idea that you are cleared after eight weeks and you can just jump back in, and that is so far from the case. I think it's really damaging to a lot of people.”

4. Learning Self-Confidence

Greene has learned to become comfortable and confident in her own skin. “I don't know that I've ever met someone who hasn't had some type of insecure moment or stage,” she told HuffPost. “You're growing and you're learning, and some days are good and some are bad. I'm definitely the most comfortable in my skin than I've ever been. I understand that a lot of things aren't the end of the world.”

5. Gym Owner

Greene and husband Paul Khory opened their own gym NexGen Fitness in Sherman Oaks, CA, and she is thrilled her daughter will grow up being familiar with the place. “She was just running around this place that holds so much importance to all of us,” she told PEOPLE. “She’ll grow up understanding and have such a toolbox for mental health and physical fitness and reproductive rights, and that’s such a cool thing to be able to give all that to your daughter. It’s much more fulfilling to put your name and your face behind something that you truly care about."

Jen Heward is a fitness influencer. A few weeks ago, she shared a workout she did while she was pregnant on Instagram. In it, Heward is seen doing things like lunges, bicep curls, and modified push-ups. Heward captioned the post, “Always picking wedgies 🐫🤣 Killer full body burn 🔥 from the drafts!! Little did I know I was going to have a baby 2 weeks from the day this was filmed 🥹 I actually haven’t done a full body since this workout 🤣 I’m inspired by my own videos to get back into it again 💪🏼”

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram post, Heward is seen doing exercises with weights. This has a lot of benefits. ACE Fitness states, “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Does Lunges

Jen Heward doing lateral lunges

Jen Heward/Instagram

Another exercise that Heward is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. According to The Mayo Clinic, this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Core Workouts

Heward likes to do core workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared some of her favorite core exercises with ankle weights in this Instagram post. Heward captioned it, “Strengthening these hips and core back postpartum 🔥 plus quite a few of you were asking for some inner thigh exercises! SAVE 4 LATER. It might not look like much for core, but you need a whole lot of deep core stability for these leg exercises. This way you hit more than one muscle group at a time! The workout took me 30 min but had me 🥵”

She Does Pull-Ups

Heward shared this workout video on Instagram. In it, she is seen doing pull-ups. According to Gymless, it can be very beneficial to do these. “Pull-ups are one of the most fundamental calisthenics exercises that build up your strength and endurance in the upper body. It is commonly used as a form of physical test from schools all the way up to the military. Many athletes from all sports backgrounds use pull-ups in their training, which makes this one of the best exercises for building the upper body and developing a bigger and stronger back.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

Jen Heward does hip thrusts in her home gym

Heward is also seen doing hip thrusts in the previous Instagram link. Gymless says that these are very beneficial for your glutes. “Strong glutes are not only for aesthetic appeal; they serve a key functional purpose in supporting the posterior chain of muscles around the spine. Hip thrusts are also known for their capacity to develop and define glute muscles, contributing to their popularity on social media. After all, who doesn’t appreciate the look of a well-crafted pair of glutes?”

Ence captioned the post, “So here’s one of my favorite ways to break a sweat. 🔥 It’s challenging, mentally engaging, and interval style, which always keeps it fun.”

She Lifts Weights

As you can see from her Instagram video, Ence likes to lift weights to keep herself in shape. She shares a lot of other posts of herself using weights. According to ACE Fitness, lifting weights has a lot of health benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

She Does Deadlifts

Ence is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that this exercise has a lot of benefits. “One significant benefit of the RDL is that it teaches clients how to lift from the hips instead of using the lower back. The base move of the RDL is the standing hip hinge, which is an important component of learning how to squat correctly. The first move during the lowering phase of the squat should be the hips moving back in a flexed position. Back pain is often associated with not using the hips properly when squatting or bending over to pick an object up off of the ground. Teaching clients how to lift safely in the gym means they m

Burpees workout your entire body and are great for building strength and burning calories.”

She Does Sit-ups

Another exercise that Ence is seen doing in her Instagram video is sit-ups. The Cleveland Clinic says that sit-ups are very beneficial. “Sit ups are essential for strengthening your core — something that’s obvious. But your core is responsible for so much more than those classic ‘six pack’ abs many strive for. A strong core can reduce back pain, improve balance and increase your flexibility. Core muscles also support your hips and pelvis. Finally, a strong core will help you build good posture.”

She Jumps Rope

Another thing that Ence does to keep herself in shape is jump rope. She shared a photo on Instagram of herself jumping rope for an interval. Ence captioned it, “Got snapped 📸 during my training day. She Loves Raspberries

Pellacani’s yogurt dish includes raspberries. The Cleveland Clinic states that they have a lot of benefits. “Raspberries are also full of antioxidants and nutrients called polyphenols that decrease oxidative damage. Like their blueberry cousin, they’re high in fiber to aid in digestion, blood glucose control and weight loss. There’s more, too. Raspberries also are great sources of: Vitamin C. Manganese. Potassium.”
