Sharlene Mawdsley Shows Off Incredible Figure in "Training Camp Dump"

Track star Sharlene Mawdsley is a force to be reckoned with, winning medals and sharing her journey on Instagram.

Sharlene Mawdsley is a track and field athlete. She typically competes in 400 metres events. Mawdsley won a bronze in the World Athletics Relays, and a gold and silver in the European Championships. She recently shared some highlights on Instagram. In them, Mawdsley is seen running, hiking, enjoying a pool day, and at a coffee shop. She captioned the post, “Training camp dump no. 1.”

She Runs

Running is the main way Mawdsley stays fit. FloTrack reports that running has a lot of health benefits. “Running and jogging is an aerobic exercise, and you’re working out both your heart and lungs while doing so. This will also lead to a lower resting heart rate, lower bad cholesterol in your blood and lower blood pressure. You don’t need to run an obscene amount of miles every day to get these benefits, either. Those who just run a couple of minutes a day decrease their risk of cardiovascular death by 58 percent. If you have a hard time running, you can still give your heart a workout by jogging or walking.”

She Hikes

Sharlene Mawdsley shares a snap of a couple Zebras while hiking.

Sharlene Mawdsley/Instagram

Mawdsley is also seen hiking in her Instagram post. Harvard Health states that hiking has a lot of benefits. “‘Navigating a winding, wooded trail can help your body build endurance, strength, and coordination,’ says Dr. Edward Phillips, assistant professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School. ‘Hiking over uneven terrain requires more energy than walking on a level surface, so it burns more calories. If you are hiking uphill, your body has to work even harder,’ he says. A rigorous hike may offer many of the same physical benefits as interval training, which alternates low- and high-intensity exercise to increase cardiovascular fitness. During a hike, your heart rate goes up as you move up an incline and drops when you head downhill.”

She's Focused

In an interview with Image, Mawdsley talked about the importance of being focused. “Take a moment to remember all of the work you’ve done to get to where you are,” she advised to others. “Be present and focus. Remember that life is short and that this moment won’t define the rest of your life. You are in control.”

She Works Hard

Sharlene Mawdsley is pictured spending time with friends.

Mawdsley makes sure to work hard. She talked about this in her Image interview. “Planning is crucial, but the reality is there are a lot of sacrifices to be made in what I do. I always make time to prioritise my friends and family on rest days or during meals. But the other side is that I’ve missed out on family events because of the demands of training and competing.”

She Works With A Trainer

Mawdsley works with trainer, Tony Lester, to help her train. She talked about her decision to train with him in her Image interview. “I had given myself three years of putting everything I had into running even though I knew it wasn’t 100%. I still knew I had so much room to improve. So after the Olympics, when the motivation was low, I sought what would be the best decision for me. It was a really hard decision to make the move, because it affected quite a big part of my life, but I knew if I didn’t make the change I would always wonder ‘what if’. After a brief encounter with Tony in Paris, I knew it was the right move for me.”

Mackenzie, who gave birth to her daughter Moa in 2019, maintains that her body hasn’t been the same since. “My pregnancy kind of restarted my whole body,” she told the New York Post. “I had a really high fat percentage before I got pregnant. And then breastfeeding and Moa getting [bigger] inside of me, she took a lot of my body fat. I lost a lot of muscle during my pregnancy, but I was almost able to start from zero again.
But then, just staying focused and seeing how I didn’t want to get back to where I was before. I’m way more focused. I want to win my fights. I want to do good. I want to have good performances. And having someone depend on you, my daughter, it’s not just me.
I’m getting muscle, I’m working my strength training, and I’m keeping my body fat low. I’m in a way better place now, thankfully.”

2. She Surfs

Mackenzie is an avid surfer. She regularly shares photos and videos of herself surfing. She revealed to the New York Post that her ideal day would be to “Wake up. Go surf then after get a tan. Just relax on the beach tanning. I like to just lay in the sun,” she said. Then, she would eat sushi, go home, and take a nap. “And all this with my family; Moa and my husband together. Wake up. Go for a walk with the dogs. Go watch the sunset. Maybe go to a Brazilian barbecue at night with the family, have some steak.”

3. She Does Functional Training

“I dedicated myself 100 percent, but my training was different than before,” Mackenzie told Women’s Health about how she changed her approach to fitness after becoming a mom. “I did more functional training, focusing on movements with dumbbells and cables, to improve my speed and reaction time.”

and one of the most rewarding. My smile is a true reflection of how I'm feeling. Grateful," she captioned a post.

2. She “Claps Back” at Body Shamers

"Twitter saw this CLAP-BACK first 👏👏👏 I could go on and on about body shaming and cyberbullying, but they don't deserve the attention. But, I'll always be LOUD about loving yourself and all that you are, no matter what anyone else has to say."

3. She Hikes

When she isn’t training, you can find Deonna out hiking in nature. “There’s a lot I could say about the Grand Canyon, but it all feels too deep. In all seriousness, this trip was absolutely breathtaking. Looking out and seeing all those colors was like a dream,” she captioned this post about one of her hiking trips.

4. She Trains Hard

To keep her body in fighting form, Deonna puts in long hours at the gym. She shared a clip from one of her workouts on Twitter, squatting with incredibly heavy weights, writing “my heaviest this particular day was 215lb x 4 reps.”

5. She Celebrates Her Strength

Deonna is strong and proud of it! “Stop using the gym as a photoshoot and workout...” she tweeted alongside a photo of herself showing off her guns. “oh..... OK,” she added. "Bones lose calcium and weaken with age, but strength training can help slow or sometimes even reverse this trend. Not only can strength training make you look and feel better, but it can also result in better performance of everyday activities, such as climbing stairs and carrying bundles. Stronger muscles also mean better mobility and balance, and thus a lower risk of falling and injuring yourself. In addition, more lean body mass aids in weight control because each pound of muscle burns more calories than its equivalent in fat," says Harvard Health.

