1. She Does CrossFit
Lowry is a big fan of CrossFit. She opened up about this in her interview with Muscle and Fitness. “I did what we call open workouts in CrossFit (often including as many reps as possible in a given timeframe), to the point where I got T-Rex arms. You know, you can’t reach anything, and that to me was the same idea as someone waking up and not understanding why everything hurts. Why does it hurt to breathe? Why does it hurt to reach for something?”
2. She Dances
Lowry naturally loves to dance to stay in shape. She still teaches classes and shares a lot of dance videos on Instagram. Better Health reports, “Dancing can be a way to stay fit for people of all ages, shapes and sizes. It has a wide range of physical and mental benefits including: Improved condition of your heart and lungs. Increased muscular strength, endurance and motor fitness. Increased aerobic fitness. Improved muscle tone and strength. Weight management.”

Lowry makes sure to stretch. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing stretches for her Muscle and Fitness interview. The Mayo Clinic reports that stretching has a lot of benefits. “Research has shown that stretching can help improve flexibility, and, as a result, the range of motion of your joints. Better flexibility may: Improve your performance in physical activities. Decrease your risk of injuries. Help your joints move through their full range of motion. Increase muscle blood flow. Enable your muscles to work most effectively. Improve your ability to do daily activities.”

She captioned the post, “Check out my - just had a baby and lost my fat azzz workout.” The Mayo Clinic reports that squats have a lot of benefits. “The squat is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the squat targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles. Strengthening these muscles can help protect your knees and boost your performance in a variety of sports.”

This can help you maintain independence as you age.”
