1

She Prioritizes Exercise

Sharna opened up about her wellness routine in an interview with Now To Love AU. She says that as she’s gotten older, she’s prioritized working out. “I noticed a change once 30 hit,” she says. “It just wasn’t as easy to consume calories without the consequences. I also found that it wasn’t just dancing I needed, but I also needed to hit the gym, to work on other muscles and on core strength. Previously I would take fitness for granted, because it was just part of what I do, but these days I make a real effort.

She Does A Variety Of Workouts

Sharna does a lot of different workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared some of her staple exercises with Now To Love AU. “Most mornings I wake up and I go to the gym and I love getting on the elliptical for as long as I can – usually an hour – which starts my day off pretty good. Then I’ll do light weights but high reps.”

She Has Cheat Days

Sharna makes sure to eat a healthy diet. However, she also puts one day a week aside for a cheat day. “It’s a sleep-in, eat chocolate, and do whatever I want kind of day,” Sharna told Now To Love AU. “That helps me stay in line throughout the rest of the week. I have very low willpower when it comes to food, but if I have my structure, and I know that I can indulge at the end of the week, then I feel good about it.”

Water with lemon.

She Does Full-Body Tabata Workouts

Sharna loves doing Tabata workouts, especially ones that work her whole body. She shared a workout with Us Weekly, which requires people to work multiple body parts. “What you want to remember is to keep your core engaged,” she says. “This isn’t just booty, this is essentially all over your body as well. You’re engaging your shoulders, you’re keeping yourself supported. Don’t let everything hunch and sink.”