Megan once made a Greek yogurt parfait with fruit and granola. Good choice. You could eat something like that on the Mediterranean diet. “What does breakfast look like when you're following the Mediterranean diet? Appealing and full of fiber-rich foods, such as fruit and whole grains, that can keep you feeling pleasantly full for hours. This version includes plain Greek yogurt, blueberries, apple slices, whole-grain toast and peanut butter,” says the Mayo Clinic.

Stephanie Rice is a professional swimmer. She won three gold medals in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Rice has appeared on The Apprentice: Australia and SAS Australia: Who Dares Wins. She recently got married, and is currently on her honeymoon in the Maldives. Rice shared a set of photos on Instagram of herself in the pool. She captioned them, “A week in heaven đŸïžThe last 3 months were so busy and intense, planning our wedding, finishing my masters degree, selling all of Mark’s furniture and booking our honeymoon
so to finally stop, relax and have no decisions to make is absolute bliss đŸ™ŒđŸœâ€

She Swims

Swimming is obviously the main way that Rice keeps herself in shape. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself training in the pool. Rice shared this video of herself diving in, captioning it, “Procrastinating studying for my accounting exam
so here’s a reel I decided to make instead đŸ˜‚đŸ« â€ Rice also shared this diving photo on her page, captioning it, “These days I only get in the pool to film content for YouTube or if I’m sipping a spicy marg somewhere luxurious đŸ€ŁđŸč”

She Lifts Weights

Rice likes to lift weights to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself lifting weights. Rice captioned it, “After I came back from SAS and my shoulder was slightly better, I decided I wanted to fully commit to a weights program and see if I could transform my body. I’ve always done weights but more functional weights with lots of HIIT and long hikes. So I asked @m.acefitness to create a program for me and help train me a few times a week. At first I couldn’t even put the plates on the barbell because my shoulder was so weak after dislocating it đŸ€ŠđŸœâ™€ïž but now that it’s almost 100% better I’m really enjoying weights training and I’m learning a lot. I also think it’s amazing how your body responds to different types of training
you really can shape your body however you want to by doing different styles of training and I think that’s so cool.”

She Works Out On A Regular Basis

Rice makes sure to workout on a regular basis. She talked about it in the caption of this Instagram post. “Even though the past few weeks have been mega busy, my workouts stay consistent. They not only make me feel confident and empowered in my physical body, but the mental/emotional benefits are always worth the 1hr sacrifice. My mind is so much more focused after a workout, so I made sure to get one in before my final uni exams and assignment writing sessions. I know when things get busy it’s easy to sacrifice things like sleep, healthy setting and exercise
but for me, those things actually make me thrive, so I keep them a priority as best as I can!!”

She Has A Strong Mind

For Rice, mental health is just as important as physical health. She tells Coach Nine that her mental health helps with her wellness routine. “A lot of people tend to put a lot of pressure on themselves to do big radical changes. I'm all for that, as long as you've created the right mental foundation for it. A lot of people compare themselves to others — I would want to ensure that my friends are making the shift for a more positive and empowering reason.”

She Eats A Veagn DIet

Vegan,Lentil,Burgers,With,Kale,And,Tomato,Sauce,On,AShutterstock

Rice shared her diet in her Coach Nine interview. “I follow a predominantly vegan diet,” Rice revealed. “I don't enjoy following any strict eating routines, but I always am conscious to eat as much fresh fruits and vegetables if possible. If I am travelling and I don't have access to fresh produce, I try to supplement that with powders. In terms of a ‘cheat’ meal, I love any forms of chocolate, but I tend to lean towards healthy raw desserts.”

Jessica Biel has long been known for her sculpted physique, and she doesn’t rely on trendy fads to stay in shape. The actress, who rose to fame on 7th Heaven and later wowed audiences in The Sinner and Candy, prioritizes sustainable fitness habits over quick fixes. Her approach focuses on strength, flexibility, and mobility—ensuring she stays toned while avoiding injury.
One of Biel’s go-to core moves comes straight from her Pilates routine, a practice she swears by for maintaining a strong midsection. She recently gave fans a peek into her workout on Instagram, showing off a controlled, challenging movement designed to engage her abs and improve overall stability. Alongside Pilates, Biel mixes in bodyweight exercises, yoga, and mobility work, proving that a balanced, mindful approach to fitness delivers long-lasting results.

Biel shared a video on Instagram of herself doing Pilates. According to Better Health, these exercises have a lot of benefits. “In Pilates, your muscles are rarely worked to the point of exhaustion, so there is not always sweating or straining, just intense concentration. The workout consists of a variety of exercise sequences that are performed in low repetitions, usually five to ten times, over a session of 45 to 90 minutes. Floor based exercises performed on a mat and specialised equipment for resistance are often used. The Pilates method is taught to suit each person and exercises are regularly re-evaluated to ensure they are appropriate for that person. Due to the individual attention, this method can suit everybody from elite athletes to people with limited mobility, pregnant women and people with low fitness levels.”

She Does Mobility Workouts

"When I was in my twenties, it was important to me how much I could bench press and how ripped my shoulders are, and all that stuff is less important to me now," she shared. "What's important to me now is mobility. I don't want to be living with pain."

She Does Bodyweight Exercises

Biel tells Women’s Health that she loves doing bodyweight exercises. "We're just thinking about moving fluids through your body to get everything taut and lean and strong," she explained. "If I get sore and swell, it takes me a couple of days to come back down, and then your clothes are just fitting a different way because you're retaining lactic acid. [Those exercises] are meant to not make me too sore."
