Sharna Burgess is one of the top professional dancers out there. She toured with the renowned ballroom show, Burn The Floor, before joining Dancing With The Stars in 2011 as a member of their troupe. Sharna became a professional in the show’s 16th season, and went on to win the show’s 27th season. Now, she’s judging the Australian version of the show, and she’s making sure to bring looks to the judges’ table. Sharna shared her look for the second episode on Instagram. She Practices Portion Control

Sharna shared some of her wellness tips on her website, as reported by Life & Style. She says that when it comes to her diet, she watches her portions. “The key to this is PORTION CONTROL. You may not think another handful would make a difference, but times that handful by seven days or 30 days and before you know it, you’ve snacked your way to 7,000 calories.”

She Does Dance Cardio

Dance is obviously one of the exercises that keeps Sharna in shape. She even has her own dance cardio program. Sharna talked about it in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “The dance workout uses every single muscle there is. Every single muscle is engaged … There’s a lot of rotation and isolation and using all those small muscles.”

She Stays Hydrated

Sharna makes sure to stay hydrated. She talked about this on her website, as reported by Life & Style. “Drinking enough water has made a massive difference in my skin and even my sleep,” the redhead divulged. “It helps flush toxins from your body naturally. Being dehydrated can easily cause you to snack more because you think you’re hungry when actually you lack energy because you’re thirsty.”

She Does Tabata

Sharna likes to do Tabata workouts to keep herself in shape. She talked about this in an interview with Us Weekly. “I’m a big fan of Tabata,” she says. “Because you get so much work done so quickly and you don’t even realize it. You’re sticking to a schedule, you can’t mosey about. You’re in and you’re out in eight minutes with this one.”

She Gets Laser Treatments Done

Sharna has amazing skin, and she makes sure to take care of it. In this Instagram post, she shared her experience getting an opus laser treatment done. Sharna wrote in the caption, “I loved this whole experience and my results. I’ve invested in my skin since my 20s and battling with cystic acne. I have enlarged pores and acne scars that I’m still working on and it’s treatments like these that help them fade. An added bonus is the skin tightening and collagen growth helping those jowls out lol.”
