Sharna Burgess In Workout Gear Is "Marrying A Classic"

Sharna Burgess is loving engaged life with her fiance, Brian Austin Green. The couple host the podcast Oldish together, and are constantly sharing funny videos on social media. In a recent post, they poked fun at the age difference between them. Sharna is seen able to get up from the couch, while Brian gets up and comedically falls down. Sharna wore a white workout top and light gray pants, her impressive abs on display. She captioned the post, "I'm marrying a classic." How does she stay in shape? Here are 6 things Sharna Burgess does to stay fit.
She Doesn't Pressure Herself
After having her first child, Sharna opened up about the process of losing pregnancy weight to Us Weekly. She said that she didn't feel pressure to drop the weight right away. "Honestly, I thought I would [feel pressure]. I thought it would because of having been an athlete and my body being my career — it's not just about aesthetics on the outside, it's about how my core feels to be able to dance and do what I do. I thought I would feel that pressure. [But] I don't have pressure on myself."
She Stays Hydrated
Sharna shared some of her wellness tips in an interview with People. Since she's super active, she has to drink a lot of water to keep her energy up. Sharna also advised others to do the same. "Remember to stay hydrated. We all underestimate how important that is."
She Does Workouts She Enjoys
In her People interview, Sharna says that she makes sure to do things that she enjoys to keep herself in shape. She says that this is her secret behind consistent workouts. "The best form of exercise is one that you enjoy," she says. "Find a local dance studio, take a friend to hot yoga – make it a social thing if you struggle to find the motivation. Once there are changes in your body and your energy levels, that will be all the motivation you need."
She Cooks
Sharna makes sure to eat a healthy diet, and one way she does so is by cooking. She shared this video on Instagram of herself making a drumstick recipe with potatoes and asparagus on the side. Sharna captioned the post, "YUMMM… Sweet chilli chicken drumsticks with crispy cheesy potato's and asparagus. A major hit for my little fam. Super easy to make and I LOVE a slow cooker meal. Prepping in the morning and getting it all set helps the afternoons feel a bit less chaotic."
She Changed Her Social Media Habits
Sharna is making sure to put her mental health first. For this reason, she changed her social media habits. "Yesterday I said on stories I was taking a break from my feed because it's all just scary, depressing, infuriating (insert your own adjective here…) and I just needed a breather," she explained in this Instagram post. "But then I had multiple messages that thanked me for being a light, and reminded me that I CAN BE a light. So while I'm going to heavily curate my feed for my own sanity and stay away from news or triggering accounts, I will continue to share the good stuff, find joy in it and make the most of it. So maybe I won't take a break so much as I will reshape the way I interact with and observe content on here. And make a conscious effort to try and bring light with whatever I'm sharing."
She Swims
Sharna loves going for a swim. She and Brian took a vacation to Jamaica earlier this year, and they made sure to hit the beach. Sharna shared this highlight reel of the trip on Instagram. She captioned it, "How was this only a week ago? Life has been chaos since we got back from Jamaica but wow are we grateful to have had the time of connection and regeneration with each other before this. We were in paradise, a place I would highly recommend 10/10 for anyone wanting a getaway, a honeymoon location or simply a chance to relax and recharge."
